Realistic Smoke Animation

This work makes basic analysis of historical and current algorithms for smoke animation. Modern approaches to rendering volumetric data are briefly described. We choose algorithms for implementation on basis of this analysis. These algorithms are described in detail and we make emphasis on their important properties according to dedication of this work. Detailed description of implementation follows along with performance measurement. Conclusion evaluates results of work and proposes possible extensions.

Multiple Document Type Diff

During the work on important projects, we have to backup current versions periodically. But sometimes we want to know what changes between two versions has been made. To recognize these changes, we can use the diff program that compares two text files line by line and can show differencies in various formats. A problem occurs, if we want to compare other than text files. The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to create one tool that can compare different types of files, for example images, Open Office files, DTP system LaTeX files, config files and, of course, standard text files. Each of listed types is specific and demands unique approach. This thesis deals with theoretical analysis of the problem and also with realization of the program which executes the comparision.

Software na podporu tvorby prezentáciía študijného textu pomocou Smart-notes

This thesis deals with the smart-notes writing method and how to use it in writing academic texts. Today's applications that support the zettlekasten method do not yet provide suitable solutions that allow the user to quickly and efficiently turn notes into a complete text. This thesis addresses this problem by designing and implementing a tool that allows users to compose texts from notes. The implementation results in a plugin for the Obsidian application that allows text to be compiled from notes and displayed in markdown and LaTeX formats.

This bachelor thesis deals with methods of embedding mathematical expressions into the web page, maps the available tools and methods for embedding these expressions and evaluates them according to the chosen criteria. The thesis also includes an insight into the history of related key technologies. Finally, it recommends suitable methods for practice.

Blender Add-on for Generation of 3D Mathematical Equations

This bachelor's thesis aims to create a Blender add-on, which makes the creation of 3D mathematical equations easier for users. Unlike alternative solutions, equations consist of individual editable text objects. The input data are entered in the mathematical notation of the Latex language. They are later analyzed using lexical and syntax analysis. When no faults are found, the specified mathematical equation is generated in a 3D environment. The final add-on is functional with the support of main Latex commands and is intended for public use.

Návrh a implementace parametrické sbírky a generátoru matematických úloh

This project deals with design and following implementation of parametric collection containing parametrized mathematical problems and problem generator, which derives the structure of individual problems from the mentioned collection. The final outcome is a simple application capable of generating set of tests for chosen number of students based on the configuration of test established by the user. The resulting tests are composed of same type problems, while differing in numerical values and can be exported to PDF format.

Reactive powder concretes (RPC) with polymer latexes

This thesis deals with the effect of polymeric latexes on the properties of concrete based on reactive powders. Three types of commercial latexes were used for the preparation of the samples, namely Revacryl, Duvilax and Plextol. Revacryl AE 2091 is an aqueous dispersion of styrene-acrylate copolymer with a high content of solids. Duvilax BD-20 is a homopolymer polyvinyl acetate dispersion that does not contain fillers with plasticizers. Plextol X 4002 is an aqueous, self-setting acrylic emulsion with a high content of solids. These latexes were added to the samples at concentrations of 0,20; 0,40; 0,60; 1,20 and 2,50 %. To determine the effect of latex on processability, the flow rate of the fresh mixture was measured. The main objective was to determine the ballistic resistance of modified concretes based on reactive powders. The DOP test was used for the determination. Furthermore, the change in mechanical properties was determined by adding a polymer to concrete based on reactive powders. The improvement in properties is expected to be due to the formation of a polymer film and a polymer-cement co-matrix. To demonstrate the film formation, the microstructure of the samples was observed by a raster electron microscope.
