Organized and Individual Activities for Seniors in Retirement Home
SEHNOUTKOVÁ, Denisa
The theoretical part of my bachelor thesis deals with general terms related to social work, social worker, confidentiality or quality standards of social services. Here I also analyse the field which is crucial for my thesis and that is the elderly people, their activities, quality of life and how they spend their leisure time. In the practical part of my bachelor thesis I describe the activities for the elderly in a home for the elderly, namely in the G centrum Tábor. The aim of my thesis is to find out what activities are offered to the elderly and to identify the factors that influence the participation in the activation programmes. In my research I try to answer several questions, such as whether particular elderly people take part in the activities, which activities are most asked for by them or what are the main factors that influence the participation in such activities. I reached my goals thanks to a quality research. I acquired the data through a semi-structured interview and then I divided the information into codes and categories. In the research group there were six clients of the G centrum Tábor. I carried out the research in June 2020. I think that my bachelor's thesis can serve as feedback to employees and management of the G Centrum Tábor from their clients.

Perspektivy rozvoje elektricky poháněných vozidel kategorie M
BRABEC, Martin
The number of cars with the combustion engines which they move on the roads all around the world is alarming. It is impossible to overlook the incidental impacts of this expansion out of consideration for this number. The most perceptible impact is on our environment where we live. The air, especially in the cities, is not what it once was. Alternative-fuel vehicles start to be used because of these impacts and we believe in improvement. One of the solutions is using electric vehicles (EV). The request of this thesis is: The perspectives of the electric vehicles' development of category M. The main goal of this thesis was the determination of the factors which have some effect on the development of electromobility. Afterwards it was important to do the practical verification of chosen electric vehicles (EV) on the same road and the evaluation of the figures gained during the measuring. The other operation factors were also verified with these problems.
ANALYSIS OF MARKETING ENVIRONMENT IN VÝSTAVIŠTĚ ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE, A. S.
SUCHÁ, Veronika
Exhibitions and trade fairs have formed an integral part of the market in the Czech Republic. No matter whether its size is small, medium or large, every company becomes increasingly interested in knowledge of its environment (both internal and external). What is also important is correct assessment of internal conditions and their optimal connection with the external environment factors. The companies do not take up with the statement that there are strong and weak points, opportunities and risks. It is important to examine the factors, assess them and use the ascertained facts to increase prosperity. I used the analysis of the Porter{\crq}s Five Forces Model to ascertain the company micro-environment. I divided the collected information into two groups. The first group concerned the information about the company itself while the second one characterized the company environment (customers, suppliers and competitors). The first important group which forms a part of the company environment is the customers. The customers of the exhibition grounds in České Budějovice can be divided into two groups: the first group consists of exhibitors and traders, and the second one is the visitors. The company has various promotional and advertising printed materials elaborated by its suppliers. As far as the competitors in the Czech Republic are concerned, these are particularly the fair managements that organize fairs on the same or similar topics. As the macro-environment of the company, the whole of the Czech Republic can be defined, however, the most important part is the region of South Bohemia. In this region, the factors characteristic for the area, such as lower economic power, lower purchase power and considerable saving behaviour of the region population, have to be taken into account.
Climate Change Risk Premium, Stock Returns and Volatility Analysis in Relation to ESG Score
Barotov, Timur ; Baruník, Jozef (advisor) ; Vácha, Lukáš (referee)
The purpose of this study is to provide the evidence in regards to how the ESG score integration in the investment strategies affects the stock portfolio performances. The 10 year long panel data on European stocks were used to test how does the corporate ESG score correlate with returns and volatility on corporate stocks and does it (if at all) hold any explanatory power if added to popularly used asset pricing models. Data sample was divided in two based on long and short ESG reporting periods, where on each the analysis was performed separately. Furthermore, both the single sort and double sort analyses were performed to isolate size and ESG effects. Using Fama-MacBeth regression the results seem to suggest that investors are already pricing in the climate related risks as shown by the negative risk premium associated with high ESG firms. Returns and volatility of corporate stocks tend to be lower with higher ESG score, although not uniformly nor very significantly. Comparing Leaders portfolio showed that high (European) ESG scorers underperfomed S&P 500 index both in terms of return and volatility.

Gojová, Barbora ; Šťastný, Petr (advisor) ; Prokešová, Eva (referee)
Title: Sports training of national Para ice hockey team players in the Czech Rep. Results: The aim of my thesis was to find out the current state of preparation of para hockey players in the Czech Republic and, based on the results, to create a proposal of missing elements supporting the performance of players. Method: The first method was a questionnaire survey, in which I examined the current level of preparation of players of the Czech national team in para hockey and, based on the second research method, which was an interview, I described the main factors affecting the performance of players. Results: The preparation of para hockey players is still at a lower level compared to the world. Training units are insufficient in terms of complexity, they lack, for example, a focus on endurance and training of game skills. Hockey clubs lack a sufficient number of training units off the ice, no recovery and rest plan is included, and very little emphasis is placed on compensatory training. The main factors influencing the player's performance are age, type of physical handicap, weight, sports history of personality, personality psyche and resilience and morally free qualities. Another important factor is the lack of documents and publications in the Czech language on how to train effectively. The...
Factors affecting the course of primary succession in queries
Kuťáková, Eliška ; Münzbergová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Püschel, David (referee)
Abandoned quarries represent very important habitats for ecology and conservational biology: they have a potential to become refuges of species diversity in present landscape, strongly disturbed by humans. Natural value of these localities increases in case the localities are left for natural development and spontaneous succession, or if they are managed with the aim to obtain a natural community. To be able to do such a management is necessary to understand the mechanisms of succession as much as possible. In the theoretical part of my thesis I deal with factors, which can affect the course of succession in different ways, especially with climate, soil conditions, seed dispersal and interactions among plants and between plants and animals. This thesis is a theoretical basis for a research in quarry Čeřinka in the Czech Karst Protected Landscape Area. Dispersal abilities of species from the surrounding communities, changes in abiotic conditions at the localities and changes in species composition will be studied. The results of these studies should contribute to our understandings of primary succession in abandoned quarries and I am going to deal with them in my future diploma thesis.
Factors affecting succession in abandoned mines
Valoušková, Martina ; Münzbergová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Püschel, David (referee)
Extraction of limestone in protected landscape areas is a huge phenomenon and problem at the moment. Need of its quantity and quality constantly rise. The pressure to expand mining areas, which are located on places with considerable landscape and culture wealth, is rising as well. Returning of damaged territories back to natural cycle from which they have been forcibly extracted is even a bigger problem. The great unknown is whether it is better to proceed by means of reclamation or let the territory to its own evolution - spontaneous succession. In my thesis I am going to deal with the problems of spontaneous succession and factors affecting it. It is important to find out how plants can spread to left and open areas after mining, where they are going to be the first inhabitants. The fieldwork take place Cerinka quarry in Czech Karst. The aim of the study is to collect informations how plants can spread from maternal habitats and try to find out if there are any hurdles, which could hinder plants in the expansion. By doing this it should be possible to identify why how to support spreading of the target species to the site. The research is based on regular collection of phytosociological relevés at the site. Key words: spontaneous succession, quarries, Czech karst, mining, reclamation, factors
