Buildings for education - energy and indoor environment
Čišecký, Ladislav ; Adam, Pavel (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with evaluation of indoor environment of a school complex in atypical Himalayan alpine environment which is totally dependent on energy originating from renewable sources. Structural design of buildings allows maximum utilization of solar energy which is the only one actually available source of energy in this area. The buildings are de-scribed in detail, as well as measurement conducted in buildings during the last year. The out-comes of measurements are compared with desired values. The thesis is also focused on math-ematical simulations by using BSim software. The output of a building energy simulations is an energy use prediction and design of appropriate measures to improve the current situation.

Energy efficient mountain chalet
Hartman, František ; Vlach, František (referee) ; Bečkovský, David (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with project energy efficient mountain chalet. The building is located in the Krkonoše national park, near by highest Czech mountain named Sněžka. Object is located on plot number 899 in the cadastral Pec pod Sněžkou, on the site of the initial ,,Giant” chalet. The aim of this thesis is proposal of energy efficient mountain chalet in extreme climate conditions, such as in the mountain area, at the elevation 1378 m. Proposal of the chalet emphasis is on achieving maximum energy self-sufficiency. The building consists of two objects SO 01 and SO 02 interconnected by the roof. The total built-up area is 191.39 square meters. The accommodation capacity is 20 people.

Backup power supply with solar panel charging
Křepela, Pavel ; Götthans, Tomáš (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This project aims to create a backup power source with solar charging for small mobile devices (through USB connector). The charger should store power in a battery that is charged either from external power source or the solar panel. In the introduction, the work deals with the theory of solar cells and batteries. Furthermore, it described the selection of suitable components and design diagram.

Quantification of energy contribution of solar system control unit
Míčková, Petra ; Mišurec, Jiří (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this work is to study the problems of solar energy and its use in solar systems. Furthermore, to become familiar with a particular solar system for hot water, especially with the principle of energy conversion and features individual components. It is designed and implemented measurement method to determine whether the control unit for the system is important, or would be better even without it.

Design of a photovoltaic system and its economic evaluation
Hausner, Josef ; Haluza, Miroslav (referee) ; Pěcha, Jiří (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis deals with design of the photovoltaic system on a roof of a prefabricated house. In the theoretical part the current technology of photovoltaic cells and panels is analyzed. The next part clarifies current legislative conditions in the Czech Republic. A photovoltaic system is designed in the practical part. In the last part, the project is economically evaluated using a method of the net present value and the internal rate of return.

Measuring station for the system of the remote energy supply
Dočekal, David ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Křivík, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the creation of measuring workplace for remote power supply system. This is the measuring of the workplace, engaged in the processing of measured data, the production of electrical energy made by a photovoltaic panel and wind turbines. In the theoretical part, the reader is familiar with the issue of renewable energy sources. The first chapter is about the energy of the wind. Here is described the emergence of the wind, the basic division of wind power, through the production of electrical energy to the measurement itself. The second chapter deals with the solar energy. This chapter describes the emergence of the solar energy, photoelectric effect, description of characteristic features and related evaluation of the photovoltaic panel. The reader learns the basic distribution photovoltaic panels here and their manufacturing. The third chapter is devoted to measurement methods and specifying the basic conditions for the evaluation of the operation of wind turbines and photovoltaic panel. In the fourth chapter describes the basic data on individual facilities, which have been selected for this thesis and the involvement of the measuring site. There is also included wind power JPT-100 photovoltaic panels A-130 anemometer TX20ETH, pyranometer SG420 and temperature sensor PT100. Measuring software is described in the fifth chapter. In the last chapter, contains the experimental measurements in the selected time interval and the actual evaluation.
