Web application for automated network design
Grenčík, Dominik ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Kubánková, Anna (advisor)
This master thesis focuses on creating a web application for the automated design of computer networks in the context of the rapid development of information technologies and their crucial role in the business environment. The work consists of theoretical and practical parts, with the theoretical part addressing the development of web applications, necessary programming languages, and tools, as well as the theory of computer networks and their design. The practical section includes the design and implementation of the backend with a relational database and the frontend with a description of components and functionality. The developed web application demonstrates how automated network design contributes to efficient planning and implementation of computer networks.
Design of laboratory activities for Telecommunication network services course
Dúbravka, Adrián ; Tomašov, Adrián (referee) ; Horváth, Tomáš (advisor)
This master's thesis focuses on designing three laboratory tasks for the subject of Telecommunication Network Services. The aim of this work is to develop education in the field of telecommunication networks through practice-oriented tasks. The work begins with a theoretical introduction that addresses current requirements for metallic and optical networks. It thoroughly examines the various services and approaches used in these networks. The theoretical part specifically focuses on the IXIA network analyzer, which is presented as a key tool for analysis and testing in laboratory conditions, including its advantages and limitations. In the practical part of the work, the design of three laboratory tasks integrated into the course is presented. These tasks are designed to correspond to realistic network scenarios and provide students with practical skills with devices and software. The first task involves working with the IXIA network generator, the second task focuses on simulation and testing using the GNS3 software and the third task thoroughly analyzes the DOCSIS system, its configuration, and functionality.
Analog switch for switched current circuits
Jahn, Michal ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor’s deals with a design of analog switches using switched current technique and CMOS technology. The design of these switches was implemented and subsequently simulated in the CADENCE environment where the emphasis was on suppression of transient processes. It is a charge injection error and a clock-feedthrough error when charging the capacities of channel during switching on or opening.
Design of paddle shifts for formula student
Dugas, Martin ; Vrána, Radek (referee) ; Koutný, Daniel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis concerns design of paddle shifters for Formula Student. It deals in theoretical part with knowledge of today’s shifting mechanisms, additive manufacturing technologies and ways of weight optimization of parts. In design section, it covers with actual solutions of this problems, whereas the most important target was to minimalize mass and maximize stiffness of the whole mechanism.
Bus wiring systems for complex building management
Mokrý, Lukáš ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
The aim of my thesis is to examine current opportunities of bus wiring systems for complex building management, mainly its power and economic evaluation. It can be simply called intelligent electrical installation. I will examine two systems from INELS and ABB company. These systems contain functional components, mainly modules and controllers. By means of other materials, I’ll create a panel. Components will be placed there and electrically connected. After this, systems will be put into operation and programmed by means of their software. The next step is measuring of quatities during the various conditions of systems and consumption, which is one of the main aims of the thesis. Two apparatuses will be used for measuring. This thesis itself will contain theoretical analysis of systems, their description, using the way of operation and main advantages and disadvantages. Single components and complete process of measuring and working in laboratory will be described. An overall evaluation and comparison of the systems from various points of view, including the price, will be put together from results.
The Project of Computr Network of Classroom Hight School
Brabcová, Kateřina ; Axmann, Miloš (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is conurned with a universal wiring network model of classrooms at high school. The thesis contains an analysis of the current situation and the company’s requirements. Is describes a technical solution of the cabling system, which comes out from a theoretical concept based on corresponding standards.
Company Computer Network Design
Kurtin, Pavel ; Lukáš,, BARTOŠÁK (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis designs a computer network for the administrative floor of a building belonging to a company manufacturing generators. The first part of the thesis contains basic information about the institution, a description of the building, the computer network's current state and demands from the investor. The second part contains theoretical possibilities, based on which the new computer network will then be designed. The final part is concerned with the computer network design itself, along with some economic evaluation.
Design of a WIFI Network in a Hospital
Badin, Vojtěch ; Jordán, Vilém (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on functional and efficient design of WiFi network which will be able to satisfy needs of pacients and employees of hospital which is based in a city with 10 000 inhabitants. By implementing this project, the hospital will achieve a better quality of service especially for patients who need to stay there for a long time. The thesis includes design of cable routing, selection and setting of active elements and economic evaluation of investment.
Modelling and Reliability Analysis of Campus Network at the BUT
Kraus, Zdeněk ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis informs about technologies and architecture of computer network at BUT.  It describes chosen technologies and some of theirs variants.  Further, it contains simulation model design of a network switch device.  That is followed by the model implementation with detailed description of model parts. Then, the model is tested on a set of simulation scenarios and it is evaluated in comparison with theoretical basis and real devices.  In conclusion, thesis suggests future model development and improvements.
Authenticing Active Devices in Identity-Based Networking Services
Lomnický, Marek ; Lampa, Petr (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
Main goal of this thesis is to study and test network access based on IBNS technology giving possibility to design flexible security policy based on user's identity and rights that is transparent to physical network components.
