Diversity and distribution of scorpions (Arahnida: Scorpiones)
Plíšková, Jana ; Šťáhlavský, František (advisor) ; Kůrka, Antonín (referee)
This thesis is devoted to species diversity and biogeography of Scorpiones order. Bachelor work is presenting basic problems of this area and major split in higher classification of scorpions, which is still not firmly defined. In the work is also provided an overview of the current 15 families, to whom is the scorpions order divided by classification proposed by Soleglad & Fet (2003), including their distribution, the number of families and species they cover. Factors which had or still have an impact on the expansion of scorpions are also discussed. Described factors, which affects the distribution and diversity of scorpions, are: continental drift and Quaternary climate change (historical aspects) and temperature, parthenogenesis and human factor (environmental aspects). These factors influenced the biogeography of scorpions at different taxonomic levels, in different evolution time scale and on differently sized territories.
Draft methodology for investigating the causes of aviation accidents caused by human factor in general aviation
Pulgret, Lukáš ; Chlebek, Jiří (referee) ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (advisor)
This Master´s thesis examines Investigation of aircraft accidents / incidents, which were caused by human error. My thesis is focused on fixed wing aircrafts with maximum take off weight up to 2500 kg. Practices of Aircraft accident / incident Investigation are described in Annex L13 which is document published by Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic. This document provides some support for investigators but does not contain methodology which should be used to discover human error by which the accident / incident was caused. This thesis has two major purposes. First purpose is to analyze Final reports of investigations and suggest improvements which can be made. Second goal of this thesis is to create own methodology for investigating the causes of aviation accidents / incidents caused by human factor.
Managing Risk when Implementing Changes
Anca, Marek ; Urbánek, Michal (referee) ; Kruliš, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis put its focus on dealing with risk management issues during the implementation of changes in a particular company with a focus on the human factor. The literature research is devoted to a professional description of topics related to the research issues of this diploma thesis. The following part describes the methods that were used to achieve the goal of the thesis. The next part distinguish the analysis of the current situation of the company, the design of measures that would minimize most of the risk factors and processes of the company. The last part presents a project for which risks are identified and possible measures are proposed in order to increase the probability of success.
Manifestations of Behavioural Accounting in Agriculture
LENCOVÁ, Kristýna
The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis and identification of the manifestations of behavioral accounting inside an agricultural establishment. The enterprise "Agro Liblice, s. r. o." was chosen as the object of this thesis. The behavioral approach will be analyzed in the area of subsidies that the enterprise is a receiver of. The thesis deals with the process of obtaining subsidies, as well as the relationship between the enterprise and the subsidiess and the accounting of investment subsidies.

Increasing landing maneuver safety
Zedníček, Václav ; Hammer, Jaromír (referee) ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (advisor)
Diploma thesis concerns methodology, safety and common pilot’s mistakes in phase of landing. It concludes statistics and landing accident reports of airplanes with maximum take-off weight of 5700 kg. It also concerns method of height estimating above ground. It describes usable systems for landing aid and suggests its own technical solutions for safety improvements based on poll.
Risk Analysis and Evaluation in a Transporting and Haulage Firm
Čegan, Tomáš ; Máša, Votěch (referee) ; Adamec, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with an analysis and evaluation of risk in the freight transport company – Doprava Vícha s. r. o. The thesis describes the current situation in a freight transport industry, an applicable legislation, and risk analysis methods FMEA and WHAT-IF. Further the thesis analyses risks of a freight transportation and describes the company Doprava Vícha s. r. o. in detail. The thesis proposes a set of actions in order to minimize identified risks. The handbook with most important actions and advices for drivers is attached.
Diagnostic of Systems with a Human Operator
Havlíková, Marie ; Malec, Zdeněk (advisor)
The doctoral thesis is thematically focused to human operator systems significantly contributing to this system reliability and safety. The theoretical part of the thesis is concerned with human activities and communications in MMS system, valuation and estimation of human reliability probability in MSS. The important part of the thesis is also a description of human operator neuromuscular system as an executive powerful system on MMS system regulating activities and the summary of human driver models in compensative lateral car control. The practical part of the doctoral thesis is based on analyses created by experimental data of drives. Experimental drives were done on drivers set following different backgrounds and different sleep deprivation at whole day. All experimental data was realized from the cooperation and following the agreement of Faculty of Transportation Science research centre on Prague ČVUT. Another part of thesis includes driver simulation model proposals with nonlinear components for lateral car control. Simulation model drives are compared with real drives or drivers on drive-simulator and there are monitored identical and different dynamic movement characteristics. The main target of doctoral thesis is to detect and obtain significant dynamical drive experience characteristics based on experimental data analyses. As well to found drive characters variability owing to driver’s fatigue and determinated evaluated characteristics changes. Acquired results of thesis should help in assistant systems that in cooperation with other components alert to micro-sleep and run off drive possibility.
Effect of the human factor on small aircraft accident
Dluhoš, Jakub ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (referee) ; Chlebek, Jiří (advisor)
DLUHOS, J. Effect of the human factor on small aircraft accident. Brno: Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, 2013. 90 s. Supervisor Ing. Jiří Chlebek, Ph.D. The Master’s thesis focuses on the safety of civil aviation, which is in 80% of the accidents caused by Human Factor, Human Error or just Pilot Error. The main goal of this Master’s thesis is evaluation and assessment of the causes of aircraft accidents of general civil aviations operations of the Czech Republic. In the practical part of the Master’s thesis were analyzed accidents of aircrafts in the category with maximum take of mass to 2250 kg and ultra light aircrafts incurred in the Czech Republic from 2006 to 2012. In the conclusion were analyzed main causes of the aircraft accidents and were proposed further measures to reduced accidents caused by Human Factor.
