The botanical pavillion in Jihlava

The aim of this diploma thesis is to design a load-bearing structure of the botanical pavillion in Jihlava. The construction is designed as a variable structure of both steel and timber. Each solution has a different type of ribs. The layout is a hexadecagon with maximum dimension of 30 meters. The height of the building is considered to be 10 meters.
Study of the square in České Skalice

The aim of the diploma thesis is to design a suitable layout of the square in České Skalice. The work deals with the design of parking places, bus bays, barrier-free sidewalks and the design of pedestrian crossings and places for crossing. The other part is the layout of greenery and the improvement of the center of the square. In the framework of the work, three variants of the arrangement were elaborated. The most preferred option was further elaborated.
Study of Hrušovany's Rail Wye

Study of Hrušovany's Rail Wye deals with design of a direct link between the railway stations Brno central station and Znojmo. So that trains do not drive into the railway station Hrusovany Jevišovkou. The clutch should be faster and more efficient connection between stations. It will single-railway line. I designed a total of 7 variant, of which I am solve two best.
Prelouc - Hermanuv Mestec Track Speed Increase

The bachelor's thesis focuses on increasing the track speed in the section of the Přelouč - Heřmanův Městec railway line. The thesis includes an analysis of the track geometry and proposes several variants to enhance the track speed by the track geometry optimisation. The individual variants are compared, and alternative methods to reduce the travel time and improve the line section attractiveness are examined.
Uherský Ostroh bypass - location study

The subject of the bachelor’s thesis is a location study of the Uherský Ostroh bypass. The town is located in the Zlín region, 10 kilometers southwest away from Uherské Hradiště. The bypass is designed as road category S9,5/90. The existing road is led through the city, and the construction of the bypass will significantly reduce the negative effects of traffic in the build-up area of the city.
Design of watering module for mobile robot

The diploma thesis is focused on the design of a watering module for a mobile robot. The main goals of this work are to design various concepts of the watering module and their subsequent comparison, ending with the selection of the final concept, which results in its implementation in the form of a prototype with subsequent testing of its properties. The first part of this work is focused on the analysis of the issue and the definition of the assigned task together with the main parameters and requirements. The second part contains an overview of known solutions to the issue and designs for own concepts of the watering module and its individual components. The designs are compared and evaluated in terms of their performance, complexity and price. In the third part, based on the evaluation of the most promising variants, there is a selection of the final concept and after that designing and selection of the final constructional solution. The fourth part is focused on the design and implementation of the prototype, contains the selection and design of the necessary components, module assembly and the creation of the control algorithm of the watering module. The final fifth part contains testing of the functional properties of the prototype, their evaluation and subsequent suggestions for its improvement.
Cajun French: mirror of the past, of the present and of the future

The thesis seeks to give an overall image concerning the linguistic situation of Cajun French of Louisiana. This regional variant of French is spoken by a minority group of speakers in this state. Given that the paper was created in the Czech academic community where Cajun French is virtually unknown, it tries to spark more interest in this topic. The first chapter presents the theoretical input to the outlined problem and Czech works dealing with Cajun French. The second chapter shows the basic facts about Louisiana, as well as the key events in its history. It examines the creation of Cajun French and characterizes its specific features. It also includes a mention of Cajun French reference books. The third chapter examines the legal status of the French language in Louisiana. Furthermore, the work sheds light on its French language policy, carried out mainly by a state agency called CODOFIL (the abbreviation comes from Council for the Development of French in Louisiana).The thesis later explains what the adherence to Francophonie would mean for this state. This is followed by an account of the relations entertained with Francophonie. Design of Cooling system in apartment

Bachelor thesis is consistsing of a part of the thesis, which deals with the distribution of used cooling systems and a description of how they work. The following section attend with the description of the flat for which cooling is envisaged. The third part deals with the calculation of heat gains derived from people, electrical appliances, flow from other rooms and solar radiation. The last section show three variants of cooling, their comparison and evaluation.
