Design of switching laboratory source
Moravec, Pavel ; Klein, Richard (referee) ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (advisor)
In present days there is no scientific laboratory without quality, adjustable and powerful source of voltage and current. Therefore this thesis is focused on creating such power source, which can provide voltage and current high enough for most of experiments or for development electrical devices or parts, which are not connected to power grid. This power source is able to provide symmetric voltage 30 V and current 6 A high in each branch. It is possible to control this power source remotely thanks for USB interface, which is standard equipment of majority of modern devices in these days. LCD display is part of this source, which shows the user set and real parameters at the output as well.
Digitally controlled linear power supply
Mikulka, Martin ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the design and realization of laboratory power supply with digital control. The power supply contains two separate galvanically isolated channels with output parameters in ranges of 0 - 24 V and 0 - 5 A. Output parameters are controllable independently via front panel or remote control. This power supply allows user to connect other channels meeting the condition of galvanic isolation and communication via the I2C interface. The content of this work is a theoretical analysis of the design of linear regulators, design with practical implementation and subsequent measurement.
Lab power supply 0-100 V / 0-100 mA
Hanzl, Ondřej ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Martiš, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of a laboratory source of atypical parameters of the voltage range 0 – 100 V and current 0 – 100 mA, which will be used for testing LEDs, measuring the reverse voltage and characteristics of Zener diodes of unknown data. The power supply will operate in linear mode, where the output part make up a power unipolar transistor controlled by a controlled bipolar transistor. The control section controlling this output stage is a closed control loop with two PI controllers, a differential amplifier and a controlled limiter. In the control circuit, the controllers are arranged in a cascade structure, where the voltage regulator is superior to the current one. Power supply is provided by 2 transformers, one for the power part and the other for the control part. All designed and assembled components will be then placed in a box equipped with a digital measuring device with display.
Digitally controlled laboratory power supply
Spáčil, Petr ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the divison and research of DC voltage sources. It also describes how linear and switch mode power supply works. The 8-bit ATmega16 microcontroller from the ATMEL family of AVR microcontrollers is further described. Part of this bachelor thesis is the desing of the laboratory power supply source 30V / 3A, which is in the topology of switched pre-regulation. The ATmega 16 microcontroller provides measurement and displaying values on the display.
Switching benchtop power supply 0-30 V, 0-5 A
Galia, Jan ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Martiš, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and construction of switching mode power supply for lab application. Convertor is based on the forward topology with adjustable output voltage regulation from 0 to 30V and with maximal output current 5A. Antoher features of this power supply is adjustable current limiting function which can be set from 0 to 5A. For closed loop control was chose analogue cascade regulation. The contol part consists of operation amplifire TL072 and SG3525 contorl circuit.
Design and construction of double laboratory power supply
Klein, Miroslav ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This semester thesis deals with design of double laboratory DC power supply with adjustable voltage and current limitation. Power supply can work in two states. First state allows regulation of output voltage from 0V to 40V and current limitation from 0A to 3A. In second state the range of output voltage is from 0V to 18V and output current can be set from 0A to 6A. Both supplies are galvanically separated and can work independently, or can be combined. Whole power supply is digitally controlled by microcontroller.
Laboraty Pulse Power Supply Using Output Linear Stabilization
Lednický, Marek ; Dušek, Martin (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with switched mode power supplies. The theoretic part of the thesis consists of historical development and the elementary schemes of switched mode power supplies. It also includes the comparing with linear regulators. Next, it contains the description of individuals parts switched mode power supplies as a rectifiers, power supplies and stabilizers. There is a proposal and fixing of laboratory pulse power supply using output linear stabilization in the practical part of the paper.
Laboratory power supply
Tománek, Radek ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
Paper compares several types of power supply from the point of view of output parameter, engineering solution and applied potentiality. Analysis of methods used in power supplies are followed with multipurpose power supply design. Last part includes example of measuring performed with designed power supply.

Two-quadrant regulated power supply for laboratory purposes
Kalus, Jiří ; Vorel, Pavel (referee) ; Knobloch, Jan (advisor)
The main goal of the bachelor´s thesis is a suggestion of switching power supply with energy absorption for the case of two-quadrant load. The source includes of three parts: the power for the control circuit, single-converter and absorber of the recovered energy. Output power source is 400 W and output voltage 0 to 40 V, current +10 / - 10 A. This bachelor´s thesis deals with the first half of the circuit description and the second part there are analysis and the suggestion. Scheme and printed circuit cards are in attachment.
