Muniová, Zuzana ; Jindra, Matouš (advisor) ; Psohlavec, Lukáš (referee)
Title: The influence of the natural environment on the development of gymnastic skills Objectives: The aim of the thesis was to find out whether the natural environment influences the development of gymnastic skills. Methods: 26 gymnasts from TJ Sokol Velký Osek participated in the study. This research was experimental. The girls were divided into 2 groups. The experimental group trained exclusively in the natural environment and the control group in the gym. Both groups participated in the pre test before the experiment and also in the post test after two months of training. The measured data were analyzed through basic statistical operations. Results: Partial confirmation of the truthfulness of the null hypothesis set for the purposes of this thesis. The null hypothesis was confirmed for balance beam and floor. The alternative hypothesis H1 was confirmed for horizontal bar and vault. Conclusions: Gymnastic training in difficult natural environmental conditions has a positive effect on the development of gymnastic skills. The research has helped us to find out that it is more than appropriate to include activities in the natural environment in the gymnastic training. Keywords: gymnastics, nature, movement skills
Selected gymnastics exercises for flexibility development of hip joints in karate training
Malíř, Roman ; Chrudimský, Jan (advisor) ; Krištofič, Jaroslav (referee)
Title: Selected gymnastic exercises for flexibility development of hip joints in karate training Objective: The aim of this thesis is to verify, whether typical gymnastic exercises have an effect on the development of hip joints in a group of karatist with different length of training practice. Methods: This thesis is of quasi-experimental character. 18 probands were intentionally selected from two groups - a group of moderately advanced (10) and a group of advanced (8) aged 6-11 years. Probands have completed a movement program aimed at developing flexibility in the hip joints (static, dynamic and theraband exercises). Meantime all probands underwent initial, first control, second control and output measurements using the SFTR method in the hip joints every four weeks of the movement program. Methods used: Mann-Whitney test, Effect size, SFTR method. Results: In both groups, the joint range in the hip joint was improved, especially in the first control measurement (after static exercises). Overall, there is a slight increase in both groups from input to output for all movements. The effect of the exercise on the mobility of the hip joint was not proved, as well as the effect of different types of exercises in both groups with different length of training practice. Use the MABC - 2 test battery to measure sport motor gymnastics
PLAVCOVÁ, Adéla
The graduation thesis is focused on the evaluation in motoric skills of sports gymnasts (n=18) aged between 7 to 10 years. The whole study took place in České Budějovice in the Merkur center with the support of a gymnastic team. For this experiment was used the methody called "MABC-2 formula" (Movement Assessment Battery for Children 2nd edition). The MABC-2 test is a standardized test that verifies a level of the motor function while indicating motor difficulties and difficulty in coordination. It consists of eight test items that are divided into three components. Individual components focus on testing fine motor skills (manual skill), gross motor skills (aiming and catching) and balance. After performing the MABC-2 test and obtaining gross scores for each item, we created tables and graphs of component and total test scores (TTS). We compared the results to the standardization norms this test battery and with other researches in this field that deal with motor testing using the MABC-2 test battery. At the basis of this comparison, we evaluated the level of motor skills in the tested group of gymnasts. This thesis confirmed that gymnasts achieved in all components above-average results. For evaluation of the gymnasts balance skills the MABC-2 wasn´t sensitive enought.

There is also defined a preparation for handling jumps from a small trampoline, stimulation of motor skills and their division, the technique of motion and general didactic principles. The main goal of the practical part is to design a didactic program for handling selected jumps from a small trampoline. The design is based on a kinematic analysis of selected jumps, literary research and your own experience. These are the basic jumps: the forward tuck, the forward pike, the forward straight and the forward double tuck. The kinematic analysis, the observation method and video recordings were used to fulfill the objectives and tasks. Verification of a special training program with gymnastic elements and its influence on development of physical abilities of young footballers
KOVÁRNA, Jaroslav
The aim of this diploma thesis was to create a training program containing gymnastic elements and to verify the effect on physical abilities of young footballers. Our created program contained ten exercises. The research group was made up of twenty young footballers aged 10 11 years. It was quasi-experiment, specifically Time series design. We did the input testing, than nine weeks was a classical training, than we did a second testing, than we applied our created training program for nine weeks and at the end we did the output testing. Testing was performed using a structured Denisiuk test which includes five sub-tests that measure physical abilities of youth. We statistically verified the results using a pair t - test at the level of significance 0.05. Then we calculated the substantive significance of results. Improvements occurred in all tests but t - test came out only for tests measuring explosive strength and endurance. T - test not came out for tests measuring speed, strength and coordination. Substantive significance of results of tests measuring explosive strength and endurance was high and substantive significance of results of tests measuring speed, strength and coordination was medium.
Sports nutrition for younger school-aged female gymnasts
Opočenská, Kristýna ; Šteffl, Michal (advisor) ; Kinkorová, Ivana (referee)

The correct nutritional content in a diet may help enhance performance, reduce fatigue, accelerate recovery, and reduce the occurrence of accidents and injuries. Objectives: This bachelor's thesis summarizes the available information regarding the optimal diet for young, school-aged female artistic gymnasts and provides dietary recommendations based on their needs. Methods: A literature review was conducted and the results summarize the presently available data about healthy diets for young athletes, focusing on younger school-aged gymnasts. Information was obtained from the Czech and foreign literature and nutrition specialists' lectures, complemented with the author's own experience as a gymnastics coach. Conclusion: Although numerous publications have dealt with the issue of what constitutes a healthy diet for children and adults who participate in sport, neither the practical source of recommendations nor information on an optimal diet has been found for artistic gymnasts. In order to create optimal diet plans to meet the needs of young school-age female gymnasts, the author had to acquire data from materials related to other sports, modifying it slightly according to the...
