Detection of QRS complex in experimental ECG data
Brandejs, Jakub ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Vítek, Martin (advisor)
In this paper, called Bachelor thesis, I proposed a QRS complex detector based on wavelet transformation where biorthogonal wavelet bior1.5 was applied with use of Matlab. The detector works with antisymmetry of the wavelet to detect minimum/maximum or maximum/minimum pairs and singularity between them. Results of this detector were evaluated on the CSE database. The detector was reworked to be able to detect experimental QRS complexes.

Hlaváčová, Kristýna ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Kozumplík, Jiří (advisor)
In this thesis deals with detection of heart sounds in signal. In first half of thesis is discussed anatomy, physiology of cardiovascular system and issue of heart sounds. Afterwards, devices for evalution phonocardigram signals and their analysis are described. Thereafter the work focuseson the algorithm for detection of the first and second heart sound, which was implemented in the MATLAB R2014a environment. In conclusion, there is a summary of the proposed method and statistic evaluation.

Monitoring Trends of Electrical Activity of the Heart Using Time-Frequency Decomposition
Čáp, Martin ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Provazník, Ivo (advisor)
Work is aimed at the time-frequency decomposition of a signal application for monitoring the EKG trend progression. Goal is to create algorithm which would watch changes in the ST segment in EKG recording and its realization in the Matlab program. Analyzed is substance of the origin of EKG and its measuring. For trend calculations after reading the signal is necessary to preprocess the signal, it consists of filtration and detection of necessary points of EKG signal. For taking apart, also filtration and measuring the signal is used wavelet transformation. Source of the data is biomedicine database Physionet. As an outcome of the algorithm are drawn ST segment trends for three recordings from three different patients and its comparison with reference method of ST qualification. For qualification of the heart stability, as a system, where designed methods watching differences in position of the maximal value in two-zone spectrum and the Poincare mapping method. Realized method is attached to this thesis.
Analysis of acoustic and electromagnetic emission signals
Boudný, Petr ; Káňa, Ladislav (referee) ; Sadovský, Petr (advisor)
Master´s thesis is focused to analyse the acoustic and electomagnetic emission signals. These signals generate external power applied on the material. This power put there plastic deformation and create cracks. Spectral analyse show that signals are non-stationary. Wavelet transformation was used to spectral analyse which informate about time-frequence vaules of the signal.
QRS detection based on wavelet transform
Zedníček, Vlastimil ; Ronzhina, Marina (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with implementation of detector QRS complex with use of wavelet transform. The first part is focused on formation and possibility to measure cardiac activity. The other part of thesis we will familiarise with the different possibilities of detection QRS complex and we intimately focus on wavelet transform that will be used for a project of detection QRS complex. The practical part of thesis focuses on the project of detector in programming language Matlab and his different setting. This projected detector has been tested with CSE database. Achieved results of projected detector are evaluated with the results of others authors.

Wearable ECG Measurement System
Trenz, Tomáš ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Červenka, Vladimír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the measurement of ECG data. The main theme is digital filtering desired signals from noise and artifacts, which arises mainly to interfere with the power grid, moving the measured entity or electromagnetic interference. A secondary objective is the issue of compression for data transmission.
Detection of QRS complexes in ECG signals
Zhorný, Lukáš ; Ronzhina, Marina (referee) ; Kozumplík, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the detection of QRS complexes from electrocardiograms using time-frequency analysis. Detection procedures are based on wavelet and Stockwell transform. The theoretical part describes the basics of electrocardiography, then introduces common approaches to time-frequency analysis, such as short-time Fourier transform (STFT), wavelet transform and Stockwell transform. These algorithms were tested on a set of electrograms from the MIT-BIH and CSE-MO1 arrhythmia database. For the CSE database worked best the method based on the wavelet transform with the filter bank Symlet4, with the resulting value of sensitivity 100 % and positive predictivity 99.86%. For the MIT database had the best performance the detector using the Stockwell transform with values of sensitivity 99.54% and positive predictivity 99.68%. The results were compared with the values of other authors mentioned in the text.
Wavelet transform based object detector
Mikuš, Ondřej ; Průša, Zdeněk (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with applying methods on object detection in image. Separation of objects off the background is often needed during the image processing. It isolates the region of interest that can be worked with. The main purpose of this paper is the explanation of principles of pre-processing and segmentation of image, resulting in object detection using the wavelet transformation. This wavelet transformation is described more in detail, because it is the base of the primary used method. In the practical part of this thesis the main method was implemented to MATLAB environment and tested on set of images. The method was tested for robustness against noise and blur of image. It was compared with commonly used methods, using the edge detectors and thresholding. A simulation program was created for comparison of methods efficiency, including user interface.
