Negative Electrode for Sodium-ion batteries
Šimek, Antonín ; Jaššo, Kamil (referee) ; Libich, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis contains general introduction to the issue of batteries, their basic principles and distribution. It is mainly focused on the research of electrode materials for negative electrodes of sodium-ion batteries, which do not use lithium for their function. Thesis is also focused on lithium-ion batteries, because their development is closely linked to sodium-ion batteries. The practical part mainly contains the synthesis and characteristics of sodium metatitanate, which is used as active material in negative electrode mass.
Evaluation Of Temperature Influence on Lithium-ion Battery Properties
Zachová, Zuzana ; Libich, Jiří (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with monitoring of the influence of temperature on the properties of lithium-ion batteries, especially on the safety and capacity of selected batteries. Chapters 1 and 2 contain a literature review on the subject, describing electrochemical energy sources, especially secondary accumulators, mainly lithium-ion cells. Furthermore, the safety and degradation processes of lithium-ion batteries are discussed and the third chapter describes the design of experiments, realization and outputs of these experiments.
Electrochemical Properties of Lithium-Ion battery under Elevated Temperature
Kulíková, Barbora ; Chladil, Ladislav (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with a monitoring of the temperature influence on Li-ion batteries, literature search of this topic and proposal of experiments. First chapter contains the theory of evolution and fundamentals of the Li-ion batteries. Planned experiments with flow charts and block diagrams are described in the second chapter. The work station is explained along with a description of the execution of the experiments in the third chapter. The experiments are analyzed and results explained in the last chapter.
Electrotechnical equipment of electric transport machinery
Václavík, Lukáš ; Balabán, Bedřich (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This work is meant as overview of current technologies and trends in electromobils and hybrid vehicles. This work is divided in four parts first deal with components setting in vehicles and summarising differences, second part focus on components as electromotor, accumulators, third part focus on charging and refiling fuels and fourth deal with possibility of spreading charging stations in Czech Republic.
Technická a ekonomická komparace automobilu s elektrickým a spalovacím motorem
MATĚJKA, Jan
This master thesis is focused on the comparison of electric drive and drive with an internal combustion engine. The literary overview shows the history and beginnings of the first attempts to create a vehicle with an electric energy. This all goes back to the half of 19th century. In this thesis are also included types of electric engines which are used in drives. Great attention is focused on the several types of accumulators and their charging. The last chapter in the theoretical part is dedicated to the ecological aspect of commission and the production of electric energy which is used to the drive of the electric car. The second, practical, part deals with two levels. Concretely with the technical part where are compared the on-road performance, comfort, noise and functionality of the BMW i3 and Renault Clio. Another economical part which is focused mainly on the operating costs and the affordability of vehicles which were tested.
Technologies for electricity storage
Novák, Adam ; Lisý, Martin (referee) ; Škorpík, Jiří (advisor)
This project deals with description of individual ways of electric energy accumulation. Accumulation itself becomes an essential part of the electricity grid due to rising electricity fluctuations from renewable sources and uneven consumption from users. For each technology, the principle of functioning and the advantages or disadvantages are explained. Based on this informations, it is specified suitable application. At the end, the state-of-the-art technology and modern equipment for storing electricity are presented.
Negative Electrode for Lithium-Ion Batteries
Libich, Jiří ; Vanýsek, Petr (referee) ; Straková Fedorková, Andrea (referee) ; Vondrák, Jiří (advisor)
The dissertation thesis deals with investigation of electrode materials for Lithium-ion batteries. The main aim of investigation was focused to materials for negative electrode of Litihum-ion batteries. These negative electrode materials operate on intercalation principle. Object of interest are carbonaceous materials, especially their graphite forms. Graphite plays host role in lithium ion – graphite interactions that provides LiC6 compound. As a result of that investigation can be considered improving of graphite materials from stability, irreversible capacity and other parameters points of view. This kind of investigation takes an important part in field of elementary investigation work engaged to the next generation of Lithium-ion batteries. The work also describes the fire safety issue of Lithium-ion batteries along with compatibility of negative electrode materials and aprotic electrolytes.
Power-accumulation from renewable energy sources
Kratochvíl, Tomáš ; Pavlů, Jaroslav (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on problem of accumulating electric energy from renewable resources. The first section describes renewable energy sources, which are possible to use in the Czech Republic and principles of accumulating electric energy. In the following section are suggested systems of accumulating energy to accumulators by compressed air and pumped storage power station. These systems are proposed for uniform power supply from photovoltaic power station to electric power network all day. In conclusion, the suggested systems are compared from economic-technical perspective.
Accumulation of electricity from renewable sources
Špičák, Ladislav ; Kohout, Přemysl (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis is specialized on problems of electrical energy accumulation from renewable resources. This renewable resources used in Czech Republic are described in the first part. Next, in the second chapter is identification with principles of electrical energy accumulation. In the third part, there is a proposal of electrical energy accumulation system which makes a supply of electrical energy from photovoltaic system by the help of accumulation system in compressed air equally. In the final part, there is a total analysis of technical economic aspect for proposed system.
Accumulation of electricity from renewable sources
Dědek, Dušan ; Pavlů, Jaroslav (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This work is specialized on problems accumulation electricity power from renewable sources and production electricity power from renewable sources for select object. First part describes renewable sources and their use in our conditions. Second part is specialized on accumulators specific for renewable sources. Third part compare to production electricity power from photovoltaic power station and windy power station and their combination for select object. Further accumulation these select sources. Final fourth part describe about their comparison from position how of technical so economic.
