Analysis of selected processes of student society
Petrásek, Matěj ; Trčka, Adam (advisor) ; Molnár, Zdeněk (referee)
The thesis is aimed on the analysis of the selected processes of the student society -- Všehrd. The introductory theoretical part in second chapter is substantial. It compiles the basic institutions and it gives the opportunity to understand the topic even to nonqualified reader. The general principles and the modeling concept, modified for the lack of background for the current process model, are the essential part of this introduction. The third chapter is dedicated to analysis of the present and future of Všehrd. The process models are based on this analysis. The process models -- basic, hierarchy and selected key process -- are fourth chapter of the thesis. In the fifth chapter SW tools for the support of designed process models are discussed. The sixth chapter is dedicated to verification of the process analysis results based on the interview with Všehrd's members. And the designed process models are confronted with the similar student organization AIESEC ČZU in the seventh chapter of the thesis. The purpose of the thesis is to introduce the possibilities of the process modeling to the student organizations and to set the fundamentals for the implementation of designed process models and for the future complex analysis of Všehrd.
Process model of manufacturing company
Kuběna, Lubomír ; Řepa, Václav (advisor) ; Pálka, Jan (referee)
This thesis deals with process modeling respectively application specific modeling methodology developed by prof. Ing. Václav Řepa Csc. for the selected company active in manufacturing. The main objective and part of the thesis forms creation of process model. It's preceded by introductory description of the selected company and its global long-term goals set by management, SWOT analysis revealing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, on the basis of which is elaborated a strategy to exploit opportunities for the development of strengths. Before analyzing the processes and the design of process model Balanced Scorecard analysis is realized. Within its four perspectives, I propose and summarize the identified targets, along with their metrics, current and desired state. Further it's followed by process analysis and elaboration of process models to global (Eriksson-Penker model) and detailed (BPMN notation) level. Models have added the descriptive tables and description and main points of the design are summarized in the end. The main objective of work is followed by others, represented by the comparison of designed model and current situation in company, where is implemented quality management system ISO 9001:2000 (comparing similarities and differences, problems of quality system, etc.) and assessment of enviromental maturity of the company and its functioning from process perspective, using the knowledge model Michael Hammer PEMM (Process & Enterprise Maturity Model). Information obtained from the analysis and designs are put into context with each other to ensure consistency of whole design and my thesis and summarized in Chapter Conclusion.
Automated support of web development process with emphasis on SEO
Hejl, Zdeněk ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Kafka, Daniel (referee)
Principal aim of this thesis is the design of new website development process model and the design and implementation of its automated support by information technologies instruments. Process design itself will be build on identified best practices of available methodics for web applications development and this process will also respect and apply SEO (Search Engine Optimization) principles Biggest contribution of this thesis is designed web application development process model which is based on web application development methodics best practices and also contains additional activities which have to be done but they aren't part of these methodics. Mapping of the optimization process and designed process activities and implementation of automated support for these activities via desktop application are next important contributions of this thesis. This thesis is divided into five main chapters (except introduction and conclusion). First chapter is focused on definition of application development basic concepts and mainly on analysis of web application development methodics. Second chapter takes up analysis outputs and it forms the basis of this thesis. Design and description of web development process model generate the content of this chapter. Third chapter deals with SEO problems, in the concrete, it deals with definition of SEO, presentation of optimization process and especially with presentation of optimization recommendations. Fourth and fifth chapters are focused on automated support for web development process model with emphasis on SEO. Within the scope of fourth chapter, process model activities which can be supported by application are identified and user requirements are defined for these activities. Last fifth chapter is focused on presentation of implemented application for web development with emphasis on SEO support.
Analysis and development of IS/ICT solution for project Sanace dluhů in the Czech republic
Kaltoun, Jan ; Chlapek, Dušan (advisor) ; Komínek, Stanislav (referee)
This paper describes the analysis and development of IS/ICT for the project Sanace dluhů in the Czech republic which is being realised by The Association for Probation and Mediation in Justice in cooperation with Czech Probation and Mediation Service and Swiss association VEBO. The goal of this project was to design and realize the IS/ICT support for project Sanace dluhů. In order to meet this goal many activities had to be performed such as designing the architecture of the information system, programming the IASW and the creation of documentation and training of future users. The first part of this paper describes the process of choosing the methodology and continues with more detailed description of the chosen methodology and with the description of how the methodology was adapted to fit the project. In this part there are also mentioned the agile techniques and models used during the analysis. In the next chapter the author describes and documents the analysis of clients' requests and the present state. Following chapters describe among other topics the design of the final solution, selected topics dealing with the application development and with the process of delivery of the developed solution to end-users. This part of the paper also discusses the future possibilities of extending the application. Author's contribution lies in performing the activities specified by the chosen methodology and in presentation of their outputs. In the process of creation of this paper the author understood the project Sanace dluhů, thoroughly analysed the requests for its IS/ICT support, reacted on the changes in requests and created a product based on these requests that fulfills clients' vision. Author then put the product into operation considering both hardware and software and trained its users.
