MODETA JIHLAVA
Chytilová, Markéta ; Ryška, Zbyněk (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor)
The topic of my Master‘s thesis is an architectural study of the reconstruction and revitalization of the former MODETA factory building, located near the Jihlava Zoo. The building is designed to have multifunctional use for the zoo. The construction program defines the building as a complementary facility to the functional complex of the Jihlava Zoo. The location is near the historical center of the city of Jihlava, along the Jihlávka river. The project was preceded by a pre-diploma project, in which I focused on the design of mobile containers for the Jihlava Zoo. In the building, there will be an animal exhibition connected to the zoo. The new section will be fully functional even in the winter season. You will find here the Water World with an exhibit of a small crocodile - the Dwarf Caiman. There will also be an Orangutan exhibit and a Night World, where mammals will have an opposite regime (night during the day). The exhibit of small monkeys is located on the 2nd floor, where there is also a 2nd observation point for orangutans. You can also observe them from a bridge that connects the building to the zoo. For zoo staff, there is a facility with offices, a workshop, and sanitary facilities. A self-service restaurant with a capacity of up to 150 people on the 1st floor serves both the public and employees, whose facilities are connected to the restaurant. The public will also have access to a congress and exhibition hall, where it is possible to create two separate events or combine spaces by sliding mobile partitions to increase capacity. The halls are connected by elevators and stairs to accommodation on the 3rd floor and the restaurant for refreshments on the 1st floor. Accommodation can be used by the public as well as educational institutions. The IQ Park is located on the 2nd floor, accessible by a separate entrance or directly from the Night World. There will be interactive equipment with animal themes and a screening room with a capacity of 60 people.

The work focuses on the revitalization of the former Modeta textile factory complex in Jihlava. It addresses its integration into the structure of the adjacent zoo area. The aim of the project is to create a multifunctional facility that will provide new spaces for zoo activities. The building houses exhibitions of Indian rhinoceroses, small mammals, and reptiles. Additionally, the building includes a restaurant with a capacity of up to 150 people and accommodation options. Like the congress hall, these spaces are accessible from the entrance foyer. Above the hall, there is an IQ park and coworking spaces. New changing rooms for zoo employees are designed in connection with the technical yard.
Restoration of the former fast in Hodíškov
Centner, Václav ; Špiller, Martin (referee) ; Guzdek, Adam (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to develop the concept of the studio work from the first semester of the third year, which we originally took from concept to documentation for the building permit in part B. Furthermore, the design was finalized in the documentation C for the implementation of the construction. The actual topic was the restoration of the fast house in Hodíšek, which has long since lost its original purpose and is now used as council housing for non-domestic local residents. The Rychta has also undergone several alterations to try to bring new qualities to it, which have been rather contradictory. The Rychta is located in Hodíškov, which is a small village among the hills of the Highlands. We drove to the place through winding roads barely wide enough for one car. Around the roads there were grown-up houses and we actually felt a bit like in another world after arriving from Brno. The Rychta stands on a hill, separating the former sugar factory from the rest of the village. From the hill the tavern looks down on the village and looks majestic as the patron saint of the place. There is also a small pond in the village, which makes the local climate more pleasant and provides a home for all kinds of animals and plants. Hodíškov has 150 inhabitants, so the fast house with its farm wing exceeds the capacity of the locals' demands for a place where they can meet and hold public gatherings. Therefore, in connection with the romantic nature of the place, I thought that the fast house with its farm wing could serve as a setting for weddings and larger social events. This will allow me to bring a more generous spatial experience to the vaulted spaces in the farm wing and restore the spirit of the interior spaces that has been lost during the remodeling of the past years. In my approach to the heritage values of the fast house I am trying to restore its dignity and grandeur on the other hand not forgetting and denying its history which has been so tarnished. Different parameters apply to the economic wing. During the rebuilding process, there were attempts to bring it closer to the speedway with various façade elements and the like. In working with these two buildings I try to establish firmly where each stands and what its role is and was. The wedding program required increased accommodation capacity, which I solved by adding a "barn" to the rear yard space.
