Turning tools
Václavek, Jiří ; Sámelová, Vendula (referee) ; Humár, Anton (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with turning tools and compares domestic and foreign companies' products. The turning is generally described with basic formulas in the first part of the thesis. The second part is aimed on tools, categories of tools and materials which they are made of. In conclusion, there is comparsion of several tools from domestic and foreign producers.
Solution technology of part from three-phase alternator
Pokladník, Robert ; Zouhar, Jan (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This Diploma thesis deals with design technology of alternator claw pole. The technology is designed to achieve low production costs. The purpose is to prevent the transfer of manufacturing contract to countries with cheap manpower and low production costs. Technology design is done by selecting billets to the processing and economic evaluation. The dominant technology is a cutting operation that is performed on numerically controlled machines.
Verification Technology of Pressure Valve Body
Majer, Lukáš ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis is about verification defined machining time what were set by department of technology in company IMI CCI Brno. In work will be compared defined time, real time and theoretic time, what will be calculated. Theoretical time will includes new technology process where will be make proposal to change some tools.
Influence of coatings on durability of cutting inserts during longitudinal turning
Balíček, Martin ; Sámelová, Vendula (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the influence of deposited coatings for durability and tool wear during longitudinal turning of steel CSN 41 1600 (E335) and influence of wear and surface quality. The theoretical part is focused on characteristics of turning technology, application, manufacturing and methods of coating cemented carbide and tool wear. The experimental part of the thesis includes the evaluation of the measured values, a description of the material, used tools and machine tool. The values measured in the experiment imply that the most suitable of the tested tool inserts is WNMG 3-1-NF with applied coating TiAlN + TiN. Surface quality decreases with increasing wear of the tool.
Programming CNC machines with digital control system Fanuc.
Tkáčová, Alena ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The theme of this bachelor thesis focuses on the CNC-programming, which is currently used in many branches of the machine industry. The theme is elaborated and divided into well-arranged chapters. The first part deals with the development of the control system of cutting machines, beginning with the hard automatization and ending with the computer-controlled cutting machines. In the second part there is described the general control system Fanuc including the machine description. The third part contains the application of the real cutting procedure - with the NC program for turning and milling of the sample component in a certain company.
Testing of cutting parameters for UMCo50 machining
Jakubec, Thomas ; Kolomý, Štěpán (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the machinability of materials, the theoretical part describes the factors that have a dominant influence on machinability. The basic aspects according to which the machinability of the material and the wear of the tool are determined are also given here. The distribution of cobalt alloys is given here, including the UMCo-50 alloy, which is the subject of experimental research. It is an alloy for high-temperature use with good abrasion resistance and is used especially where other materials lose their mechanical properties due to the high temperature. The practical part followed the thesis of my colleague Ing. Peter Prno [1], which due to lack of time could not measure all the necessary quantities, resp. course of back wear for the remaining two cutting speeds. During the experiment, the wear of the tool back was monitored as a function of time at different cutting speeds in turning technology. The main goal was to determine the resulting tool life at the remaining cutting speeds and thus obtain a more accurate Taylor dependence. The turning forces, the quality of the machined surface and the formation of chips were also monitored during turning.
Production of grinding roller driveshaft
Vencl, Petr ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with production of grinding roller driveshaft in Bühler CZ s.r.o. in Žamberk. In the first part the attention is focused on analysis of current technology. Following chapters of thesis are focused on innovations to existing production technology, for example a technological test, CNC programming realization, machine times calculations or creating of technical documentation to ensure production of rotating part. The last chapter of the thesis focuses on economical assessment.
Machining technology of electromotor spigots and base in the production control system
Tollrian, Zdeněk ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The current processing of electric motor feet and centering collars has been focusing on two main production methods. The production transfer from Germany allowed the introduction of a new enhanced technology. Cutting conditions values, cutting process operating forces , tool life criteria for a maximum productivity and a minimum costs were calculated. Control measurements of the required collar and stator pack concentricity provided the necessary feedback.
Effective turning tools
Kutil, Jaroslav ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Humár, Anton (advisor)
This thesis is focused on high-performance turning tools. The first part deals with the characterization of turning, including basic kinematic relations. In the second part the division of tools and a the description of tool materials are introduced. The last part is centred on the assortment comparison of selected producers of tools in the field of construction.
Analysis and Visualization of NC Code
Konečný, Michal ; Čermák, Martin (referee) ; Koutný, Jiří (advisor)
This project deals with NC tooling visualization and NC code analysis problems. Implementation`s solutions for tooling`s techniques and tools are described in the project . Here visualization`s solution of the tooling`s proces are described, for this OpenGL library si used. In this work problems, we encoutered during work on this project, are analyzed.
