Visualization of the MBI data
Syrovátka, Adam ; Novotný, Ota (advisor) ; Pour, Jan (referee)
The topic of this master's thesis is to design and implement a web application for visualization of relationships between the MBI objects in order to deliver additional functionality to the web portal of MBI - Management of Business Informatics. The first part introduces the concept of MBI and ranks the functionality of the MBI web portal from the view of user queries and visualization capabilities. The queries which are identified as the most difficult are set as the primary functional request for the new web application. The second part contains the design and implementation of the web application. Both functional and non-functional requirements are specified, including the design of user interface and visual graph searching. Based on these requirements, a suitable application architecture is selected together with a graph database and suitable query library and visualization library. The application is implemented with the selected technologies and tested against the initial requirements. The last part includes a service manual and a user documentation which describes the complete application functionality and provides a use case scenario.
The object characteristics of the Objective-C language and the usefulness of its inclusion into curriculum.
Saraikin, Alexey ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Oraný, Vladimír (referee)
This thesis adresses the object characteristics of the Objective-C language and the usefulness of its inclusion into curriculum. Objective-C language is an object-oriented programming language based on C language that is accompanied by support of objects from SmallTalk. Currently it is being used in the operating systems Mac OS X and iOS of the Apple company. Objective-C was created by Brad Cox in the early 1980s. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the object characteristics of Objective-C, to give a comprehensive overview of its object traits as well as the work with the objects and also to consider the usefulness of its inclusion into curriculum. The thesis has been divided into four chapters. The first part contains the introduction, the aims, topics and the advantages of the thesis. The second chapter describes the object characteristics of the Objective-C language and the useful terms. The third chapter deals with the work with the objects. The fourth chapter evaluates the efficiency of the Objective-C and its inclusion into the university education. For this evaluation, the following criteria has been used: the availability of the literery sources, the initial conditions and prospects of the Objective-C language, the popularity of the programming languages available, the usage of the language on the labour market and the demands of the syntax. This chapter also lists the disadvantages (advantages) of the Objective-C language and the possibilities of its usage.

Sculpture as Architecture of the Future
VINDUŠKA, Michal
The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the creative expressions of sculpting and architecture, which are based on two fundamental and characteristic malleable ways: geometric form and organic form. It describes in detail some implementation of selected artists and shows on it the possibilities and methods (mainly artistic and functional) of the application of the above mentioned forms. These analyses then will help not only to compare the artistic work, but also are initial information to create an own original concept of the object, which is sculpturally implemented.
Primary Prerequisites of Secure Escape of People from an Object
ŠAGÁTOVÁ, Petra
My work is aimed at basic conditions for safe evacuation of people from a building. I tried to document this problematic issue from the view of a possibility when an effective evacuation is being carried out of people from a danger zone. This evacuation is resulting from an emergency accident. Such emergency accidents (fire, an explosion, etc.) threaten inhabitants{\crq} health, life and property. Therefore, in my thesis, I took into account the technical security of the evacuation of people from a building. I also took into account safety signs, legislative support, the ways of designs and their technical capabilities.
