Production design of gas analyzer body using Direct metal laser sintering method

This master’s thesis deals with the possibility of manufacturing gas analyzer by Rapid Prototyping Technology and it with the method Direct Metal Laser Sintering. The theoretical part describes the current production of component in the Frentech Aerospace LLC and innovation with the DMSL method in the company Innomia Furthermore JSC. Then an analysis of the principle of single methods Rapid Prototyping, especially the method of Direct Metal Laser Sintering, is implemented. The aim of the experimental part is to compare the mechanical properties and material structures, conventional metallurgy and powder metallurgy. The thesis also contains a technical-economic evaluation comparing the manufacture of mechanical part by conventional and advanced additive technology.

The Pulse discharge welding applications and weld analysis

Theoretical part of this bachelor's thesis contains overview information about special welding technology, which uses capacitor discharging. Pracitcal part is about experimental attempts showing the application of the theory of welding using capacitor welder with specific settings, preparation and rating samples. Microstructure of the samples was evaluated by standard metallographic techniques.

The Influence of Heat Treatment on the Structure and Mechanical Properties of Tool Steels

This bachelor thesis deals with the properties of tool steels after heat treatment. The theoretical part describes the properties of iron and its alloys with carbon, and an overview of the use of steel. It is also discussed in detail the heat treatment of tool steels and manufacturing process analysis and metallographic sample. In the last part of the bachelor thesis there are described the mechanical testing of metals. In the practical part it is tested structure and mechanical properties of the selected tool steels for two types of heat treatment and the results are compared with the requirements imposed on it.
