The Differences in selected Students Personality Characteristics of full-time and combined Study

The presented thesis deals with the differences in selected characteristic features among full-time and combined students. The theoretical part presents a set of problems related to personality in general, the practical part -- by means of questionnaire investigation -- finds out the existence of these differences; further on the thesis analyses possible impacts on students' study results. Finally, there are formulated particular recommendations for the prevention of possible problems that might occur in this sphere.
Recommended reading in the Czech language at primary school

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of "Recommended reading in the Czech language at primary school", it tries to summarize the position of the recommended reading nowadays. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on characteristics and definition of the essential notions of this problematic, such as the reader, children´s reading, reading literacy and extra reading-book and recommended reading. The research is focused on primary teachers and it is based on the survey. The survey aim is to find out the position of recommended reading at primary school, whether it is assigned and how do the teachers organize that.

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the theme of fairy tales and its function in the child's upbringing. This thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the issue of a fairy tale, its constitution and functions, the struggles of story and influence on child. The practical part contains a survey focusing on Understanding the fairy tale from perspective of children from nursery and primary school and possible differences between these different age categories.
Understanding of reading text by pupils on the first grade at the primary school

This diploma thesis was called Understanding of reading text on the first level of basic schools. My thesis is focused on reader´s literacy issue, because recently this topic is often discussed. I decided to make a research that is concerned to this problem. The research was carried out on the first level of the basic school in Ledenice. Fifty pupils from five classes were tested. These pupils filled special tests after reading a given text. The goal of carried research was to find out the level of reader´s literacy. At the beginning of my research some hypothesis were set. These hypothesis could be largely confirmed after the research.
Inmate women´s attitude towards literature, reading and books

This thesis deals with convicted women´s attitude towards books, reading and literature. The goal of this thesis was to find out what kind of relation have chosen inmate women in prison in Světlá nad Sázavou towards literature and books. We also asked and responded the question, if insufficient or missing reading habits could be predictable factor of criminal behavior, because we think that insufficient reading habits and possibility to commit a crime could be somehow connected.
Cooperation ability development of younger-school-age children with the use of selected publications through art techniques

This thesis is focused on cooperation of younger school age children and on possibilities of its development with the use of literary subject and creative activity. Theoretical part defines the specifics of younger school age children and the physical and mental development of a child. It defines phenomenon of cooperation, the teacher?s role in cooperative education, learning environment, cooperative play and possibilities of cooperation in arts. It describes the importance and specificity of literature for children; it defines the relationship of children to books at present time. It also focuses on fairy tales and their importance for small readers. The thesis characterizes the creative education of children, its importance and interconnection with literature. It describes some art techniques, which are suitable for working with younger school age children. The practical part is focused on creative expression of younger school age children and on their cooperation within the creative activity. The activity with children has been done in after-school club. All the activities have been motivated with books by famous Czech writers.
