Description and evaluation of selected managerial functions

The aim of this work is to describe and evaluate selected management functions for the position of mid-level manager or design changes. This thesis deals with four managerial functions - planning, organizing, communication and control. The selection went from the concept of managerial functions by Fayol, communication was chosen according to Drucker. These features allow the selected company to obtain relevant information. Based on observations, tests MBTI and way of thinking, and shadowing managers in mid-level description was made of selected management functions and its time management. Then possible changes were proposed.

The aim of this baccalaureate work was assess selected manager functions - planning, organising, communication and verification, applied in the company TRUST-ts spol. s r.o. and proposition of appropriate general changes to effective improve the managing a business. The theoretical part was devoted to selected managerial functions. In the practical part was briefly introduced the company TRUST-ts spol. s r.o. and then was carried assessment, how the selected manager functions in this company function. Based on the facts found were suggested some changes that could contribute to improvement, and thus to making the entire corporate activity more efficient.

Business culture is represented by ordinary staff, their relationship to each other and their relationship to their bosses and it is also represented by the amount of company{\crq}s goals they identify themselves with. This thesis aims to analyze the business culture of a particular company and to make suggestions to improve the existing state-of-the-art. The partial aim of the thesis is to compare the level of business culture of a chosen company with another competing company{\crq}s level of business culture and to define the key domains that enable us to implement higher level of business culture in the company more effectively. The company to get analyzed is a building company that specializes in power industry devices building-up. The deep staff and business culture survey that took place among the staff and was evaluated afterwards was the basis of information for making matter-of-fact conclusions which was the final objective of the thesis.

The topic of this diploma thesis "Customer oriented organizational structure" deals with matrix organizational structure within multinational corporation. At the beginning the author first listed and characterized main theoretical terms. Afterward, the professional experiences were described using questionnaire and interview as survey methods. The author then analysed effectiveness of current matrix structures as well as of its transformations. The final part is proposing optimal scheme of matrix structure for corporations with appropriate guidelines.
Economical aspects of organizing music events in municipal monuments

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe various way of organizing music events in historical objects and monuments. The first volume is focused on the issue of local and regional culture and cultural. Next part brings the theoretical manual how to organize and handle with music events at all but especially with music events in historical objects. The third part, which is focused on the practical way, presents "Haydn music festival" and "Music in the synagogues of the pilsner region" from this point of view. The last part summarizes the research focused on experience and satisfaction of visitors of music events.

Ve své práci jsem se zaměřila na vnitřní organizaci nadnárodních společností působících v regionu střední a východní Evropy. Hlavním cílem mé práce bylo otestovat hypotézu, zda se tento region z hlediska organizace liší od ostatních regionů, zejména západní Evropy. Tato hypotéze byla potvrzena a ověřena případovou studií analyzující belgickou pivovarnickou skupinu InBev.
