Attitudes of social workers towards people with different sexual orientation

This bachelor thesis deals with social workers' approach to people with different sexual orientation. More specifically, this thesis is focused on LGBT adoption, adoption and social workers' work with this target group. The thesis defines the basic terms, such as homosexuality, LGBT community, homophobia, discrimination, the mission and the aims of social work, custody, LGBT parenting and upbringing. The goal of this thesis is to find out, what is the social workers' approach to people with different sexual orientation. The outcome of my research on social workers' perception and approach is described in the chapter six.
Legislation registered partnership and its social aspect

This Bachelor thesis on the topic of "registered partnership legislation and its social aspect" describes how the society looked at homosexuality throughout history, and how it is perceived nowadays. The opinion of the society in this matter has developed gradually and is continuously evolving. I see the meaning of this work in extending informations for persons who preffers persons of the same sex. Additional value is that the general public awareness of the issue would be wider. Addaptation of registered partnership or same sex marriages may not be in certain countries enacted, no one can give this country order to do so. Therefore, there are still countries where registred partnership is not allowed in the legal order of the country. Bachelor's thesis concentrates on two aspects. The main aspect is to summarize the law of registered partnerships and its social aspect in selected countries of the European Union, when was the legislation of registered partnership described in the Czech Republic and, eventually, in selected countries of the European Union. Through the additional aspect was compared the adjustments of registered partnership between selected States. Due to the fact, that the thesis is only theoretical and research was not carried out, I used analytical-descriptive method.
Registered partnership and its influence on the formation of families

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to define the issue of the registered partnership of homosexuals, including the problems related to the issue, focusing on the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is devoted to homosexuality, followed by registered partnership itself including the process of legislative formation of the registered partnership law and rights and obligations among partners in the Czech Republic. The part also deals with models of registered partnerships in the European Union and the opportunities offered to registered partners in terms of child care. The practical part deals with the processing and evaluation the data, obtained through a questionnaire survey. Chi-square analysis of the independence test for the four-pane table was used in addition to descriptive data analysis. The practical part of the thesis also deals with the data evaluation from the 2011 Population and Housing Census and the data provided by the Gay Initiative web portal.

The subject matter of this diploma thesis is an institute of register partnership analysis effective in Czech Republic. The initial chapters define terms such as family, marriage, discrimination or process of legalisation. Those terms are subsequently confronted with the subject matter of this diploma thesis. The main part of this thesis is focused on the law analysis with its legal effects in other branches of law. The diploma thesis also includes a chapter about parental right of homosexual persons. Last of all I mention proposed amendment about registered partnership. The aim of my diploma thesis is to give a complex grasp and survey about contemporary legal situation of the registered partnership issues.

Development of legal regulation of relations between persons of the same sex in the Czech Republic

The subject of this thesis is to provide comprehensive description of the subsequent evaluation of the historical development of legal regulation of relations between persons of the same sex in the Czech Republic since the first signs of its existence until the present in order to suggest the direction of the development of relevant legislation (ie. the legislation de lege ferenda). In the thesis is proceeded on the timeline from the oldest to the youngest (current) adjustments, from the general definition of homosexuality to a special analysis of the relevant legislation. Homosexuality and parenthood

This thesis analyzes Czech legislation regulating relationships of same-sex couples and their options regarding family founding provided by Czech legal regulation. The aim of the thesis is to analyze and evaluate current Czech legislation and put it into international context. To attain this aim, this thesis uses three different approaches. Firstly it provides conclusions of conterporary social sciences in the field of parenthood of same-sex couples and impacts of homosexual parenting onto various areas of psychological and social adjustment od children. Secondly, the comparative study of czech legislation and legislations of Norway, United Kingdom, Germany and Slovakia is included. Thirdly, relevant cases decided by European Court of Human Rights are analyzed. Upon the findings provided by these analysis, the thesis evaluate suitability of czech legal regulation and propose possible future development in this area.

Private international law from a comparative perspective(comparison of a particular segment in Czech law and the law of a selected country) This thesis works with a comparison of conflict rules in the field of international family law in the Czech Republic and in the Federal Republic of Germany. It is focused concretely on questions of marriage, register partnership and adoption, in which is included an international element. The topic has been taken into account in addition to the national rules of international private law also rules at international and European level. Includes is also future progress in this field. Thesis is divided into eight chapters. The introduction is followed by first chapter, which deals with general classification of international family law as a part of international private law and their definition. Following chapter is focused on conflict rules, determingfactores which may be used to determine the applicable law. Included are terms as public policy, remise or transmise. Chapter three is about general definition of court's jurisdiction to hear the dispute with an international element.
