Radiation risks potentially connected with computerized tomography in Czech republic
VEVERKA, Martin
Diagnostic X-rays are the most important man-made source of radiation exposure for the general population, contributing about 14% of the total annual exposure worldwide from all sources. However, although diagnostic X-rays provide great benefits, it is generally accepted that their use involves some small risk of developing cancer. The risk to an individual is probably small because radiation doses are usually low, but the large number of people exposed annually means that even small individual risks could translate into a considerable number of cancer cases. The aim of this work was to reestimate this risk on the basis of the annual number of CT examinations undertaken in the Czech Republic and typical doses applied. But there wasn't possible to find necessary data for planned reckonings by return, because their archiving isn't obligatory. This study, therefore, only describes common incidence of ionising radiation with human organism and further, all inevitable mathematically-physical equations needed for realization of primary planned investigation, with all necessary datal inputs included. In findings of this work there are drafted and demonstrated procedures, how to obtain and cultivate needed data ,so it was possible to compare it with technical literature.

Motivation and stimulation of workers in nonproductive institutions.
MASAŘ, Jaroslav
The aim of this diploma work is pointed out of importace of motivation and stimulation of human source for final success of the institution. For my survey were choosen two institutions, which act on a market with services, but they are totally different, mainly in term of finance. Persons employed in services do not create any material goods, but sell the products of themselves, such as their knowledge etc. The first organization was a school and the second one was an insurance company. On the whole answered fourty-three persons, from that twenty at insurance company and twenty-three at school. In the first part of this diploma work I summarized theoretical infotmation about motivation and stimulation. Next capitol is concentred on institutions, on their introduction and their history. In methodology there is described questionnare method, which is used and operating sequence. Each answer was put down into the graph and the results and discussion follow after the graph. Such as the best motivation and stimulation for people is their income. Higher income motives most of workers in work and for their next education. People are the most important and unique source for each company therefore satisfaction of workes is so important. If the human sources are not motivated properly, the competitive advantage declines. Both companies should improve their motivation and stimulation program for their workers, not just in work, but for next education too.

Somol, Petr ; Novovičová, Jana ; Pudil, Pavel ; Kittler, J.
Feature Selection has been a subject of extensive research that nowadays extends far beyond the boundaries of statistical pattern recognition. We provide a concise yet wide view of the topic including representative references in an attempt to point out that important results can be easily overlooked or duplicated in a variety of – even indirectly related – research fields.

The usage of so called clean energy has become a global challenge that raises big controversies on a local and regional level though. Wind turbines turned out to be the most controversial phenomenon for both the scientific and public community. Hereat a social acceptance (community acceptance and political acceptance) is the key question in the planning and realisation process. A potential impacts on landscape character, swirling turbines´ noise and speculations concerning potential negative impacts on tourism have become the main arguments of opposition in the last two three years. The aim of the paper is to analyze, evaluate and empirically verify a potential impact of the wind power developments on tourism on the example of localities of Slezská Harta (dam) and Boží Dar and Kryštofovy Hamry (Ore Mountains).
