Alzheimer's disease from the point of view of geriatric nursing care

Alzheimer's disease is a serious neurodegenerative condition that affects the aging population worldwide. This bachelor thesis focuses on Alzheimer's disease and its associated geriatric nursing care. Geriatric nursing care is a crucial aspect of caring for seniors suffering from this disease, as they have specific needs and require an individualized approach. It is essential to consider the specific needs of seniors and to approach them individually to achieve the best health and social outcomes. A comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach, along with the support of family members, is essential for effective care of patients with this serious illness. The aim of this thesis is to explore the specifics of nursing care for clients with Alzheimer's disease in social service facilities. Additionally, the approach of general nurses to informing families of clients with Alzheimer's disease was examined, as well as how these nurses educate the families. The objectives were achieved through qualitative research, which included interviews with general nurses. The research was conducted in homes for the elderly and in special care homes in České Budějovice. The results will be used as teaching material for students of non-medical health disciplines and for general nurses.

This thesis is dealing with the possibilities of long-term care and support of the health- social care pointing to staying a senior with disability in his or her natural social environment - in community. The theoretical part is dealing with demographic predictions which are based on the necessity to take attention of long-term care provided to seniors. It deals with the definition of old age and ageing from the social gerontology point of view, senior needs and their saturation. It defines the basic of legal Framework of the problematics. It contains the summary of the present condition of the long-term care in the Czech Republic and in the chosen countries. The role of the minor patient in the decision-making process regarding the provided health care

The bachelor's thesis entitled "The role of the minor patient in the decision-making process about the provided health care" deals with the issue of the rights of child patients and their respect. The work tries to outline the issue of providing health care to minor patients, its pitfalls and possible solutions to related problems. The aim of the work was to map the knowledge of minor patients in the area of their rights in the provision of health care and to evaluate their respect by health workers. The theoretical part of the thesis provides a basic overview of legal sources that regulate the role of minor patients in the provision of health care. This part of the work further outlines selected topics of the given issue from the point of view of valid legislation and points out possible pitfalls in practice. The empirical part presents the results of own work and their comparison with the results of other researches. The research method was a questionnaire of our own construction, which was distributed in the outpatient clinic of a general practitioner for children and adolescents. In the study itself were included 92 duly completed questionnaires. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is understand the issues and the burden of caregivers in the home environment. The goal is to find out what services caregivers use, or why they don´t use them. And what services would they possibly use. Whether these social services meet the needs of families. The research was done through semi-structured interviews with caregivers from the small town named Votice.
Wireless Nurse Care Calling

This work describes the design, construction a performance of such a complete wireless pager suitable for health care centers, rest homes, home application, for example for calling an attendant. This appliance is designed to be easy to attendance. A wireless transceiver is simplified and is attended only by one button. A wireless receiver also doesn't require a complicated manipulation. The aim is to create pager, which will be an useful assistant thanks to its price and simple construction.
Marketing Strategy of a Private Eye Surgery

The aim of this Master’s thesis is to create marketing plan for private eye office. The thesis is divided into two main parts, theretical and practical. The first part summarizes theoretical knowledge about marketing of services and specifics in healt care marketing. It was created marketing mix 4P and 4C of health care. Practical part begins of introducing of private eye office. Next step is to analyze environment of eye office using following methods: McKinsey 7S, Porter's five forces and SLEPT analysis. Conclusions of these analyses are summarized in SWOT analysis. Afterwards each question of questionnaire survey – focused on client´s comfort and ways how to improve it, is analyzed. Results and ideas come from survey how to improve our clients comfort during the examination are summarized in the proposed solutions and discussion.

There are no adequate spatial reserves in the existing hospital campus, or inside its buildings. New technology and modernisation require increased capacity of the Masaryk Institute of Oncology and improvement of the area by new development offering services like cancer prevention or proton therapy facilities.
Secured data transfer between client and server using hessian protocol

The objective of this work was the choice and creating of a secure communication protocols between server and a client in order to transmit sensitive medical data through an unsecured network. The first part is focused on a theoretical description and the properties of both client and server applications, metaprotocols, their purpose and thein appropriate use. The second part describes creation of secure communication and creation of demonstration application for secure data transmission. It is demonstrated by setting the server, creation of client applications and compilation of the certificate, including its installation.
