Optimization models for resource allocation
Franěk, Jiří ; Šeda, Miloš (referee) ; Kůdela, Jakub (advisor)
The thesis presents an overview of the issue of resource allocation optimization and construction processing of two models for the given example describing an engineering production company. The first of the created models, which was conceived as deterministic, was transformed into a stochastic one using different demand scenarios. The solution of the models itself was implemented in the Julia programming language using available optimization libraries. An analysis of the solution including its graphic representation was carried out and a production plan for the company was successfully created.
Production planning in the company
Dubský, Jan ; Jurová, Marie (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the production planning in a selected company and the analysis of the planning processes in the information system. The first part is devoted to defining the relevant theoretical themes. In the next part company and its results are described, the next part contains an analysis of the production planning process. The analytical part further displays theory of constraints, that is used to determine weak point. Based on weak point, the suggestion part describes implementation project of the new information system so that the weak point is eliminated.
Optimalizace logistických procesů ve sklářském průmyslu
Semaníková, Jana
This thesis deals with the deployment of stocks of finished products in a newly built warehouse of company Sklárny Moravia a.s. as to minimize the loading time of goods dispatched. Firstly was created the theoretical part, which covers theoretical background related to the topic of the thesis. In the introduction to the practical part were described the activities of the logistics department of the company and the warehouse. The main point of this work consists in choosing the appropriate optimization methods for deployment of inventory in the warehouse, calculating the access times to the individual warehouse positions and the establishment of a model proposing optimal deployment of inventory. The obtained results were drawn conclusions and recommendations were created.
iOS Client Interface for Production Scheduling System
Tomala, Tomáš ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create mobile application for iOS operating system, which will serve as an interface to access PlannerLoop service. The PlannerLoop production scheduling system targets mainly smaller manufacturing companies that cannot afford to invest large sums in automated production scheduling tools. The client application of this service ensures the acquisition of the necessary user data, which it processes and sends to the computing server provided by the service. The user entered operations are scheduled by the service and placed by the client application on a timeline in the schedule, where it is possible to manipulate the operations.
Advanced Techniques for Integer Optimization Problems
Liška, Ondřej ; Popela, Pavel (referee) ; Kůdela, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis deals with integer optimization on real data. Solved problem is production planning. Problem is descripted in first part of thesis. Next is obtained its optimization model. In second part are obtained solution methods for this problem. On the end are those methods compared in term of its solution quality.
Scheduling for 3D printers
Lenhart, Vojtěch ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Kůdela, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the problem of production planning in the context of 3D printing. It analyzes the current possibilities of software for scheduling for 3D printers and focuses on other restrictive production conditions such as entering production on a printer, refilling material or time to remove the finished product from the printing area. The next part of the work deals with the development of a console application in C # for scheduling for 3D printers. It describes the methods that were used to design the software and their problems in terms of time and computational complexity. The results of all methods are properly compared and evaluated.
Logistic system animation for production facilities
Mařata, Michal ; Hromková, Ivana (referee) ; Simeonov, Simeon (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is Logistic Systém Animation for Production Facilities. Animation planning of production gets posibility of more atractive, faster understanding of timing production line. The result of the thesis is classic program for Windows, written in C#. For better functionality of 3D visualization is addedd HelixToolkit library. The other result is web application written with JavaScript library Three.js. In Web Application is enabled to load 3D model of own factory (*.ifc file), loading other 3D models, changing their position and saving changes to the database (MS Excel, MS Access). During the animation is enabled to make changes (as speed, skipping steps).
Optimalizace plánování výroby ve společnosti SWN Moravia s.r.o.
Šabatková, Šárka
Šabatková, Š. Optimisation of production planning it the company SWN Moravia s.r.o. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2017. The subject of this diploma thesis is practical application of operations research and network analysis methods in terms of specific company. The main objective of this thesis is to optimize the planning of production processes in order to streamline and shorten the processing time of the orders. The theoretical part is focused on production management, evidence and planning. It also includes methods of operations research and characteristics of the graph theory, network analysis and supporting software. In the practical part is compiled a mathematical model as edge-rated network graph. This model is solved in program WinQSB and MS Project using the Critical Path Method further complemented by the cost analysis with CPM/COST method. In the conclusion, there is critical evaluation of the usefulness of provided results.
Optimalizace výroby pekárenského podniku
Hlahůlková, Šárka
Hlahůlková, Š. Optimization of bakery production. Bachelor’s thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2018. The bachelor’s thesis deals with optimization of bakery production through the use of suitable software. The aim of the thesis is to propose a solution for the optimal structure of the production plan, which also takes into account the limited possibilities of the company, in particular, the device capacity, maximum acceptable costs and artificially selected maximum and minimum quantity of production. The first part describes the problems of operational research and other basic characteristics related to the topic of the thesis. Then, the company itself is introduced. The practical part describes the problem and its basic features. Subsequently, a model is created to find the optimal amount of production. In the conclusion, the results obtained are summarized and recommended for application.
Introduction to Six Sigma Method and its Application for Process Improvements
Joska, Jakub ; Žák, Libor (referee) ; Bednář, Josef (advisor)
First part of the thesis deals with the description of Six sigma method and its most commonly used methodology DMAIC. The second part is a brief introduction of specific practical problem - electroforming. The third part describes the statistical tools used to solve the given task, especially the Pearson's chi-squared test of independence. The last part of the thesis contains a summary of data, calculation itself and data analysis results.
