Production of lamp cover

Project dissertate about manufacturing of lamp cover of steel 13 200 in serie 43 000. After comparing all the alternatives how to make the product , was choose a method of convention deep drawing. Product is manufactured in one operation. Design of apparatus using as standardized, so special parts. It is fitted in hydraulic pressing machine CTC 25. Functional parts are made from tool steel 19 191. Costs of production was calculated on 15,21 crowns a piece. From 26 173 manufactured pieces will the production gainful.
Technology project for general production of the "PC-box cover"

The project, which was done within the scope of engineering’s study shows the proposal of new technology and production organization of a part “PC cover” – a piece done by deep drawing technology from steel sheet of material 11 321. The study shows some of production operations such as cutting, bending, drawing and shearing, included production method solving. In the project were solved also necessary technological calculations and constructional drafts of forming tool. The whole work covers a complex solution of problems related to production of PC cover together with technological disposition of workplace which represents effective layout, distribution and designing of workplace and machines, used for production of the part in a workshop
Production single parts from sheet metal with usage technology deep drawing

JURČA Jan: The manufacturing of sheet metal part by deep draw technology. Thesis of Master´s Studies, the 5th Year of Study, the School-year 2008/2009, The Institute of Manufacturing Technology, Department of Machining, FSI VUT Brno.The thesis deals with the project of manufacturing the part of the car body – the fifth door by deep draw technology. The material is zinc-coated sheet metal HX220YD EN 10292. Mechanical properties and suitability of the material are evaluated by mechanical tests. The structure of the material is evaluated by metalography scratch pattern. The analysis of draw process and manufacturability of the part is made by calculations and AutoForm software. The production line, necessary machinery and construction solution of draw tool for the manufacturing the part are determined. Last section deals with economical evaluation of the production.
Manufacturing of oil filter

This thesis deals with the proposal of an oil filter body manufacture. The oil filter body is a rotational part made of DC02 deep drawing steel. With respect to the material, geometry and the size of the production, a deep drawing technology which does not consider wall thinning, was chosen. It was decided about necessity of five drawing operations. Suitable presses for a notching line and the very drawing were selected. Next part of the thesis is given to the design of the rolling tool construction. A drawing die for the first operation is described in details, including the controls and drawings. The economic part compares variants with the requirements of monthly production of 50 000, 180 000 and 350 000 pieces respectively. Due to the economic study, the production of 180 000 pieces per month was chosen.
Technology of production cover by forming

Master´s thesis project elaborated within the scope of Master´s degree submits a proposal of manufacture technologies for complicated components with the transition of an elliptical shell into a rectangular shape. Material: Aluminium EN: AW-3003, thickness 2 mm. Estimated annual production: 80 000 pieces. Drawing tool with blankholder was designed based on calculations and literature study of deep drawing. The drawing operation is performed by a hydraulic press ZH 50 with a rated power of 500 kN. The drawing tools are made from tool steel 1.2379 (19 573). Proposal of suitable technologies respectively drawing proces was verified by simulation program FormingSuite and PAM-STAMP.
Production single parts "HOLDER"

The diploma thesis is elaborated within frame of masters study programme 2303T010. The work is submitting design of technology production of the drawn part – the holder. The work is based on the study of problems of the deep drawing process and related calculation was designed drawing in instrument with holder according to drawing documentation 2-5M68-12/00. The lower ejector is using for extrusion component. The drawing instrument make use of standardised components and it is solving forms of customary stool close-set on the crank drawing inclinable press LESP 63 A (producer ŠMERAL Brno, plant Trnava), with nominal tensile force 1000 kN. Drawing punch and drawing die are produced from alloyed instrumental steel 19 573, heat-worked according to drawing documentation.

Project elaborate in terms of engineering studies branch 2303T002 submits proposal technology of production single parts from deep drawing press steel metal plate 11 305.21. On the basis literary study problems blanking, deep drawing and calculations was designed drawing in instrument with holder, to extrusion components serves lower ejector. Combination tool is set on hydraulic press CTH 250 with nominal tensile by force 250 kN. Drawable tools (drawing punch, drawing die) and shear pin tools (blanking punch, blanking die) are made from instrumental steels 19 436.3, heat treated condition to drawing documentation.
The Production of the oil pan

The dissertation deals with a suggestion of the production of an oil pan into the car with a deep drawing. The part will be produced out of a deep drawed steel plate – class 11 305 (DC04). On the basis of a calculation and the study of the corresponding literature about the deep drawing a reverse drawing in a convention tools with a blank holder has been suggested. The part of the machine will be also an upper ejector for the fall of a sticking of a drawn part in the die. As a semi-product a blank has been chosen, which is burned out from the piece of plate with the dimension of 2500 x 12500 mm and thickness 1 mm with the help of the laser. The production quantity is 30 000 per one year. As a forming machine a universal hydraulic presser CTH 250 from the Czech company Žďas a.s. with the nominal power 2500 kN has been chosen.
Tests metal sheet in the engineering practice

The thesis presents the theoretical summary of tests metal sheets, which are used in industrial practice. Based on the literature study of cold metal forming was performed Erichsen test which tested body sheets DC06 + ZE, CR340LA + GI / GA50-U, CR300LA + GI / GA50-U. From the test result showed that all sheets are suitable for forming, as indicated by the supplier. It was designed product for testing thin sheets.
The suggestion of technology of protection cover

he project executed in frame of Bachelor study presents a suggestion of manufacturing technology of cover made of deep drawing sheet iron DC 04. The theses includes comparing of possible manufacturing technologies and elaboration of manufacturing procedure by deep drawing. Based on calculation was discovered that there are four drawing and one calibrating operations needed. The CTC 250 press was chosen and for it was the tool designed for a first draw. In the theses was included economical-technical evaluation which shows that set of 50 000 pieces a year is profitable.
