Svoboda, Ondřej ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Drábek, David (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the corporate performance management which represents a new direction in utilizing of data produced by Business Intelligence. An application of this approach in a telecommunications operator environment is a major contribution of this thesis. Theoretical principles of corporate performance management which capture, for instance, analysis of components, architecture, future development and current state of the market are described in the first two chapters. The third charter is an introductory part to the practical one because it deals with selected implementation methodology of corporate performance management. This thesis concentrates on two parts within the framework of this methodology -- analysis and proposal. While the fourth chapter characterizes the initial situation and a methodology of collecting of data, the fifth and sixth chapters create a core of this diploma thesis. The fifth chapter, which focuses on the analysis mentioned above, surveys a current state of the parts needed in order to propose CPM and where it is necessary the fifth chapter submits proposals of changes. The sixth chapter creates a complex proposal of CPM in a real environment based on the analysis of current situation in the company and from the proposals of changes. This proposal represents a summary of theoretical knowledge of corporate performance management and the current situation in the telecommunications company. The last seventh chapter makes recommendations which would contribute to the future implementation of the proposed corporate performance management.
Web user interface desing tools for end users
Vadlejch, Petr ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Nekvasil, Marek (referee)
The main objective of this document is to introduce available web user interface design tools to readers from general public. This document is organized into several chapters that include theoretical and practical information about selected applications and tools according to their main purpose. It is necessary to distinguish between graphical design tools, design of structure (wire frame), design of prototype, tools for final website generation like WYSIWYG or programs that combine visual and code instruments. The final results evaluation is based on practical experience with application and tool testing. The main contribution to the topic discussed throughout this document lies in the ability to bring an overview of basic application tools available on the market. It is important to mention again that all introduced tools do not require any programming skills.
Transformation of applications to Windows Azure
David, Martin ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Řehořík, Filip (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with Cloud computing, in particular its implementation of Microsoft's Windows Azure platform. The following objectives were defined for the thesis, which is analyzing and identifying the essential characteristics of Cloud computing with a focus on the Windows Azure platform, characterizing the key differences of applications in the cloud than on-premise applications, formulate recommendations for enabling transformation of existing applications into the Microsoft Cloud computing, which is delivered as a service. The main contribution of the work is to identify key differences between Windows Azure and on-premise solution. Creating recommendations to minimize the negative impact of these differences and maximize the benefits associated with the use of Windows Azure Cloud Computing platform.
Design and implementation of a applications to support the reception.
Kovář, Martin ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Tichý, Vladimír (referee)
The goal of this work is to design and implement application for support the student's dormitory reception. For that is needed to analyze processes and needs of receptionists, define requirements and then propose solutions. At first, work is devoted to the analysis of environment and processes, followed by the definition of requirements and their analysis. Next is finding out, if is there appropriate application. Such application is found and analyzed. Missing functionality is replaced by a new application. Design and implementation of the application is described in the final part of the work. The result of the work is an application that can be used along with the found application to service the needs of reception.
Building and using computer network at NAREX Bystřice, s.r.o.
Babický, Lukáš ; Pinkas, Otakar (advisor) ; Kristen, Miloš (referee)

The first part of the thesis considers the aspects that are needed for understanding the work of a computer network as a generic unit. There are discribed individual components, technologies, software topology and network security that are needed for the work of a computer network. In the practise part I describe its current state, highlight its deficiencies and suggest their corrections. Depending on the highlighted errors, individual solutions are suggested. The proposed solutions are presented to the company management. As subsequently agreed, the solutions are either implemented or cancelled.

Design of computer network training room
KRHÁNEK, Jiří
This project describe design of computer classroom for learning computer networking. At first I explain how create computer network. I decide about hardware and network items to use for realization fully functional computer network. Below I describe network setting in Operating Systems. At the end I fixate to solution particular cases which could be resolved by students in this computer classroom.
UML modeling
KREUZMAN, Michal
Bachelor thesis deals with modular (extensible) software aplication which serves mainly as aid tool for teaching mathematics, physics and chemistry through threedimensional animated scenes with usage of stereoscopic projection. Software design is created in modeling language UML, CD with C# source codes and models is included with work. Contribution of work is well documented design and source codes of software program (under open source licence) which is extensible. Other concerned people can join and work on this project. In theoretical part is essential basic of UML that I've used over designing the model. Following by practice part where I focus on modeling.
Make a design of 5 km long cycling road between Folmava a Hrošovský Týn
ŠLEISOVÁ, Martina
The aim of this thesis was to project two versions of a five-kilometer-long cycle road between Folmava and Horšovský Týn. These roads have been delimited between the village Dolní Folmava and the holiday resort Babylon. The version 1 has been selected for a detailed elaboration. The cycle road has been projected along the existing field and forest lanes and tertiary roads in order to avoid aimless cutting down of trees and large construction works. In this project, I have mainly drawn on the technical conditions TP 179 {--} Projecting Communications for Cyclists and Other Relative Instructions. In the course and height solutions I have proceeded so as to make the route overlap as much as possible the course of the existing communications. I have left the width layout untouched; however, I have revised the construction layout because of the security and fluidity of cycling. In order to prepare an adecuate coverage, the company LesoPol´s technology with the usage of the blend Glorit has been selected for possessing a wide range of advantages in comparison with current technologies. On the basis of these facts, I have elaborated the project documentation for the declaration of ground communication construction. Picnick and stop points were suggestes along the route as well as traffic signs and possible connections to an existing cycle and foot paths. Moreover, current cycle traffic situation was analysed, including mapping of the targets and resources of the cycle traffic in the region. I have also evaluated the utility of individual technical objects {--} such as culverts and bridges {--} and have pointed out to the need of restoration of some. I have drawn on the national and regional cycling tourism conceptions while elaborating this thesis.
Design of the database for forwarding agency
Kolařík, Vít ; Palovská, Helena (advisor) ; Strossa, Petr (referee)
The goal of this bachelor thesis was to create a design of a database for aplication of a transport company, that would be able to file orders and to control own trucks. I was progressing from creating an analysis and conceptual and physical model of the database to testing the database by simple commands in Oracle 10g Express Edition. Beside the design, I was also concerned in access of the users into the database. The presumed benefit should be the fact, that the customer would have the possibility to trace the order. An employee should be more effective in planning of the transports and a manager will have data at disposal concerning the orders and the trucks. He should be able to analyse the data because it will be in one place.
