Hudečková, Petra ; Kotásek, Jiří (referee) ; Zemánková, Helena (advisor)
The main idea of the project is a gradual interpenetration of a town and nature and concurrently the free connection of the new projected area Rybníky and neighbouring quarter Prštné. And so the density of housing gradually becomes thinner and the density of vegetation thicker from the South to the North. At the same moment the form and function of buildings are changing. There is a sport area in greenery between Rybníky and Prštné as an open connection of new buildings in Rybníky and old ones in Prštné. Entrances of the area are defined by two dominant administration buildings. A local centre of the area is a park with a pavilion in its heart and a near public courtyard with café, kindergarten and the home for the elderly and singles. The projected area is full of cycle paths which connect the quarter and the Zlín city centre. The riverbank with a relaxation zone is created along the river Dřevnice.

This project is situated at the location of a former factory area of Baťa Company; specifically in its eastern part. This dissertation is focused on the analysis of the given location, evaluates it in terms of its potential, and finally sets out the main priorities that should be applied in the draft. The accompanying report then describes and specifies the project, as drawn graphically, in the form of situational patterns, plans, sections, perspectives, and visualizations. Specifically, the project deals with the reconstruction of the former manufacture building No. 24, proposes a construction of a new building no. 25, and provides a solution for space in between of these two buildings. The project primarily seeks to make the entire site more attractive, and bring it to the function which would implement the functions in the assignment of the technology park. The function of the technology park is divided with regard to the investors requirements. From the urban point of view, the project seeks to approach the problem stemming out of the essence of the place. The use of objects remaining on the site preserved, is designed not to disturb the architectural expression and static essence. Architectural expression of new objects is selected not to oppose the overall architectural expression of the site. The project also includes and evaluates the usage of solar energy.
Safe-life extension program for ZLIN Z 126 and 226 airplanes
Jančář, Milan ; Juračka, Jaroslav (referee) ; Augustin, Petr (advisor)
This master's thesis discusses the possibilities of safe-life extension program for ZLIN Z 126 and 226 airplanes, which despite their age and long-end production are still widespread and popular not only in the Czech Republic. The age of these aircraft is also related to the fact, that some aircraft are already approaching its border life, so there is an interest for the longest possible technical and legislative airworthiness. As mentioned in my bachelor's thesis, during the existence of this model series, there was no major damage occurred, except for sporadic exfoliation corrosion of wing flanges. Experience with maintenance of this aircraft points to certain underestimation of the current 5500hrs lifetime and it is obvious to suggest possible steps to increase the current limit. The thesis is therefore considered in this context the possibility of producing new wing flanges made of another material, performed the calculation for wing fatigue exchanged with flanges and designed technological process of this exchange, so that ZLIN Z 126 and 226 airplanes can be safely operated in the future.
