Design of clamping device for mass production on CNC milling machine
Blahuta, Jiří ; Foltýn, Jan (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a design of a milling fixture and a fixture for broaching on a press. The fixtures enable progressive production on a CNC machine with a high efficiency and minimal downtime. The fixtures are designed for a serial production of a specific component in automotive industry with quantity of 250 000 units per year. The main goal and partial goals of the thesis were accomplished. The designed milling fixture uses wedge clamps and hydraulic cylinders for clamping. The broaching fixture uses springs to position the workpiece. The design of proposed fixtures was verified by production capacity calculations, which prove that the series will be produced in a required time. To further increase productivity, it was suggested based on calculations to use five milling fixtures in the milling machine. The design of the broaching fixture was verified by FEM simulation, which showed that the device is sufficiently rigid and strong. The result of the work is a design of two fixtures in the form of 3D models and drawings. The work includes, among other things, research of three-axis CNC milling machines, broaching machines, and wrought aluminium alloys.
Analysis of machining processes of metallic materials with a focus on energy issues
Szlaur, Vít ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Chladil, Josef (advisor)
A general analysis of machining problems, analysis of cutting forces for turning, milling, drilling. Evaluation of experimentally measured values of surface structure and theoretical values of cutting forces in turning cylindrical parts. Economical processes for the comparable results of the final state of the surface.
Mobile turning machining center with vertical workpiece axis
Pomikálek, Adam ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the conceptual design of a mobile lathe centre with a vertical workpiece axis. First, a search in the field of mobile lathes, stationary lathes and methods of their transport is performed. Then, from the described transport machine options, the most suitable transport variant is selected, thanks to which variants of the mobile machine solution are created. Subsequently, the design of the winning variant is fully adapted to the method of transport using containers. Emphasis is placed on simple construction, maximum use of the transport packaging in the machine frame and easy assembly of the machine customer. For these reasons, the machine frame must consist of two containers. Finally, the assembly and adjustment of the machine tool are solved in combination with the verification of the functionality of the proposed concept.
Production Concept of Special Machining Device for Making of T-Channel Detail
Opršál, Radek ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The objective of this diploma thesis was the design of a special machine tool that increases the efficiency of the production of a T-slot detail on the part of the clamp body. The thesis deals with the current production of this component as well as the description of the material, the machines that are used and the technological process. The next part focuses on the description of the new special machine tool, its production, heat treatment and the presentation of used indexable inserts. Another part analyses the production innovation that was comprised of the comparison with the former machine tool to the new one. The thesis concludes with a technical and economical evaluation of the former and innovated production.
Design of the manufacturing process for the "overflow valve" component in several variants
Křivánková, Lenka ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of the manufacturing process for the mechanical component of the owerflow valve. It includes structural analysis, material selection, compares selected manufacturing methods such as casting, milling and laser cutting, and their cost-effectiveness. The thesis also describes the function of the product in the base valve assembly.
Application of CAM software PowerMILL for programming of blisk
Přibilík, Tomáš ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on modeling and creation of NC programs for machining of the impellers. Software used for modeling is CATIA V5R20 from Dassault Systémes company. For creation of NC programs software PowerMILL from Delcam company is used. Verification of functionality of created NC programs is done in Sinumerik 840d control system.
Machining of titanium alloys
Horáček, David ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis is focused on titanium and its alloys, in terms of properties and uses. The problems of machinability, cutting tools, quality of machined surfaces and machining method are discussed. Threads in titanium alloys Ti-6AI-4V were cut in the practical part. The intention was to compare torque moments and surface quality of threads by using two cutting oils.
Efficiency Improvement Concept of Production of Rotary Component
Trčka, Radim ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with machining of rotating components made of composite material. Components of the two manufacturing technologies are compared. The aim of the thesis was to analyze and calculate the costs of the given technologies for different production batches. At the end of the diploma thesis there is a technological-economic evaluation and decision on which production technology will be used.
Draft of pin production technology
Hrdlička, Martin ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
The Master's thesis, written during the study of M-STM Manufacturing Technology and Management in Industry, is focused on the concept of the production technology of a pin. The thesis includes a description of forming and machining technology in terms of possibilities of their application in the production of the pin. Furthermore, by comparing both technologies and preliminary economic evaluations of production, it leads to the choice of the production method. This production method is then described, and the description contains the production process steps including the creation of the CNC program. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to the technical and economic evaluation of the production concept.
Design of production technology for a pinion shaft of a gearbox
Hulvej, Matúš ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The diploma thesis presents a design of a technical project: design of production technology for a pinion shaft of a gearbox and design of alternative technology. It focuses on the analysis of a component, the selection of materials, machines and tools, and the creation of a manufacturing drawing and technological process of the production. It is concluded by a technical-economic evaluation, based on which are both designs compared and evaluated which design is better for specific conditions.
