Design of heating system for multifunctional building
Illichman, Petr ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis is divided into the theoretical part, the computational part and the project. Theoretical part consists of the basic description and the division of the fittings in a heating. In the computational part, I deal with heating proposal and a hot water preparation in the building of a multifunctional house st. Anny, located in Brno. The building has a four floors and the basement, commercial space, garages and apartments. The building designed with the gas condensing boiler and the indirect heating tank for domestic hot water use, the heating of the building is supplied the by plate and tube radiators. The project contains technical report and drawing documentation.
Thermal calculation in design of resistance and induction devices
Krčál, Vít ; Foral, Štěpán (referee) ; Lázničková, Ilona (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on thermal calculation of electric heating device and related theory. Selected topics in electric heating technology are explained, followed by the calculation in design of a crucible furnace and its automation using a computer program. The theoretical part first deals with the heat transfer mechanisms and their mathematical description. Further on, the thesis describes how heat is created in resistance and induction heating devices and mentions applications of these types of heating. The main part of the thesis focuses on the thermal calculation of the resistance crucible furnace for aluminium melting. The calculation relates to a cylinder-shaped model of the furnace with determined structure and deals mostly with heat loss, electric power input, thermal efficiency and design of heating elements. The calculation is achieved only in general and it is subsequently automated in Microsoft Office Excel® application. The computer program, which is also a part of the thesis, allows user to change input parameters and see how it affects results of the calculation. In the last chapter, an example of calculation for specific numeric data is presented. The main goal of the thesis is to automate the calculation. That can save some time while calculating and designing a crucible furnace.
Building Services in Low-energy Building
Fireš, Michal ; Tůmová, Eliška (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
The theme of my bachelor´s thesis is to analyse a building P4 of scientific and research center AdMaS (Advanced Materials, Structures and Technologies) in Brno and results compare with real values. The second part is heating proposal. Building P4 is composed of two side halls and stores, which are connected with central fourth-floor administrative building. The teoretical part is focud on nearly Zero Energy Building. The calculating part consists of heat loss calculating, heating elements design, hot water preparation and distribution of heating water. Heating elements are designed as panel and tubular. The part of project part is technical report, drawing documentation and the evaluation of present condition of building services.
Heating systems and heat distribution in apartment buildings
Rušín, Marek ; Formánek, Marian (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
Content of this diploma thesis is to describe functioning of heat meters, billing of measured values and aplication of this knowledge on existing building. Apartment building have five storeys and a basement. Every storey have two apartments. Design of a heating system is divided into two separete variants. First variant consist of two gas condensing boilers as source of heat and second variant consist of heat transfer station.
Design of heating system of office building
Klečka, Jaroslav ; Topič, Jan (referee) ; Horká, Lucie (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design and solution of the heating system in the Administrative Building in Brno. The work will be divided into three parts. The first part is theoretical, namely by comparing hydrogen fuel and natural gas. The second part will include the calculation and design part, in this part the work deals with the design of boiler room components, calculation of heat losses, etc. The third part means the design documentation of the construction, which will be processed at the level of the DPS (documentation of the execution of the construction).
Heating of flat house
Piętoňová, Sára ; Horká, Lucie (referee) ; Topič, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is the design of heating and hot water heating for an apartment building in Brno. The theoretical part of this thesis analyzes the principle of condensation and its effectiveness with regard to the conditions during which condensation takes place. It also deals with gas condensing boilers and their operation and efficiency in various connection methods. In this regard, it also solves different connections for hot water preparation and compares individual methods with each other. The conclusion of the theoretical part focuses on flue gas extraction and its effectiveness with regard to operation in the heating season and beyond. The calculation part documents the design and calculation of heat losses of the specified object. Subsequently, design of heating elements and assessment of individual devices and fittings that are part of the heating and hot water preparation system. The project part contains the graphic solution of the project, i.e. project documentation for the level of project implementation documentation. In the last part of the work there is also a technical report complete project documentation together with attachments.
Design of a heating system for a multifunctional house
Barták, Jiří ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is divided into the theoretical, computational and project part. In the theoretical part, I deal with the design and description of the ground - water heat pump for the object. In the computational part, I deal with the design of the heating system and a hot water preparation in the building of the multifunctional house Rezidence Chelčická in České Budějovice. The building has four floors. On the first floor there is a commercial premises with garages and on the remaining floors there are residential units. The building is designed with a water-ground heat pump, indirect heating tank for hot water preparation and heating of the building is provided by floor convectors, plate and pipe units. The last part of the project includes a technical report and drawings for the specified object.
Design of heating system of office building
Smetanková, Patrícia ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (referee) ; Horká, Lucie (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the design of the heating system and hot water heating for the office building of the office of the Brno-Líšeň Municipality. It is divided into three parts. The first theoretical part deals with a brief division and analysis of heat sources for buildings from economic side. The second calculation part deals with the design of the heating system in 2 variants. These consist of the design and calculations of heat losses, dimensioning of the heating system, preparation of hot water, design of the heat source and other components. In the first variant, the design of central heating is solved using the most commonly used panel heating elements. In the second variant, the design is solved using design tube radiators. The last part of the diploma thesis is devoted to the design and analysis of heat sources for heating, using the Energetika software. Their comparison from an economic point of view as well as from an ecological point of view.
Historic Interiors and the Speech of Materials
Cichrová, Kateřina ; Lukášová, Eva ; Ourodová-Hronková, Ludmila ; Tejml, Ladislav ; Troupová, Ivana ; Raichlová, Michaela ; Caran, René ; Němec, Luděk ; Čekalová, Antony Sylva ; Bukovjanová, Radka ; Pešek, Vít ; Soukup, Libor
The methodology is a continuation of the work of the team of authors titled Metodika tvorby interiérových instalací a reinstalací (Methodology for Interior Installation and Reinstallation Design), published by the National Heritage Institute in 2011 (ISBN 978-80-87104-86-6). Individual chapters deal in more detail with several phenomena that, in addition to their undeniable and sometimes essential aesthetic role, had a primarily practical purpose in historical interiors. Historic floors, heating elements or upholstery have their irreplaceable place in interiors and they objectively testify to important details of the contemporary lifestyle. With the language of the material they testify to the taste and practical needs of their owners and they are a tangible testimony not only to the technical skills but also to the level of aesthetic sensitivity of their creators. In individual chapters, the publication deals in detail with these phenomena and the impact of their quality on the integrity of the historic interior and its narrative value. One part also describes how to use modern 3D technologies to reconstruct the no longer existing phases of the historic interiors. As an example, the publication presents the reconstruction of two interiors from the Manětín and Veltrusy Castles. The publication mainly provides practical information and instructions on how to apply and implement the maximum respect for the authenticity of the monitored elements (floor covering, historic heaters, all upholstered elements) within the framework of the rehabilitation of historic interiors. The informations are given on the basis of practical examples of possible solutions and supplemented by a large number of illustrative illustrations.
