Uncertainty of indirect resistance measurement
Beneděla, Pavel ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with the issues regarding the measurement uncertainty, followed up by its measurement uncertainty evaluation. The emphasis is particularly put on the indirect resistance measurement issues. The solution possibilities are illustratively shown on a few examples using the Agilent 34401A, Metra DU20 and Metex 3890D devices and based on results from those examples, the uncertainties of the indirect resistance measurement are assessed.
Position Improvement Using Differential GPS
Košťál, Jaroslav ; Hrubý, Martin (referee) ; Novotný, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis describes techniques of precision of a position using a differential GPS. The theoretical part provides with basic terminology on classical and differential GPS and with a blueprint for implementation of the differential GPS. The aim of the practical part is the implementation of the blueprint per se using two suitable GPS modules with data processing on the station in real time and creation of a graphical interface. The final determining of the position should be more accurate than one using a classical GPS.
Calibration of pressure gauges
Schwarz, Jakub ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Vdoleček, František (advisor)
This diploma thesis is dealing with pressure measurement. It describes instruments dedicated to purpose - pressure gauges. Basic of correct pressure measurement is knowledge of behaviour of used pressure gauge. This knowledge is acquired by calibration. With calibration is associated also analysis of errors and uncertainty of measurement and creation of calibration list. Calibration takes place on model workspace pressure measuring in laboratory.
Time Domain Measurements of Oscillators’ Frequency Stability
Háněl, Petr ; Matějka,, Štěpán (referee) ; Baran, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis focuses on measurements of oscillators’ frequency stability. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts of measurement of frequency, measuring systems and measurement errors. The second part of thesis describes the design of measurement system. The design contains all data for build prototype and software, including all source codes.
Uncertainties of measurements of the dynamic viscosity
Januš, Petr ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
The thesis is deal with measuring the temperature dependence of dynamic viscosity and the calculation of measurement uncertainties. The thesis writes up the physical nature of viscosity and rheological properties. Next it is write up an overview of possible methods for measuring viscosity of liquids and overview of methods for measuring the density of liquids. An important chapter is the statistical evaluation of measured data represented mainly measurement uncertainties. In the practical part of the work is done workplace for measure the temperature dependence of dynamic viscosity. It is used two methods of measuring viscosity of liquids and two samples of liquids. Finally is done statistical evaluations of measurement. Based on the calculated measurement uncertainty measurement methods are compared.
The evaluation of accuracy and eligibility coordinate machines PIONEER DEA
Hrdlička, Martin ; Zahálka, Jiří (referee) ; Pernikář, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the accuracy and the qualification of coordinate measuring instrument Pioneer Dea. A target of the thesis is to represent measurement uncertainty using a method of International Vocabulary of Basis and General Terms in Metrology, and for the selected product to determine a qualification of the check process. The evaluation of the qualification of the measuring instrument is performed via method of coefficients cg and cgk. In addition there are calculated measurement uncertainty and via qualification indicator gpp the check process of the selected product is evaluated.
Data reconciliation and gross error detection
Nováček, Adam ; Šomplák, Radovan (referee) ; Touš, Michal (advisor)
Operational data are used for control and optimization of a process in industrial and energy plants are used. Data provided from measurement are affected by errors arising from uncertainty of measurement (imprecision of measuring instruments). Data reconciliation provides us more precise variables which give us the opportunity to better optimize and achieve higher economic gains. The objective of this bachelor's thesis was to study the issue of data reconciliation of measurement and gross error detection in measurement variables. This work is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical, describing measurement errors, solution methods for data reconciliation and statistical tests for gross error detection. The second part is a practical demonstration of data reconciliation on two examples. The results of reconciliation and the solution procedure are included. Complete procedure can be found in the Annex.
Measurement in Control
Kahánek, Tomáš ; Košíková, Jana (referee) ; Vdoleček, František (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor’s thesis is to familiarize a reader with the basic regulation circuits structure, feedback structure and measurement technic. This document describes basic and advacend measurement inaccuracies, system influences including methods of reduction this unwanted influences, which mostly influence the regulation results.
Basic Physical Practice Coursebook
MITTASCH, Marek
The diploma thesis presents basic concepts of measuring, physical quantities, units of measurement and Physics instruments. There are instructions how to realize the measuring in practice and an introduction of measuring deviation. There are examples showing processing of measured values including use of some Microsoft Excel functions.
Speed meassurement of the bullet in the physics practicum
SCHOBEROVÁ, Zdeňka
The main subject of this bachelor{\crq}s thesis is the laboratory measurement of an airgun bullet velocity. Elementary ideas of ballistics are theoretically discussed and, afterwards, two elementary measurement methods are described in detail and experimentally verified. First method is based on a couple of rotating discs and the second one is based on the energy conservation law of a ballistic pendulum. In the thesis there are presented both the description and the results of these measurements.
