Thermal effects in machine tools
Fikejsl, Ondřej ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is specialized search dealing with thermal effects in machine tools and then their compensation. This work is divided into three main parts. First part explains the basic terms and temperature sensors that can be used to measure thermal errors. Second part deals with the thermal influences acting on machine tool, as well as the methods of their compensation. Last part analyzes the specific part of the machine tool including the examples from the manufacturers and their methods of preventing the above-mentioned thermal effects.
Visual Language of Controllers and Communicators of Czechoslovak Machine Tools in 1947-1990
Fridrichová, Eva ; Hulák, Jiří (referee) ; Jelenčík, Branislav (referee) ; Rajlich, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the development of graphical symbols on the control panels of machine tools made by Czech factories TOS from the years 1947–1990. The aim is description genesis graphics controllers and communicators of machine tools and their inclusion in the context of the development of graphic design. As well as determine the influence of design in area of operational graphics. This area has not yet been subjected to closer examination and in terms of consistency of the historical aspects of the Czech graphic is benefit to the future.
Machine tools safety
Holczer, Aleš ; Blecha, Radim (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
This thesis contains an overview of safety requirements and standarts by European Parliament and Council in field of machine tools. The other chapter is about harmonized standards of machine tools. Safety requirements are shown on chosen machine tool - radial drill.
Machine tools safety
Böhm, Jakub ; Blecha, Radim (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
This thesis contains an overview of safety requirements and standards by the European Par-liament and Council in the field of machine tools. The second chapter concerns harmonisati-on standards in the area of safety, its explanation and integration into the legal system. Safe-ty requirements are shown on EDM system.
Method for Energy Efficience Simulation of Machine Tools in Design Stage
Tůma, Jiří ; Demeč, Peter (referee) ; Suchánek, Rostislav (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
Ph.D. thesis is focused on the design of the method for simulation of energy demands of machine tool in operation at the stage of its development. Proposed method is developer on the basis of literature search in science and in industry. The method itself is composed of five related steps, that must be realised in the proper order in order to create a relevant energy profile of a machine tool. The output from the method are simulated data providing a course of comsumed energy and required power which are time dependent. Output data are obtained on the basis of the drive system simulation of machine tool through G-code, that is interpreted for simulation by the compiler into the matrix. It contains data necessary for controlling of machine tool, such as the required end points of the tool and required feed rates, to which is assigned a time value. G-code is partially time parametrized. It is then followed by full time parametrization through a of mathematical model of drive mechanisms and due the synergy of software for drive mechanisms control (Matlab Simulink) and software for physical simulation (MSC Adams) is processed into output data. As an input parameter figures also coefficient used as multiplier of the normal force of driving mechanisms, which is a function of feed rate. This loss function is obtained experimantally. In the context of Ph.D. thesis were conducted two experiments, used to verify the developed method. For each experiment is proceeded according to estabilished method and it is included a comparsion of simulation and measured data for various operating modes. The proposed method, described in the Ph.D. thesis, allows designers to summarize the energy demand of the proposed machine before its production. When correctly interpreted, the results of the method can serve as a basis for improving the energy profile and thereby increasing the energy efficiency of the machine tool.
Design of drilling arm for machine-tool
Štancl, Dominik ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and deformation analysis of the real construction, which is a complement to the machine tool. The introductory part is devoted to the theory of drilling technology and extension of machine tool possibilities for this method of machining. The next section contains the design of the drill arm and the subsequent analysis in ANSYS to verify that the structure fulfill the requirements. At the end, the effect of changing the dimensions of the arm on the resulting rigidity and its functionality is assessed.
Desig of Surface grinding Machine
Bajková, Eva ; Jelenčík, Branislav (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on a conceptual design of a surface grinding machine. Aim of this work is to analyze current products and create a new design and ergonomic proposal. Result of this work is a concept of a surface grinding machine, that is defined by its progressive form and intuitive operation. The thesis brings a vision and a new solution for a current machine tool design from an ergonomic and technical perspective.
Design of belt grinder
Polnický, Jan ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a belt grinder. The first chapter deals with the analysis of grinding technology and research of available belt grinders on the market. In the next section, several variants are described and the most suitable one is selected. The design part describes some details important for the working of the machine. The last part is about checking critical parts by using calculations.
Control of special purpose machine tool
Plocek, Jaroslav ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The master thesis treats the design of control system of special purpose machine tool. The first part analyzes and compares two possible variants of control system which use either a CNC control system Sinumerik or motion control system Simotion. Only the variant with the Simotion control system is subsequently examined in detail: its hardware configuration, the selection of components and partly also the software solution. The thesis further deals with the safety of the realized control system and of the whole machine. There are described general safety requirements of machinery based on harmonized European standards and their specific application in the design of safety functions and the safety circuits of solved machine tool.
Support systems (frames, stands) in modern machine tool design
Horák, Jiří ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis has a character of recherche, and it is focused on a description of an actual state and construction of supporting systems and frames of machine tools. This thesis deals with the construction of machine centers. It also analysis adverse effects arising from the machining, that the machine frame must withstand to maintain sufficient precision. In the thesis, there are also some basic principles for the construction of support systems. The thesis also includes a recherche describing the most common design arrangements in the creation of machine tools, as well as the author’s observations on the possible development of the problem.
