Cajun French: mirror of the past, of the present and of the future

The thesis seeks to give an overall image concerning the linguistic situation of Cajun French of Louisiana. This regional variant of French is spoken by a minority group of speakers in this state. Given that the paper was created in the Czech academic community where Cajun French is virtually unknown, it tries to spark more interest in this topic. The first chapter presents the theoretical input to the outlined problem and Czech works dealing with Cajun French. The second chapter shows the basic facts about Louisiana, as well as the key events in its history. It examines the creation of Cajun French and characterizes its specific features. It also includes a mention of Cajun French reference books. The third chapter examines the legal status of the French language in Louisiana. Furthermore, the work sheds light on its French language policy, carried out mainly by a state agency called CODOFIL (the abbreviation comes from Council for the Development of French in Louisiana).The thesis later explains what the adherence to Francophonie would mean for this state. This is followed by an account of the relations entertained with Francophonie. Project analysis selected on the basis of multi-criterial decision

documentation. I decided to help solve this problém for one Czech company in the implementation of a specific project. Elements, that could affect the success of the project, are many. However, by using different models it is possible to try minimize some impacts of known risks. In manufacturing project, which especially focuses on custom projects, there is an essential part of the decision whether to accept not to accept the project. This company primarily endeavor to maximize profits, the project must be interesting. In the first part of this thesis I examine this problem. In the second part I do the project analysis, which was selected on the basis of multi-criteria evaluation of alternatives. Finally, this whole thesis is implemented into the reality and the company works with it.

Sloup - Residential Zone Design

Bachelor thesis focuses on north part of Sloup village, the main target is to design residential area. Site plan and site plan of road signs were designed for each of four variants. The crosssections fit to all variants which were designed. Two variants were chosen as the best ones, based on multicriteria evaluation. The more detailed site plan, longitudinal profile were processed for the two best variants.

Study of Hrušovany's Rail Wye

Study of Hrušovany's Rail Wye deals with design of a direct link between the railway stations Brno central station and Znojmo. So that trains do not drive into the railway station Hrusovany Jevišovkou. The clutch should be faster and more efficient connection between stations. It will single-railway line. I designed a total of 7 variant, of which I am solve two best.

Optimalization of venders selection process in CHART Ferox, a. s.

The target of the bachelor thesis is to find the optimal vendor for the transportation and for the creation of the goods packing. For this research will be used multicriterial analysis methods, which should serve as an outline for choosing future contractors. The aim of the thesis is to explain basic principles of the analysis, introduce its individual methods and to interpret its usage in practice. First will be compiled the order of the criteria and afterwards the order of the vendors.

Simplified Study of Feasibility of a chosen Plan

Work processes simplified feasibility study based on methodology of MRR for photovoltaic project on the roof of a factory hall, where they will consume the electricity produced. The work is processed variability of the development of legislative change, contingent upon conditions (for 2010 Act No. 180/2005 Coll., 2011 an amendment to this Act). Based on the results we can say that the change of these conditions occurs, in particular to extend the return on such investment.

Unit Trust Evaluation in Light of Multiple-Criteria Decision Making

The target of this work is to evaluate the unit trusts in light of the multiple-criteria decision making. The unit trusts are divided into the groups according to the investor categories: unit trusts with conservative, balanced and aggressive portfolio. The unit trusts were lined up by the medium of the multiple-criteria decision making methods (PRIAM, ORESTE, MAPPAC) and it is also made an analysis why have each of the methods chosen the particular unit trust in the group as the best compromise variant.

Choice of internet connection

My thesis is about choice of internet connection. In my paper I focus on application methods of multicriterial evaluation of alternatives (VHV) on different types of internet connection. In my paper I want to compare different types of VHV and I want to say if they are convenient or not to use them in choice of internet connection. In this paper I compare different tariffs of internet connection and different types of internet connections between each other. For comparison I chose ADSL connection, connection trough cable TV and wireless connection. In comparison I used next methods: lexicographical method, ORESTE, WSA, TOPSIS and ELECTRE III. For internet connection is the best to use connection trough cable TV, second is ADSL connection and the worst is wireless connection. Lexicographical method is not very good for choice of internet connection. It is usable only in special cases. Other methods are acceptable for choice of internet connection.
