Road I/42 – Brno Expressway in section MUK Hlinky – MUK Velodrom

The topic of this master thesis is the solution of Brno expressway in section between interchanges Hlinky and Velodrom. The thesis introduces two alternatives of height trajectory of Brno expressway. In first alternative the expressway is above current terrain on the estacade. The local roads are situated under the estacade on the terrain level. The neighboring areas stay intouched. In the second alternative the author presumes the reconstruction of part of the exhibition centre. In this case the expressway is situated on the terrain level and rises up just before interchange Velodrom. The local area is serviced by the new road situated in reconstructed area and by two bridges over the expressway. The next topic of the thesis is the solution of interchange Velodrom. Both alternatives are compared in the end.

Junction Rosice - east

In the future, there should be a construction of bypasses for the residential areas of Rosice and Tetčice. The bypasses should be, according to the area planning, connected to road I/23 in the place of the existing T-junction of this road and road II/394, located to the east of the city Rosice. This connection will require the changing of the exisisting junction solutions. The thesis deals with the choice of the appropriate type of junctions and mainly contains the study of this designed interchange junction.

Study of R43/ I/43 Grade Separated Junction

Aim of this Master´s thesis is the road adjustment and design of new grade separated junction highway R43 and road I/43,of Černá Hora – Svitávka and to design optimal distribution of transport hubs including the design II/150 and III/37429, which should be connected with existing roads.The adjustment of the routes will be designed in the necessary extent with the optimal distribution of transport hubs regarding the best transport and economical solution and with minimal impact on the enviroment.

Study of MÚK Hodonín - west

The bachelor thesis deals with creating a study of an adjustment to the current design of interchange Hodonín – západ which is a part of a intended construction of motorway D55. The reason for the adjustment is consideration of canceling a bypass of the city Hodonín which is connected to current design of interchange Hodonín – west. The current design of interchange will be replaced by a new solution. From three possible options, two were chosen which ensured sufficient arrangement and an increase of safety in junctions.

Crossroad I/52 and II/152 - Study

The subject of the thesis is a variant solution of the interchange of roads I/ 52 and II / 152 near the village of Modřice, which lies in the district of Brno-Country in the South Moravian Region. Within the work, a total of four variants were proposed and subsequently processed in the form of a study. The aim of the proposal is to improve the traffic situation and traffic safety, due to the formation of queues on the ramps of the interchange at rush hour, which is caused by heavy traffic on the road II / 152.

The master´s thesis focuses on design interchange on R46 highway. The purpose of this thesis is to design optimal solution of transport capacity and safety. The another part of the thesis is solution of connecting on roads II/433 and III/37766. This solution is part of bypass plan, by city plan of Prostějov.
