KOKEŠOVÁ, Lenka
Bachelor thesis "Social and emotional development with individuals with ADHD" (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders) addresses how individuals develop from birth until early adulthood, and what problems these individuals, their parents, teachers and the whole neighborhood faces. Given that from ADHD syndrome suffer between 3-5% of the child population, it is certain that almost every teacher encounters with a child suffering from the syndrome. Personality of a teacher has an important impact on a development of a student with ADHD syndrome and influences mainly whether a child with the syndrome receives at school appropriate evaluation, will perform with adequate results with regard to their intellect and whether a child will like to go to school or will only have bad memories of school. Syndrome of attention deficit disorder together with hyperactivity is also currently known as so-called ADHD syndrome. Children which suffer from this disorder tend to be hyperactive, impulsive and have attention deficit disorder. For this reason they have behavioral and learning problems mostly from the first grade of primary school. Despite the fact that the intelligence of children with ADHD syndrome is not affected by the syndrome and in most cases they have average to above-average intelligence the children do not reach adequate results at school. Often receiving bad grading or being criticized for bad behavior and receiving notes sent home. These children are identified by others as sloppy, fools, punk, thugs, cheeky, etc." This thesis contains overview of up-to-date knowledge of this area (issue), above all reasons for ADHD, diagnostics and kinds of ADHD, legislation, possibilities of how to reduce ADHD syndrome and influence positively at a child as of very early age until the completion of the school attendance. In my research I have concentrated on evaluation of the main problems of individuals influenced by ADHD syndrome. These individuals suffer with ADHD as of early age up until adulthood during their studies and while spending free time. Taking into consideration the view of the teachers, doctors, parents and social workers. Study of the Bachelor thesis was prepared based on qualitative research method, the data were obtained from 3 kinds of anonymous surveys which were composed while using closed, semi-open and open questions. The studied group consist of doctors from hospital - pediatric department in České Budějovice, from children psychiatric hospital in Opařany, teachers from the primary school in Týn nad Vltavou and social workers from department MěÚ in Týn nad Vltavou. The aim of the research was to find out whether students if they are provided with specific educating and raising needs still show problems during tuition. If the individuals with ADHD syndrome are accepted by other children in a group, if based on the research persists syndrome ADHD until the adulthood and if this issue is perceived or ignored by layman and professional public.

Analysis of the behaviour of selected categories of breeding cows
VESELÁ, Tereza
The aim of this thesis was to assess the differences in behavior of the two categories of beef cattle of Limousine breed, reared in the system without market production of milk, specifically heifers and cows with calves. Two seasons were selected (summer and winter) for the observation and the accent was on observing basic categories of behavior, such as feed intake, rest, standing and movement. The place where the research took place was the farm "Černěveský háj" located on the boundary of Strakonice, Prachatice and Budějovice district. Both behavioral studies were conducted for whole twenty-four hours. For night monitoring hunting camera with programmable video recording was used. The recorded data were written to the ethogram using descriptive interval method with length of interval of 10 minutes. During both observations the fundamental rules of ethology were respected. Traced values were evaluated by absolute time, its percentage and frequency and were subsequently completed with appropriate description. The results from this ethological research of heifers and cows with calves during two different seasons show that older cows have more regular and more keep basic categories of behavior during the day and more extend their regular behavior even throughout the year. Older subjects are able to make better use of pasture than heifers and address to it more time of the day (40% resp. 35%). During consummation of preserved feed ration heifers shortened their feed intake compared to cows (39% resp. 31%). By heifers there was also significant movement restriction, but to a lesser extent than in the case of cows. At the same time heifers prolonged period of rest from 33% to 50%. In conclusion, the obtained results show that the area in which the cows are kept is suitable for raising beef cattle without market production of milk. The breeder could only focus more on supplementing of graze with elements supporting natural welfare of beef cattle in year-round grazing.
Effect of milking with an automatic milking system on selected incides of cattle welfare
HADAČOVÁ, Veronika
Life comfort of dairy cows is in concern of those breeders who are trying to meet all requirements of welfare and minimizing deficiencies in barns. In terms of welfare an automatized milking is most suitable mean how to reduce most of stress factors in stables. Data for processing results of this work was mined based on own ethological daily basis observations. The observations took place in two independent enterprises with different kind of breed (holstein and czech mottled cattle) between 21. 2. 2013 and 21. 3. 2013. From activity of dairy cows after 30 minutes after releasing from milking robot was found, that especially dairy cows for II. and higher lactation goes to feed immediately after milking. However, comparison of drinking of both groups led to conclusion, that group Holstein drank more often after milking. First-calvers went for a drink from 37% and dairy cows for higher lactation from 36%. Firstcalvers from czech mottled cattle group went for a drink from 30% and dairy cows for higher lactation from 23%. The next part of observation was recumbence after milking. In general 13 cows and from those only 4 first-calver lay down which is very positive finding in terms of health of udder and stress factor by first-calvers. Most of recumbencies was by cows on II and higher lactation of czech mottled cattle group where lay down 7 cows (5 %). Freedom of movement and reducing of stress factors in barn leads to higher comfort of cows and their welfare and milking robot meets requirements. It can be said that using milking robot is best practise for future of milked cattle.
