Analysis of the heat utilisation from biogas stations for heating
Kareš, Martin ; Lisá, Hana (referee) ; Milčák, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the use of heat from biogas stations. The first part describes the production of biogas, its combustion efficiency and the development of energy production thus obtained. In the second part it deals with individual solutions of the application of heat produced and in the last chapter it analyses the balance of the specific solution of heat transfer and its impact on the environment.
Využití odpadního tepla z bioplynové stanice pro zemědělské účely
DUFEK, Daniel
The bachelor thesis deals with utilization for waste heat, which arises during cooling of cogeneration units of biogas plant. It is a concept for technology which is able to consume some of the waste heat. In this case, it is a proposal for a complete recirculating aquaculture system for African catfish breeding, financial analysis and return of investment.
Bio-gas plant heat utilisation effectivity analysis
Šmarda, Marek ; Frič, Ondřej (referee) ; Pavlas, Martin (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the analysis of heat efficiency and effectiveness of the Vojtěchov biogas station unit. The material balances were developed in connection with biogas created in the cogeneration unit. The heat produced by the cogeneration unit is distributed to reactors and drying rooms. Pursuing the main goal of the thesis, the research of the complete heating balance for all months has been conducted. Additionally, a variety of options were assessed, to find the best solution of how to increase the effectivity of the heat. As for the final solution, two recommendations have been proposed in the thesis. The first recommendation lies in a better usage of low-level heat distributed to the secondary fermentor. The second suggestion deals with the amount of heat from cogeneration unit to the system. The result of the analysis is the final recommendation on how to increase the efficiency of the heat usage and potential impacts of the solution on the subsidy according to the KVET standards received in the given year.
Pěstování Silphium perfoliatum L. pro energetické účely a hodnocení produkčních schopností
MALINA, David
The subject of this study is "Cultivation of Silphium perfoliatum L. for energy purposes and evaluation of production capacities". One of the most important renewable energy sources is the energy of phytomass. Recently there has been a significant development of the cultivation of energy plants, as a raw material for biogas production in biogas stations in the conditions of the Czech Republic is mainly a maize. Cultivation of maize is in many ways undesirable. It carries with environmental problems associated, for example, with water erosion. One of the ways to solve these problems is to replace maize with other plants suitable for these purposes. A possible alternative is the cultivation of multi-annual energy plants. One of them is also the Silphium perfoliatum L., which is sporadically cultivated in the Czech Republic. The aim of this study is to evaluate the production capabilities of the Silphium perfoliatum L. and to evaluate the possibilities of his introduction as an alternative in the cultivation of maize sets.
The impact of realization investment on company management
Dlouhá, Lucie ; Kozáková, Petra (advisor) ; Pevná, Jana (referee)
The subject of the thesis is evaluation of a biogas station activity and its impact on the entire economy. The theoretical part describes the basics of biogas station functioning and legislation to construct and operate biogas station. Then it focuses on investment theory where basic methods of evaluation of economy efficiency and chosen ratio indexes of financial analysis for company´s evaluation are summerized. In practical part, the methods analyzed in the theoretical part are employed for specific details found in AGROSPOL STARÝ PELHŘIMOV Inc. The outcome of the thesis is a complex summary of impacts of a biogas station construction. Key words: biogas plant, company´s economy, economic efficiency of investment.
Design of Biogas Cleaning Technology
Šrámek, Zbyněk ; Milčák, Pavel (referee) ; Milčák, Pavel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
Thesis aims to design suitable technology for biogas treatment so that its output can be used as a fully equivalent fuel for vehicles. First part introduces reader into an area of biogas treatment. Second part describes in detail chosen method, technology of membrain separation. In third part, current conditions in Czech republic were discussed. Fourth part adresses the aplication of membrane technology into existing biogas station via side-standing reaserch container. The end of the thesis is focused on selection and proper desing of blower, which will be transporting raw biogas from biogas fermenters into research container.
Energy use of biomass
Musilová, Petra ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
The objective of this bachelor’s thesis is a research study of biomass use in energy industry with main focus on electric energy production. This thesis primarily concerns with biomass properties, biomass processing technologies and the application of such technologies in the Czech Republic. The first part of this work consists of biomass definition and its division. The next part deals with biomass energetic properties and following is a familiarization with cogeneration (the combined use of heat and power to create electricity). Furthermore this thesis analyses individual technologies used in electricity production. The last part focuses on heating plants, power stations and biogas plants, which use biomass and on charting these specific units in the Czech Republic.
Increasing of electricity production in BGS using ORC cycle
Beck, Michal ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
Objective of this Master’s thesis is to make search about generation and use biogas, with focus on cogeneration and to make search about possibilities of increasing the share of production of electricity by cogeneration from biogas. This final work has also the task to summarize possibilities of increasing the share with ORC cycle and to evaluate pros and cons of this use. Main part of this work is dealing with own design of increasing production of electricity with cogeneration from biogas in biogas station with ORC cycle and comparing this modification with steam engine.
Energy balance of biomass heating plant
Žmolík, Václav ; Šen, Hugo (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This thesis deals with a design of a biomass heating plant combinating a Rankin-Clausius cyklus and a CHP unit. The CHP unit fuel is a biogas and the boiler fuel is a wooden chip. The adapted CHP unit regenerates feed-water of the R-C cycles. This design is technicaly and economicalty compared with the Rankin-Clausius cycle without feed-water regeneration by the CHP unit.
Losses in a pipe line because of the flow of mixed substratums
Vlasák, Bohdan ; Beňo, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pěček, Jan (advisor)
Introductory part of this thesis is aimed on theoretical description, principle and building of biogas stations, which require solution of many different problems. A specific group of the problems concern transport of mixed substrates of different concentrations both in and outside the area of biogas station. A major part of the substrate transport is done by pumping it in pressure pipeline. Experimental work consists of design and description of a measuring circuit. Graphic characteristics for water and gas loss levels are drawn from the measured readings. Multiples of pressure losses by flowage of substrates with different levels of dry basis are graphically expressed with a help of correction coefficients.
