Office Building

The subject of the diploma thesis is the preparation of project documentation for the construction. It is a new administrative building in the city district of BrnoMedlánky on Purkyňova Street. The building is detached, underground and has one underground floor and three above-ground floors, finished with a flat roof, with a terrace on the third floor. On the underground floor there is a collective garage for 15 vehicles, including technical rooms for the operation of the building. On the ground floor, there is a security room and cloakroom, an archive and a lobby with a reception area located at the main entrance. They are connected by two corridors, a staircase area and a lift. In the left part of the building there is a rest room, sanitary facilities a meeting room and a cafeteria. On the right side of the ground floor there is a small office supply store, staff changing rooms, a print shop and a lecture room. The second and third floors are identical in layout, they are designed for two small companies On those floors there are cellular offices, rest rooms and sanitary facilities a room for a secretary and a director's office. The maximum number of employees on the second floor is 30, and 22 on the third floor. The building is designed as a monolithic reinforced concrete frame and is based on monolithic reinforced concrete footings. The infill perimeter masonry is made of Porotherm ceramic blocks. The ground floor partitions are made of plasterboard, fire-resistant laminated glass and Porotherm ceramic blocks. The partitions on the other floors are made of plasterboards of appropriate properties.
Mixed-use building

The main goal of the master thesis is to design and develop project documentation for the construction of a mixed-use building. The building is a part of blank space and is situated in the municipality of Pardubice in ulice Teplého on parcels n. 2108/17, 2108/7, 2108/3, 2834 a 4910. The mixed-use building is underbasemented and divided into five above-ground floors with flat vegetational roofs. There are a total of six administration spaces, a café and a hairdresser’s. There are also fifty-seven parking spots including bicycle stands in the covered parking lot located in the souterrain and the first floor. The fifth floor is designed as a united space with a kitchen. The building's entrance is situated on the south facade of the building. The object's construction system is combined with hardened walls. Vertical constructions are designed to consist of bruted bricked blocks and reinforced concrete monolithic constructions. Horizontal constructions also consist of reinforced concrete monolithic constructions. The substructure of the object is made of waterproof reinforced concrete construction also known as a "water tank". The whole structure is based on the piled baseplate.
Garden Centre Tilia

The thesis focuses on project documentation for a construction project with the aim to design a garden center with an administrative part that deals with the design of gardens. The building is situated in the outskirts of Nový Jičín. It is partly a one-story and partly a two-story building. The object lays on the slab foundations, vertical structures are made of ceramic blocks. The horizontal structures are made by prestressed Spiroll panels, due to the large spans. The building is covered by a vegetated flat roof. The exterior walls are solved with the ETICS system or with a ventilated facade made of wood or a green facade. On the 1st floor there is commercial area - 2 units intended for the sale of mainly indoor plants, decorations and goods for the home and garden. From both of these units, there is access to the outdoor sales area, where goods of larger dimensions are considered - outdoor trees, shrubs, outdoor plants. There is also a cafe and a florist studio. The florist studio is considering selling cut flowers, bouquets and decorations.In the central part of the 1st floor there is an atrium with a large skylight. The second floor is intended for a design office and a training room - designed for holding evening courses - garden architecture, flower arranging, tree cutting, etc.
Outpatient clinic in Chotěboř

The subject of this diploma thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for the construction of a civic amenity building for outpatient care, with associated establishments, namely a pharmacy and a café. The building is designed on a plot of land located in the center of the town of Chotěboř in the Havlíčkův Brod district. The polyclinic is designed as a partially basement, free-standing rectangular building with overhanging entrances to individual establishments. The outpatient department has three floors. Underground vertical structures are designed as reinforced concrete walls, above-ground peripheral and internal load-bearing masonry is made of ceramic blocks, ceiling structures are made of prestressed panels. A double-reinforced concrete monolithic staircase and an elevator are designed in the building. Non-load-bearing internal structures are solved using plasterboard structures and the whole building is covered with a single-skin flat vegetation roof.
Civic amenities building

The thesis deals with the design of a two-storey L-shaped smart building for amenities with a low energy consumption concept in mind. The ground floor will be used as a café and technical facilities. The second floor is designed for a small design office. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the architectural and structural design. The selected load-bearing system is a wall system made of Silka sand-lime blocks. The floor and roof are designed of prestressed reinforced concrete panels Spiroll. Stone wool is used as the main thermal insulation. The flat roof is designed green extensive. The second part of the thesis deals with the building environment technology, which will use energy from photovoltaic panels and will be supplied with heat from a local central heat source. Air exchange is provided by two HVAC units. Cooling is designed as a VRF system with refrigerant. The third part of the thesis deals with the acoustic assessment. The main topic is optimizing the reverberation time in the open space office. For the preparation of the thesis, the Archicad and Autocad software, MS Excel and Word or Deksoft were used.
Municipal authority with nursery school

The subject of my diploma thesis is a new-building of a municipal authority with a nursery school in Obora near Boskovice. The objects are statically and operationally separated from each other, but they formo ne unit. The building is located on the corner of the village in a flat terrain and thus forms the dominant feature of the village and a landmark. The target of the design was to create a building that will harmoniously connect to the surrounding buildings, public spaces and the school garden. The municipal authority has a rectangular floor plan, two-storey, basement, covered with a sloping roof, the building has a designed elevator. In the basement there are cellars of local associations, on the ground floor there is information center, a municipal library and on the first floor there is a municipal office with a registry office and a ceremonial hall. The attic can be used in the future for municipal apartments for rent. An official board with a public space is designed ahead of the municipal office. A photovoltaic power plant will be located on the roof of the municipal office. The nursery school has a trapezoidal floor plan, ground floor, no basement, covered with a vegetated flat roof. In the nursery school there is a children's day room with a storage room, storage of mattresses, teaching aids, food preparation, technical and hygienic facilities. The structural systém of both objects is longitudinal, wall. The underground part of the municipal office is designed in a white concrete tub system. The vertical load-bearing constructions are made from cut ceramic blocks. The horizontal constructions in the municipal office are monolithic, ferroconcrete, and in the nursery school they are prefabricated, ferroconcrete. The project was made in AutoCad software application, 3D model in 3D modelling computer program SketchUp.
Children's Home

The thesis focuces on project documentation for a construction project with the aim to design home for children under institutional care. Located on the outskirts of Skuteč, the building is three-storey, detached and partially basemented. The basement area lays on the slab foundations and the first floor on strip foundations. Vertical structures are made of ceramic blocks and local reinforced concrete columns while horizontal structures are made of reinforced concrete slabs and wooden trusses over the gym. The building is covered by a vegetated flat roof. The building houses six residential units for six family groups with a total capacity of 43 children. The basement includes gym and fitness with technical facilities. The first floor consists of three residential units, changing rooms for the gym and kitchen with facilities. The second floor houses remaining three residential units, offices and the refectory. The upper floor is used for children´s education and entertainment.
Apartment house

The bachelor's thesis solves design of a new apartment house. The aim of the bachelor´s thesis is the processing of project documentation for the implementation of the construction. The building is located in the city of Nitra. The apartment house is detached, which has three floors and is partially basement. In the basement there are home equipment. Home equipment, communication spaces and eight flats are designed on the upper floors. The vertical load-bearing structures in the basement are made of concrete fittings, in the upper floors they are made of ceramic fittings. Horizontal loadbearing structures are semi-assembled. The roof is designed as a vegetation flat roof. The building is insulated with a certified contact thermal insulation system.
