The Red Queen
Králík, Martin ; Zálešák, Jan (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
Red Queen is a chess piece on the story of Alice in Wonderland, which is constantly running to hold it in place, because the world around it is constantly in motion. Therefore, it is a symbol of the theory of evolution, a constant necessity innovation and the eternal escape from competitors. Red Queen's Race is constructed into a miniature civilization, or rather one growing superorganism, which constantly oscillates between the digital and the physical world. The main consciousness of this association is black majestically looking server that supplies with his computing power and energy all attached printers. They are designed specifically for this purpose, such as abstraction of robotics industry, with an emphasis on a functionally aesthetic form, in yellow-orange color of heavy industrial machinery. The most important and largest part of this system, are entities which printers materialize. They are created according to a living creature of this world, generated by computer, based on a unique code, which is the result of calculating the evolutionary recombination, processed by the server, depending on the reactions of outside observers at the objects which are already created. Sense of each entity is attract attention. How much more, the greater is the chance to continue their code in future generations.
Possibilities of dispersed reinforcement for lightweight concrete
Novotná, Aneta ; Žítt, Petr (referee) ; Láník, Jaromír (advisor)
Master´s thesis deals with some problems associated with utilisation of lightweight concrete from the porous aggregates in the load – carrying structures. The thesis focuses on the possibilities of the increase of the cement composites toughness using dispersed reinforcement. Lightweight concretes were reinforced with a combination of different lengths of polypropylene fibers Forta Ferro. There were used polypropylene fibers of three lengths 19, 38, 54 mm. The thesis is divided into theoretical, experimental and static part.
Enhanced mathematical library for C++
Temel, Aleš ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
I create a library for storing matrices and working with matrices in this bachelor’s thesis. In this case, the issues concern mainly so-called sparse matrices. C++ do not provide among the standard libraries tools for easy working with sparse matrices. The most frequent alternative is the application of two-dimensional array (2D array). 2D array may be realized as a double pointer representing the rows and the columns of the matrix. The basic problem is that behavior of 2D array is identical both to the sparse, and to the full non-zero matrix. 2D array ignores the possibility to store matrices more favorable. The library for storing matrices designed by me takes into account the storing of sparse matrices by several different ways. It offers the sparse format CSR (Compressed sparse rows), as well as alternatives to save the specially structured matrices. In the course of creating library the main emphasis first of all I put on the amount of memory that is necessary for storing matrices. Because it is a mathematical library, it contains different functions suitable for working with matrices, such as determinant calculation, inverse matrix calculation and so. When calculate these functions it is necessary to take into account used memory size as well. Intermediate results are stored also in sparse format, and removed as soon as possible after their use. I created also the second library that deals with the floating point numbers stored with greater precision than standard data types like float and double. The size of occupied memory increases according to precision of floating point number.
Audio matrix-switch
Dluhý, Vojtěch ; Kaller, Ondřej (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
Target of this bachelor thesis is make analyse and concept of matrix for switching audio signals with best quality in radio station. Inputs are regulated and outputs are adjusted to line level for connecting with another devices. Matrix is controlled from PC over USB by microcontroller. From this findings is made electrical scheme, PCB a mechanic design of this equipment. Finally, device is constructed.
Industrial state indicator
Růžička, Zdenek ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
Diploma work deals with industrial display systems, indicators and their proposal. These systems are used everywhere that is necessary to mediate transmission of information. Own proposal of indicator is very specific and depends on given application and used display. In practice there is possible to use a few types of displays but in this diploma work there are used only sedmisegmental and matrix. Common component of proposal is microcontroller. No less significat and important part of the proposal is a choice of interface and communication protocol. The correct choice of hardware that is completed with software we will obtain complete status indicator.
Machining parts made from composite materials
Trčka, Radim ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with fiber-reinforced composite materials in terms of their attributes, development, distribution, usage and production. It analyzes problems of composite materials (especially electroinsulating and thermo insulating) and machining supported by Edgecam software.
Looking for an optimal aiming point in playing darts
Mareček, Petr ; Rajmic, Pavel (referee) ; Mangová, Marie (advisor)
The thesis deals with recommendation optimal point of dartboard. The first part is theoretical, where is described issue of probability, distribution of variation and significant distribution of variation. At the end of theoretical part is described the Fourier transfrom. The second part of the thesis deals with the design and implementation of web application. The design and implemention of web application uses the theoretical part for assigment optimal point of dartboard.
Study of electrical properties composites with nanoparticles
Lorenc, Aleš ; Havlíček, Svatopluk (referee) ; Polsterová, Helena (advisor)
This work deals with properties of electro insulating varnishes and composite materials. The general aim is to study the influence of nanoparticles on dielectric properties of electro insulating varnishes.
Sizing of the waves geometrical parameters fabricated on the sheet metal die
Stupárek, Daniel ; Forejt, Milan (referee) ; Samek, Radko (advisor)
This thesis approaches the problem of the return of the original geometric shape of the wave which is created on die panels. Die is used as a structural feature of the fiber-cement roofing material in its shipment in the production line. Based on the study of the theory of cold formed sheet metal determine the actual status in the plant. The method of calibration was designed from the collected informations about the original manufacturer of sheet metal panels. Under this proposal and calculation of the required forming power for the recalibration wave in the factory device for the die calibration was designed and constructed. Equipment calibration was performed on two types of corrugated panels and the result fulfilled the theoretical assumptions. In conclusion is processed technological-economic evaluation and the accompanying drawings.
LOGISTIC CONCEPT FOR VIRTUAL ORGANISATIONS
Kuřitka, Ivo ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The thesis addresses the role of logistic concept in a virtual organization. Theory of virtual organization was complemented by a definition of virtuality and a model of virtual organization was created. Two measurable properties of virtual organizations are used for construction of a 2x2 matrix of centralization – integration giving thus clear view of virtual organizations taxonomy. Duality of hierarchic dimension of network structure and layers of the virtual dimension led to a comprehensive description of virtual enterprises with the aid of newly created 3x3 matrix of virtual layer – hierarchy level. Within this framework are interpreted processes in virtual organization during virtual enterprise’s lifecycle. Dynamic restructuring and stability issues are explained with the aid of the matrixes. A consistent approach of presented virtual organization’s theory gives interpretation of emerging logistic concept. The use and application potential of presented theory is exemplified in development of RFID implementation method for virtual organizations. Attention is paid to RFID costs and benefits analysis under condition of virtual organizing.
