The use of statistical process control as a tool of the quality control system in the production process
Horák, Jiří ; Brýdl, David (referee) ; Bartes, František (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the determination of possible benefits from the introduction and use of statistical regulation in the production process and the display and evaluation of control charts of the selected product of the company.
Product quality assurance in series production
Beneš, Ondřej ; Potanko, Andrej (referee) ; Maradová, Karla (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the product quality assurance in series production. Focus of the thesis is on the process of product quality planning and approval process for a part under development. The thesis addresses the issue of initial process capability study, which is one of the production part approval process requirements. Main purpose of the thesis is a statistical analysis and subsequent evaluation of encapsulated coil production process, conducted using the DMAIC methodology. Findings of the analysis confirm significant influence of the input material on the observed parameter. Based on those findings, a change to the purchased part dimensions was proposed, with assumption of moving the process location to the centre of the specification limits and thus increasing the process capability and meeting the customer requirements to the part approval.
Quality assurance of ultrasonic instruments
Macková, Ivana ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Maradová, Karla (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with quality assurance of ultrasonic instruments. The thesis presents the ultrasonic technologies, the types of ultrasonic tools used nowadays and the requirements for their quality. The thesis addresses the issue of time-consuming quality control of ultrasonic instruments. The solution of the given problem consists in the use of statistical process control and application of acceptance sampling. According to the sampling plan, the acceptance number and the sample size to be checked during the output inspection is determined. By reducing the number of pieces to be inspected, time and financial savings are achieved.
Use of statistical process control as an instrument of quality management system in the production process
Horák, Jiří ; Brýdl, David (referee) ; Bartes, František (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals the evaluation of control charts of the quality characteristics of the selected company product and the determination of possible benefits from the introduction and use of statistical process control in the production process.
Statistical Analysis of Data from PDF Files
Oltmanová, Kristína ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis is concerning the process of data extraction from tables from documents in PDF format and their subsequent analysis with the exploitation of statistical methods. The goal of this thesis is to demonstrate the process of obtaining, processing and analyzing data from PDF files, which, in consideration of their program processing, create a finite number of subgroups with common characteristics. Firstly, the reader will become acquainted with the fundamentals of PDF file processing and basic mathematical principles that are required in order to statistically evaluate given data. Obtained theoretical principles are then applied to practical use and programming form in the Python programming language. The resulting web application is programmed using the Flask Python library and is usable on a local server.
Statistical support of the company management process
Kubíček, Jan ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Maradová, Karla (advisor)
Master’s thesis describes statistical process control as a support for company management. Statistical process control methods and tools are introduced. Requirements for automotive industry are stated specifically for IATF 16949 standard and VDA 6.3 process audit method. Thesis presents current state in company Sanmina-SCI Czech Republic s.r.o regarding statistical regulation. Applies statistical process controls into the new process considering automotive requirements. It is all happening together with a new business introduction of automotive customer.
Determination of capability and stability of a chosen technical process
Šváchová, Mariana ; Blecha, Petr (referee) ; Bednář, Josef (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the capability of a specific production process. The theoretical part of the work contains a description of statistical process control, types of control charts and evaluation of process capability. The practical part is focused on evaluating the capability of a specific process. The method of dataset collection is described at first, then this data are analyzed and the capability of this process is evaluated.
Study of implementation of SPC statistical method for control of technological operations
Ondruška, Jan ; Zeman, Karel (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The master’s thesis contains a procedure of implementation of statistical process control for a machining process in a chosen company. The method is based upon knowledge of this topic which are mentioned in the first part of the thesis. The output is a comparison of general process performance before and after implementation of the above-mentioned statistical method and evaluation of the influence of this new method at the process. The comparison is done using hypothesis testing of specific statistical variables and analysis of process performance and capability of both data sets. The acquired knowledge and experience will be used for implementation of statistical process control for other processes in the company’s production portfolio.
Detection of key factors of non-standard pieces in series production
Beňo, Tomáš ; Blecha, Petr (referee) ; Bednář, Josef (advisor)
The presented thesis deals with the issue of statistical quality control of a specific production process. The thesis presents a range of statistical tools that can be used to identify the factors causing a high proportion of non-standard pieces. The diploma thesis practically introduces the application of these quality management tools to the production process characterized by an increased proportion of non-standard pieces, in which the factors causing their occurrence are unknown, and as following the thesis in detail introduces the approach how to detect these factors. The last part of the work summarizes the recommendations handed over to the company in order to verify the conclusions of the thesis.
Implementation of SPC into the manufacturing process
Simandl, Martin ; Nikodým, Lukáš (referee) ; Bartes, František (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the introduction of statistical process control in selected manufacturing company XYZ. It is divided into a theoretical and a practical part, while the theoretical part deals with theoretical knowledge of SPC methodology and quality management. The content of the practical part is the design and implementation of the measuring and evaluation station, which will be used for statistical control of the SPC process, into the emerging production of chip machining.
