Particle Polymer Composite in structural details of the building envelope
Dostálová, Darina ; Lavický, Miloš (referee) ; Vokoun,, David (referee) ; Matějka, Libor (advisor)
Due to a European energy concept for reducing energy consumption and also the concept of sustainable development, there is a growing demand for reduced energy consumption during the operation of the building and hence increasing demands on the thermal and mechanical properties of the building envelope. For this reason, it is necessary to look for materials that could meet both thermal and mechanical properties, as well as mechanical resistance and loadability, especially for the application for the foundations of the house, the base of the house and for application to structural details for elimination of the thermal bridges between interior and exterior boundaries. The main motivation for choosing the topic of thesis was to find materials derived from recycled or secondary raw materials that would be suitable for manufacturing composite applicable for structural details in the envelope of the building and for insulating in humid environment. An economic and environmental aspect plays an important role in the choice of material. The main theme of the thesis is the laboratory manufacturing of a composite with a thermoplastic matrix derived from recycled plastic materials and waste foam as a phase. Has been developed a unique Waste-based Particle Polymer Composite (WPPC) made from recycled foam and polypropylene. However, before WPPC can be reliably used by construction designers, physical properties of WPPC must be accurately identified. Therefore, it was designed laboratory manufacturing system and sample testing system, it was studied thermal, mechanical, thermomechanical and moisture absorptivity of WPPC. Application of finished composite material with satisfying thermal insulation properties to structural details to eliminate the thermal bridge, was the next step. These are details of the unloaded, prefabricated balconies, windows, atics, as well as basement constructions and the heel of the central load-bearing wall, the terrain flooring and the staircase wall
Design of Reinforced Concrete Structure of Residential Building
Bodor, Andrej ; Strnad, Jiří (referee) ; Požár, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the design and assessment of the reinforced concrete floor structure and selected load-bearing structural elements of the apartment building. The design and calculation of internal forces was developed using SCIA Engineer 21.1 and subsequently compared with the manual calculation. Selected structural elements were designed and assessed for sound insulation and thermal bridge breaks. The design of the structures followed the applicable European standards EN 1992-1-1 and EN 73 1201. The final output is the elaborated drawing documentation.
Zhodnocení efektivity a návrh konstrukčního řešení pasivních domů z hlediska energetické a finanční náročnosti při použití materiálů dostupných na evropském trhu
PAVEL, Michal
The topic of the diploma thesis is an evaluation of the efficiency and a proposal of the construction solution of passive houses in term of energy and financial demands using materials available on the European market. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first one consists of a literature research, which provides the necessary information not only about the passive standard as such, but also about the principles associated with its construction. The second contains a practical part, where a database of the most important details for each material variant is created, together with their workflows, individual summaries and price comparisons. The result of this work is an evaluation of the efficiency of self-help construction of passive houses.
Assessment of Reinforced Concrete Elements
Pecháček, Martin ; Šulák, Pavel (referee) ; Švaříčková, Ivana (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is the analysis of internal forces design and assessment of the reinforced concrete loadbearing elements. Staircase, floor slab and window header of a detached house with supporting masonry walls are designed in the thesis. In the project of the floor slab the occur of a thermal bridge is taken into account. To prevention of thermal bridge are used systematic elements. To analysis internal forces on the structure Finite Element Method in the SCIA Engineer 19.1 software is used. The results of selected sections and selected load combinations are verified by method of replacement beams. Internal forces on the staircase are calculated by method of replacement beams.
Apartment building – selected design elements
Doupovec, Vojtěch ; Požár, Michal (referee) ; Perla, Jan (advisor)
The first part of the bachelor's thesis deals with the design of selected load-bearing elements of an apartment building, it is a balcony console, a prefabricated staircase and a ceiling structure above a typical floor. The second part is devoted to the assessment of the masonry walls of the building. The output is drawings of the shape and reinforcement of these load-bearing elements. The calculations were performed using SCIA Engineer 19.1, IDEA StatiCa and Microsoft Excel. The drawing documentation was processed by CAD software AutoCAD 2018 with graphic superstructure RECOC.

Construction details of buildings evaluation from energy demand point of view
Císař, Milan ; Šikula, Ondřej (referee) ; Adam, Pavel (advisor)
Theoretical part of Diploma thesis deals with issues about thermal bridges and thermal connections in building structures. The Calculating part focused on the family houses with a low heat use. The results of this part are energy and financial evaluations of family house. The last part deals with the using of computer technology in engineering practice. These chapters devote about computer modeling an assembly details of passive house and family house after reconstruction (the dates of family house after reconstruction are compared with the results from experimental measurements). The last section of this Diploma thesis solves dynamic modelling of particular passive house in simulation program called Trnsys.
Diagnostics and proposal to eliminate thermal bridges buildings
Bravenec, David ; Janík, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kalousek, Miloš (advisor)
This thesis presents a comparison of building materials for vertical bearing structures of buildings, thermal insulation materials and mutual combination of structural materials and insulators. Furthermore, there are possibilities for solving the most common insulation thermal bridges construction. The paper evaluated the pros and cons of different combinations of building materials. Teplo and Area programs were used for the calculations.
Eliminate structural thermal brigdes
Tůma, Pavel ; Bažant, Zdeněk (referee) ; Perla, Jan (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with the ways of eliminating thermal bridges in overhanging concrete structures using ISO-beams. The first part of the thesis presents a list of producers who provide ISO-beams in the Czech Republic, a comparison of products according to the transfer of internal forces, and the complete product list of ISO-beams by Schöck GmbH. The second part deals with the calculation of internal forces of particular balconies and design reinforcement.
