This master thesis deals with the design of a cableway cabin intended for a mountain environment. The aim of the thesis was to create a cabin that not only meets the technical and ergonomic requirements, but also provides passengers with comfort and experience during the journey. The contribution of the design is an attractive design that harmoniously connects the body of the cabin with the suspension system. Ergonomic access inside the spacious interior allows easy storage of transported equipment, which enhances passenger comfort. The design also focused on incorporating innovative features that enhance the experience of the cable car ride. These features include a roof balcony, a partially transparent floor and a cab rotation function. This has resulted in an innovative and competitive cable car design that can be used in any mountain area and provide passengers with a high level of comfort and experience.
Design of Electric Pruning Shears

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of cordless pruning shears. It´s aim is to design such pruning shears, which fulfil ergonomic, structural, and functional requirements and align with secondary goals. First, we made research of currently available commercial products with focus on their appearance and technical side. Thanks to this research three concepts were designed, from which one final was chosen. This resulting final design complies with basic functional, ergonomical, and aesthetic needs and adds another functions and improvements for a better experience.
Selecting Objects in Augmented Reality
Pribylina, Martin ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kapinus, Michal (advisor)
This work proposes and tests methods for object selection in augmented reality. The work focuses on selecting objects that overlap with each other in densely populated clusters. The proposed selection methods are direct selection, cursor, and list. As part of the work, an application has been developed that allows testing of the three methods and measures accuracy, time, motion and other criteria for a thorough evaluation of their applicability. The application was implemented using Unity and ARCore. A user study with 16 respondents was conducted using the test application. The results of the work show the advantages and disadvantages of each selection.
The possibilities of optimization of the control elements in the cabin of the L-39NG aircraft
Klečák, Filip ; Zikmund, Pavel (referee) ; Procházková, Hana (advisor)
An effective cockpit design is one of the main prerequites for creating a succesful aircraft. This statement is even more pronounced in the sphere of military aviation, where perfect synergy is usually required between the pilot and the aircraft. This thesis focuses on optimization of control elements in the cockpit of the Aero L-39NG aircraft, a new trainer airplane designed by the czech company Aero Vodochody AEROSPACE. This airplane belongs to the jet trainer airplane category, representing an important role in training military pilots progressing towards fighter airplanes. The chosen method of conduction is a research of similar trainer airplanes as well as modern fighter airplanes, examination and comparison of used control elements and equipment. The main objective is to create suggestions of possible cockpit opimizations according to the trends observed in the studied aircraft.
The influence of the working environment on the quality of posture - applied ergonomics and physiotherapy in the office environment
CHADIM, Petr
This bachelor's thesis explores the impact of the work environment on body posture quality within the context of office settings. The objective of this study is to analyze how factors of the work environment, such as furniture ergonomics, workstation arrangement, and work tools, affect employees' body posture, and how these factors can be optimized to prevent musculoskeletal disorders and enhance overall comfort. The study focuses on two primary areas of intervention: applied ergonomics and physiotherapy. Concerning applied ergonomics, the thesis investigates principles and practices for designing work environments that promote healthy body posture and mitigate the risks of adverse effects caused by prolonged sitting. Additionally, it evaluates the ergonomic aspects of technical equipment and employees ergonomic habits. Physiotherapy constitutes the second pillar of this work. The research examines how a physiotherapeutic approach can assist employees in improving body posture quality, enhancing muscle stability, and preventing potential musculoskeletal disorders. This section of the thesis presents specific physiotherapeutic exercise procedures and techniques suitable for office environments. The practical part of the work was conducted in the form of a qualitative research on a sample of three subjects. I conducted an analysis of existing ergonomic and physiotherapeutic approaches and case studies investigating the specific implementation of these approaches in a selected company. The results indicate that proper ergonomics of the working environment and regular physiotherapy can effectively contribute to maintaining healthy body posture of employees and thus their overall comfort and productivity.
Možnosti fyzioterapie u digitálních nemocí
ANDRLOVÁ, Nikola
This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of physiotherapy in digital diseases. Digital illnesses are relatively a new concepts and they are becoming more common in people working on computers or other electronic devices. The aim of the work was to describe the digital diseases and to propose a therapeutic treatment for people with one of these diseases. In the theoretical part, the anatomy and kinesiology of individual parts of the upper limb and cervical spine are described. Next, the plexus brachialis, individual digital diseases, ergonomics of the workplace and the procedures used in the therapy are described. The practical part describes the methods of data collection that were used and the case studies of probands. The research group consisted of three respondents who work on computers and have been diagnosed one of the digital diseases. An individual therapeutic unit was proposed to each probands according to the initial kinesiological analysis, which was conducted once a week for approximately two months. At the last therapy, an exit kinesiological examination was conducted to analyse the outcome. The collected results showed that the proposed therapy and periodic practice of selected exercises bring positive effects. Probands indicated pain relief and relief when working on the computer. Next, range of motion and muscle strength in all parts of the upper limb were improved. This bachelor thesis could be useful for physiotherapists who meet with these patients in the future and it could help them in their work or for the lay public to learn more about similar problems that troubling them.
Problems of drum kit players from the perspective of physiotherapy
KOŠNEROVÁ, Barbora
The bachelor's thesis is dealing with the players of the drum set, primarily musculoskeletal disorders that bothers them. Because all musculoskeletal disorders couldn't fit in this thesis, the most important ones were chosen. The most problematic part of a body was chosen with help from a questionnaire using a pain assessment. Then, all the musculoskeletal disorders related to this part of a body were analyzed. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is dealing with drum set, techniques of playing the drum set, kinesiology, the most common musculoskeletal disorders and their prevention. The practical part is done by form of mixed research. The quantitative element is a questionnaire to which 250 probands answered. The questionnaire was posted for three months - from August to November and on Facebook groups for drummers. The following research includes case studies of three probands selected from the questionnaire. Each proband underwent six therapies over a period of three weeks. At the same time, in these three weeks, they did the same exercise unit and were educated about ergonomics while playing. An initial examination was done during the first therapy, and an exit examination was performed during the last one. It is evident from the results of the questionnaire that the most problematic part of body from the examined group is the low back. That is why the rest of the research was focused on it. At follow-up research, there was an improvement in low back pain in all probands. It can therefore be stated that compensatory exercises, stretching and following the ergonomics of the seat and setting the drum set are important for drummers. The results of this thesis could be used as an educational material for drummers and drum teachers.
