Černý, Štěpán ; Kuźniar, Mariusz (advisor) ; Opatrný, Aleš (referee)
This work uses analytical-comparativel methodology in basic outline trying to map catechetical-pastoral activity of the Church in Czechoslovakia since the establishment of the first republic to the present. Given the extensive topic it is focused only to selected major figures of Czech churches who were acting from the thirties of the 20th century to the Velvet Revolution and who, through their services, influenced the lives of many people. Work first defines the terminology and then presents a theoretical study of basic post-conciliar magisterium of the Catholic Church documents, relating to the subject of work - catechesis of adults. In this light as well as in historical and social context of the past, this work also perceives testimony of life, services, and ideas of three giants of the era which were Tomislav Kolakovič, Ota Mádr and Jan Evangelista Urban. Through their lifes analysing the literary works of those, this work will show individual paths of adults-catechesis and what these theologians were anticipating with as it was found later in church documents.

Čermáková, Bronislava ; Eliáš, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Kuźniar, Mariusz (referee)
The diploma thesis "Teacher-Pupil Relation in Religious Education and Catechesis" presents some aspects of relations in religious education and catechesis. In the first part of the thesis, some general characteristics of teacher-pupil relation are described from the perspective of pedagogy and psychology and some ethic aspects of this relation are outlined. The second part deals with the specific features of the relations developed in religious education and catechesis. The subject and aim of catechesis (which is the growth of the catechised's faith) and of the religious education (the developement of mature and responsible attitude towards religious belief and Christianity) both imply the conclusion, that the teacher-pupil relation is much closer and more personal than in other school subjects teaching. This relation should be, above all, based on mutual love and respect. This proximity can become the source of mutual enrichment, but it also brings a considerable risk of failure and abuse. The damages caused this way have grave consequences for the personal developement of the catechised, their relation towards themselves, other people and God. The responsibility in such cases always lies upon the catechist (teacher). The healthy relation between the subjects of catechesis presumes high level of...

The main topic of this work is an effort to answer the question, whether confessional teaching of religion is the right way to approach pupils from secular environment. In the first part of my work I follow up the definition of catechesis and its history. I look for goals and contents of religion teaching in individual church documents with consideration to non-religious pupils. In the last section of this work I pay attention to developmental psychology, development of religious judgment and the character of educator. Introducing a child into the celebration of Holy Mass in the reflection of preparations for the first Holy Communion
ZRZAVÁ, Marie
This thesis deals with the preparation of children for the first Holy Communion and their introduction into active and conscious celebration of Holy Mass. The theoretical part describes specifics of Christian education, typical features of younger school age?s children and nature of religious education and catechesis. Further more it describes the basic definition of the liturgy, the ways or possibilities of a true celebration of liturgical celebrations. The practical part is made up of two areas. The first section is based on the theoretical part and its basis characterizes the basic criteria which the preparation for first Holy Communion should respect. The second section contains a brief characterization of twelve books and series about the preparation for the first Holy Communion. These materials are reflected from three aspects ? if they are intended for teaching religion or catechesis, whether they count in cooperation with the family and possibly with the parish, or if they ultimately prepare children for their active and conscious participation in Holly Mass. The review is not aimed only to criticise, but rather wants to emphasize the potential benefits of a particular material and thus its importance in the systematic introducing of children into the celebration of the liturgy, from which it is possible to gain the true joy and hope.
