A study of liquids behavior in rotating vessel
Tuhý, Marek ; Šedivý, Dominik (referee) ; Fialová, Simona (advisor)
The presented bachelor thesis deals with the study of liquids behaviour in rotating vessel. The aims of the thesis are theoretical analysis and recherche of the behaviour of liquids in a rotating vessel, design and construction of an experiment, its implementation and evaluation. The hydrostatic knowledge was found in the theoretical part, the practical part was placed in the laboratory of fluid engineering on the assembled experimental track.
Pulse flow of liquid in flexible tube
Komoráš, Miroslav ; Šedivý, Dominik (referee) ; Klas, Roman (advisor)
This master’s thesis is dealing with analysis of fluid flow pulse in a flexible tube representing e.g. an artery in a human body. In ANSYS program, 3D simulations were performed, and these are so-called interrelated FSI analysis. In Maple software, 1D simulations of fluid flow in the tube were performed for various thin-walled and thick-walled variants. The aim is using these programs to determine the flow rates and pressures in the tube, its wall deformation and stress. Therefore, the theoretical part deals mainly with basic equations of flow dynamics, linear and nonlinear models and rotationally symmetric vessels. In the computational part are described individual procedures in the mentioned programs.
Sensor for low-speed continuous motion sensing
Tomášek, Petr ; Slavík,, Lubomír (referee) ; Fiala, Pavel (advisor)
Diploma thesis analyses low-speed flow measurement. Thesis consist of 4 chapters. First chapter is about liquids and its attributes, flow meters, especially induction flow meter, which is very important for designed sensor. In second chapter is detailed process of designing sensor. Description of realization and measurement of flow is in the third chapter. Result summary is in conclusion.
Temperature control in the liquid thermostat using Atmel ATmega328 microcontroller
Hanulík, René ; Šandera, Josef (referee) ; Adámek, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis familiarizes reader with the issues of temperature control and measurement in the enviroment of liquid thermostat. Thesis describes some kinds of temperature sensors, their physical principes and choices of using them. There is also described properties of ATmega328 controller and communication resources. This thesis deals with implementation of bath thermostat controller unit and describes his software equipment together with PC controlling application.
Vehicle Hydropneumatic Suspension
Koudelka, Roman ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
The main task of this bachelor’s thesis is introduction of readers with main principles of hydropneumatic suspension. The introductory part, which aims to outline the historical background of the system, continuously follows the description of the principle of its function. This part also contains the typical features of this suspension system. This type of suspension is used at different types of vehicles, the specific applications are mentioned in the next chapter. The last section is about designing suspension for special military vehicle.
Stanovení teplotních závislostí motocyklových olejů
Ondrášek, Petr
This thesis deals with the determination of temperature dependence of motorcycle oils. A review of literature contains knowledge of fluid mechanics, partition information, use, appropriate selection and analysis of lubricants including their production and historical development. It is also characterized by a chapter dealing with the recycling of lubricants, including legal claims needed to be placed on the market. There is also a chapter on the lubricating circuit of motorcycles. The practical part of the detailed specification used oil samples, including technical parameters motorcycles from which they were taken. The data needed for evaluation was obtained by measurement with a rotary viscometer DV2T and apparatus for measuring the density Densito 30 PX. The values so obtained were graphically using Microsoft Excel 2010 for application of a suitable mathematical model.
Use of available resources for the experimental measurements of the dynamics of bubbles and microbubbles
Spalová, Karolína ; Vondrášek, David (advisor) ; Bažant, Filip (referee)
Title: Use available resources to experimental measurements of the dynamics of bubbles and microbubbles. Objective: Find out available devicesfor use in simple experiments observing the dynamics of bubbles or microbubbles. Methods: Literature review of decompression theory and related. Mathematics and theoretical methods for determining the critical bubble size. Endsure the available devices. Using simple experiment to measure the bubbles size. Collect of value and analysis. Results: Available devices used for simple experiment in laboratory conditions. During the experiment, it was possible to observe the dynamics of bubbles in mascroscopic size. For the measurement of microbubbles in the critical areas of growth is need to use device with a higher magnification. Keywords: Press, liquid, air bubble, scuba diving, decompression.
Self-excited and forced pulsations of liquid in axisymmetric domain
Skopalová, Kristýna ; Habán, Vladimír (referee) ; Pochylý, František (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the determination of the self-excited and forced pulsation of the real fluid in the cylindrical area and in the annulus. It also focuses on a case of resonance that has an unfavorable effect on the hydraulic circuit. The result of the thesis is the analytical relations for determination of self-excited and forced shapes of flow and pressure in the closed cylindrical area, for two selected variants of kinematic excitation. In the first variant, excitation is performed in the form of a sinus function. The second variant is expressed as a sawtooth function. A pulsation of the fluid caused by the movement of the body is described for the annulus. Further, in this area, the shapes of fluid pulsation are solved without external excitation.
Analysis of Tube Bulging Process
Zdráhala, Radim ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the behavior of the thin-walled tubular test specimen during the technological test of the liquid draining of the tubes. The test specimen ‘in the form a tube was made of austenitic stainless steel 17 240 (1.4301, X5CrNi18-10). During the experiment, the radial expanding tool was quasi-statically charged by the internal fluid pressure. In the introductory part, the thesis focuses on the stress-strain description of the method of tube bulging and possible ways of detecting the strain of material during forming. The experimental part is primarily focused on the analysis of the test sample that was obtained from the experiment. Theoretical approaches were used to analyze the real test sample to detect strain and stress in material, numerical simulation of the bulge process and 3D ATOS scanning device, which helped clarify behavior tube during bulging process. At the end of the thesis is proposed possible design of the tool. This modification should contribute in the future to the full functionality of the radial expanding tool, or the bulging of the tube by liquid.
