Machining of flat-shaped components on CNC machines
Fridrich, Tomáš ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with machining of flat shaped components using CNC machines. In the theoretical part, the characteristics of CNC machines, NC programming and various methods of workpiece clamping are presented. It is followed by an overview of some Czech and foreign vertical machining centres with traverses only in X, Y and Z axes. Furthermore, an analysis of suitable technological operations for the production of flat-shaped parts is made. The last theoretical chapter deals with flat-shaped components and their division. The practical part of the bachelor thesis is focused on the creation of the NC program and the production procedure of the sample product, the compilation of data into the technological preparation of the production and the evaluation of the production.

Safety assessment of an operating Haas VF-2SSYT machining centre
Hochman, Jan ; Blecha, Radim (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the safety assessment of a CNC machining centre. In the introductory part the current requirements of the European Union and Czech legislation are summarized. This is followed by a systematic analysis of the issues and an analysis of good engineering practice. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the safety assessment of the production equipment itself. On the basis of checklists, potential risks are identified, which are subsequently analysed and evaluated.

The Rationalization of Production Part of Injection Pump
Havel, Marian ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the rationalization of the production process of plungers and elements of injection pumps in relation to improving the quality of the final products. Today’s technology, which mainly uses single-purpose machines where the production quality markedly depends on the abilities and activities of the operator, will replaced by modern machining centres and CNC machines for grinding all functional parts of the plungers, coupled with modern measuring devices. These production machines with the support of measuring devices will improve the productivity of production and the general quality of the produced components.

Large Turning Centres
Nábělková, Irena ; Jaroš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is dedicated to large turning centres. The first part thesis is the summary of large turning centres, their description and types. Usage possibilities of different large turning centres in cutting operations are mentioned too. In the second part, the calculating proposition of a chosen component of large turning centre is solved. This component is spindle-drive. Calculating proposition contains calculation of cutting force, power, total efficiency, utile work and energy.

Design of clamping device for CNC milling machine
Kašpárek, Jan ; Dočkal, Kryštof (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with clamping fixtures problematics for parts with difficult shapes. It aims to design an effective way of clamping of a part machined on CNC machining centre. The output is an adjustment of commercially available clamping system to suit requirements of assignment. The efficiency of the manufacturing process is determined by machining time calculations that showed that series will be finished in required time. Besides that, the thesis provides an overview in various fields, such as used materials in automotive industry, used machining centres in automotive industry and also the overview in principles of clamping.

Analysis of modern milling technologies for shaped parts
Pavelek, Michal ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor thesis is the analysis of modern milling technologies for shaped parts. The work offers the categorization and definition of shaped parts, and a description of the characteristics of milling techniques and methods used in the production of shaped parts. The work also describes the machines and tools used in the process of milling shaped parts. The last part of the paper offers the evaluation of each analyzed method, their comparing, and points out both their advantages and disadvantages.
