Opravitelné systémy s částečnou opravou
Ševčík, Jaroslav
The construction and analysis of repair models is an important area in relaibility. A commonly used models are the perfect repair model and the minimal repair model. In the first case each repair restores the state of a failed system to a level equivalent to a new one, whereas in the second case the repair restores the state of the system to its level prior failure. However, both of these models seems to be inadequate to model most realistic repair strategies. Therefore, the repair lying somewhere between perfect and minimal repair is of great signification in practice. The contribution deals with such kind of repair, usually called partial or general repair. Various ways of modeling the impact of partial repairs on a system condition will be mentioned. One useful general model of partial repair will be described in detail and the estimation procedure of unknown parameters in this case will be examined.
Maximal likelihood estimates of capability indices and their properties
Michálek, Jiří
The report deals with a construction of maximal likelihood estimates of capability index Cp by different estimates of variability level and uses them for testing statistical hypotheses.

Modelling the time to failure and FTA
Boček, Pavel ; Salaba, Petr ; Volf, Petr ; Vrbenský, Karel
In he framework of the development the methodology for the reliability analysis and maintenance optimization the distribution of the time to failure has been modelled in different situations and results supported by simulation studies. Further, the Fault tree analysis (FTA) module accessible through the Web has been developed and tested.
Stochastická simulace deformací textilních materiálů jako výplní v kompozitech
Tunák, M. ; Linka, A. ; Volf, Petr
A method for modeling and random generation of deformations and breaks in textile materials is developed. It considers both the breaking strengths of fibers and the structure of the fabrics. The MCMC procedure is used for the dynamic generation of breaks. Comparison with real strength-stress curves is made.
Statistický model snížení doby do poruchy způsobeného náhodným šokem
Volf, Petr
We consider a time-to-failure of a technical object or system and a special model of its abrupt degradation caused by a random shock. It is assumed that the consequence of such an event is the shift of 'virtual' age of the object forward, i.e. the reduction of its survival time. We present a method of statistical analysis of the case, maximum likelihood estimation and the consistency of the shift estimate under both parametric (e.g. Weibull) and non-parametrized models of time-to-failure. The examples deal with simulated as well as with the real-case.
How to interpret in the right way capability and performance indices of a manufacturing process
Michálek, Jiří
The paper deals with the question of capability and performance indices right understanding and shows some mistakes occurring in practice
Possibilities of the use of statistical methods in process control, implementation of modified Shewhart control charts in manufacture and services
Michálek, Jiří ; Křepela, J.
The contribution suggests a modification of classical Shewhart control charts in the cases when the assuptions for application of classical charts is not fulfilled