Age Management in Residential Social Services
NEDBALOVÁ, Aneta
The aim of the diploma thesis was to find out how age management is implemented in residential social services in the district of Jindřichův Hradec from the point of view of management and control of residential social services. The first partial objective was to find out the experience from the point of view of the management of residential social services with the implementation of age management. The second partial objective was to find out what procedures residential social services have in the context of age management. The third partial objective was to find out whether and how do the residential social services work with the Work Ability Index. The research part was carried out on the basis of a qualitative research strategy. The method of questioning and the technique of semi-structured interview were used. The data were processed using open coding and thematic analysis. The informants were selected on the basis of a total selection through institutions. The research sample consisted of 7 informants, who were managers of residential social services. The research has found that only elements of age management are used in residential social services, not the whole concept. The managers have experience with only certain elements and it has been shown that they are often not sufficiently informed about age management. However, many different procedures are implemented in the addressed organizations that are a part of age management, even if the managers are not aware that these are parts of age management. Unfortunately, none of the organizations uses the Work Ability Index tool. This diploma thesis can be beneficial for students of social services management and managers of residential social services, to whom it provides inspiration and insight on the use of age management elements in residential social services.
Bloodstream infection in patients during the COVID-19 pandemic in of General University Hospital in Prague
BAUER, Kristýna
Blood stream infection is one of the serious life-threatening conditions of hospitalized patients with coronavirus disease during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Czech Republic. This is the penetration of microorganisms into the bloodstream, which is accompanied by symptoms of a general infection. The most common consequence is the development of sepsis. The aim of the laboratory examination is to obtain a reliable blood culture result. Such a result can only be achieved if all procedures are followed, from the indication by the doctor to the process of sampling by the medical staff into the bottles directly intended for this purpose. Taking blood cultures confirms or excludes the presence of bacteria in the bloodstream. Blood cultures are the gold standard for diagnosing bloodstream infections. A detection culture is used for hemocultivation of the BacT/Alert 3D system, which is based on the colorimetric detection of CO2 produced by growing microorganisms in blood cultures.
Vyhodnocení výskytu mastitid u dojnic ve vybraném chovu skotu
KOPEČKOVÁ, Kateřina
Mastitis is a serious production disease affecting dairy cattle. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to evaluate the incidence of mastitis in a selected cattle farm during the study period 2022-2023. A total of 174 cases of mastitis were identified, 82 % of which were caused by environmental pathogens, the most isolated being Streptococcus uberis (68 %). The highest incidence of mastitis occurred during summer (28 %) and the lowest during autumn (22 %). The most frequently infected quarter was the right hind (34 %) and the lowest incidence was in the left front (18 %). During the study, mastitis occurred during lactations 1-6, but was most frequently demonstrated in lactation 2 (29 %), with the lowest incidence occurring during lac-tations 5 and 6 (7 %). From calving to mastitis incidence occurred most frequently in phase 4 (over 150 days), during which 31 % of mastitis occurred. The somatic cell count was 316 000, with the highest count during August 2022 (405 000).

Thrombin generation in pathophysiological conditions
Malíková, Ivana ; Kvasnička, Tomáš (advisor) ; Hirmerová, Jana (referee) ; Úlehlová, Jana (referee)
Introduction: Thrombophilic conditions may be accompanied by increased thrombin generation (TG), especially during pregnancy when the increase in thrombin generation results from a series of changes in the haemostatic system. During administration of anticoagulant treatment, it is desirable to reduce the increase in thrombin generation. Aims of the study: The first aim of our study was to compare TG in individuals with a proven factor V Leiden mutation and individuals with elevated levels of factor VIII. Another aim was to compare patients with VTE and also with or without proven FV Leiden mutation that are taking different anticoagulation treatments. The final aim was to assess thrombin generation in pregnant women and their response to LMWH administration during severe thrombophilic conditions. Group of patients and methods: There were included 170 healthy blood donors in the control group, the congenital and acquired thrombophilia group included 44 individuals with FV Leiden mutation and 38 individuals with factor VIII level >150 % without other proven thrombophilia. 347 subjects with VTE taking direct coagulation inhibitors were included in the anticoagulation group. Sixty women with a prophylactic dose of LMWH were included in the group of pregnant women. Kit Technothrombin® TGA RC Low and RC...
