Optimization of thick-film electrochemical sensor's electrode system
Cupal, Miroslav ; Adámek, Martin (referee) ; Prášek, Jan (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with thick/film sensor’s electrodes optimization. The aim of this work is to determine how the geometric size and shape of the electrodes affect the output current response. Technology and electro-analytical method is described in the theoretical part. The practical part is aimed at thick-films electrodes and sensors optimalization. It is here each optimization TLV electrodes in terms of their impact on the size of the output current response three-electrode electrochemical system using standard electrodes. Similarly, there is a study of the effect size performed on one common electrode free-electrodes sensor. Finally, there are studied various forms of electrode area three-electrode thick-film sensor in terms of their effect on the output current response. Summarized results are described in the final part of the work.
Application of EDM in combination with milling
Drmela, Radim ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The diploma thesis is notionally divided into three parts. The first literature search part deals with the electronic discharge machining. The second main part solves the problem of machining plungers (movable part of the injection mold). This part also includes a technological process including production instruction cards. There are also calculated costs of production for this diploma part. The last part compares applications of electronic discharge machining technology with applications of milling technology.
Gold nanostructured electrodes characterization modified by biotinyl oligonucleotic particles
Vrbová, Eva ; Drbohlavová, Jana (referee) ; Hrdý, Radim (advisor)
Nowdays, science is trying to develop better technology for production of nanotechnology. This is related to integration into the electrochemistry and biosensors. Bachelor’s thesis deals of biotin oligonucleotide measurement using the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and voltammetric methods on gold electrodes. The aim of practical part is linking and characterization of biomolecules on the surface of the nanostructured gold electrodes, than the discussion of results and measured data.
Electrode Active Materials for Lithium-Ion Accumulators
Čech, Ondřej ; Oriňáková, Renáta (referee) ; Paidar,, Martin (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This doctoral thesis deals with synthesis and characterisation of electroactive electrode materials for li-ion batteries and accumulators. The work is divided into two main parts. One deals with LiFePO4 based cathode composite electroactive material and in the second is described the synthesis and utilization of monoclinic TiO2(B) as an anode for li-ion cell. The main aim of the work is to relate the synthesis procedure and structural properties of both materials to its electrochemical preformance.
Study on dependency of the weld geometry on process parametres in laser hybrid welding of austenitic stainless steel
Jireš, Daniel ; Daněk, Ladislav (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
The project has been solved during the bachelor´s degree of engineering technology examines the the influence of laser hybrid welding austenitic stainless steel ČSN 17240 (DIN 1.4301). This steel is the most widely used type of stainless steel, recommended for use in aggressive environments such as a swimming pools, laboratories or facilities in contact with sea water. The test specimens, which were performed on the weld bead at different speeds and other welding parameters, were metallographicly investigated. The results showed that the highest geometric parameters such as depth and width of the weld pool have the samples with welding speed v = 10 mm s-1, the smallest geometrical parameters have the samples with the welding speed v = 30 mm s-1.
Apparatus for electrotherapy
Kopečný, Josef ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
In the beginning of this thesis are described principles of physiatric treatment. The electrotherapy is analysed in more detail. Firstly with respect to the conduction of current into the skin, secondly with respect to using of various kinds of currents, which are normally used for this electrotherapy. Also electrodes and conversion of current between electrode and the skin are mentioned. The last part of this thesis focused on the proposition and realization of simple apparatus for this electrotherapy.
Evaluation Of Temperature Influence on Lead-Acid Battery Properties
Langer, Martin ; Zimáková, Jana (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with lead-acid batteries, their properties and individual types that are available on the market. The temperature dependences of the battery parameters at different ambient temperatures and at different discharging and charging modes are measured here. The theoretical part of the work deals with electrochemical cells in general, description of their main parts and principles of operation. The work analyzes the types of batteries used, their advantages and negatives. In the case of a lead-acid battery, its internal structure and the function of the electrodes and the electrolyte are taken into account. Furthermore, a description of individual possible negative phenomena that take place in lead-acid batteries and contribute to the end of their service life is included. In the practical part, 6 batteries are tested at different charging currents, which provides information about their behavior both during discharge and at the time of charging. During the experiments, testing is not only performed at room temperature, but the batteries are also exposed to high temperatures up to 75 ° C.
Fuel cells in personal transport
Říha, Stanislav ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
This thesis is oriented to historical evolution of fuel cell, his total analysis, description of single disadvantage and advantage with which fuel cells battle. An other reason for urgency of using alternative fuel, brief description of car market and possible guess of fuel cell's future in personal transport are involved in an other part of this thesis. The end of the thesis deal with cars of fuel cells split in parts according to single car companies.
Conducting polymers and their use in supercapacitors
Gottwald, Tomáš ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (referee) ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with the issues of using conducting polymers for supercapacitor electrodes and optimizing the technological process for their production. The work focuses on optimizing the amount of polymer used in order to achieve the most capacity. The methodology consists of creating an appropriate experimental electrode and subsequent measuring its associated capacity with BioLogic. This approach leads to creating charts which show the dependencies of capacity on the amount of polymer used.
Research and Development of OnChip Solid Amalgam Microelectrode for the Detection of Biomacromolecules
Tkáčová, Tereza ; Drbohlavová, Jana (referee) ; Hrdý, Radim (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is utilising of amalgam electrodes in electrochemistry, especially for diagnostics of biomakromolecules and DNA. There will be designed a suitable method of amalgamation, applicated on 64-electrodes chip system in the practical part. Several substances will be tested on amalgam electrodes and then the results will be processed and evaluated.
