Career opportunities for alumni of the Health and Social Care programme on the labour market

The goal of this bachelor's thesis was to map out career opportunities for alumni of the Health and Social Care programme. The key themes of this topic are defined in the theoretical section. The research portion was realized using the method of qualitative research, which was fulfilled using semi-structured interviews with five participants. The results were processed using open and axial coding. The research section poses the following three research questions. What is the current employment of alumni of the Health and Social Care programme? (In the case of further education, what do they currently study?) It was found that the participants work in different areas and positions in the social field and two participants are studying a master's programme in management. How do the alumni characterize their experience on the labour market? It was found that the experience of the participants on the labour market is very diverse. The process of finding employment and its difficulty are very individual and can be associated with different obstacles. What experiences did the alumni of the Health and Social Care programme gain during their studies that are now valuable considering their current employment and what would they change about the programme? Generally, the participants consider their professional practice during their studies to be the most valuable. However, they would recommend changing the contents and the manners of theoretical subjects. This thesis can contribute to students and those interested in becoming students of the Health and Social Care programme. This thesis is also contributing by giving feedback to the University of South Bohemia České Budějovice.
Support for people with physical disabilities in the transition from school to the labor market

This thesis focuses on the topic of the transition of people with disabilities from the school environment to working life. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part presents key topics related to the transition of people with disabilities from school to the labour market, such as support in education, employment and independent living, transition programmes, employment choices and job opportunities. For the practical part, qualitative research was chosen to explore, using unstructured narrative interviews, the transition between school and employment for people with more severe physical disabilities who already have work experience. Social support from friends was found to play a key role in the job search process. Respondents had a limited choice of high schools, often opting for schools with secondary school diplomas in order to continue their studies at university, but at the same time choosing their field of study according to the school they required to be barrier- free and experienced in teaching pupils with disabilities. Motivation to seek employment was mainly financial and the desire to be useful to the labour market, while respondents did not want to spend all their time non-productively at home. Unemployment Reduction Proposal in the District of Havlíčkův Brod

This master’s thesis deals with problem of unemployment in the district of Havlickuv Brod in years 2009 – 2013. It analyses factors, which have influence on unemployment and the structure of applicants for a job in different categories. On the basis of the analysis are suggested measures, which should lead to the reduction of unemployment in district Havlickuv Brod.

This master’s thesis deals with the problem of unemployment and its development in the district of Trebic in years 2009 – 2013. The work is focused of finding the causes of unemployment through labor market analysis, especially structure of job seeker. Some solutions that can help to reduce unemployment rate in the district of Trebic result from the conducted analysis. These are presented in the conclusion of the thesis.
Cooperation of the public and private sector in construction engineering

The diploma thesis is focused on the analysis cooperation between the public and private sector in construction engineering. The introductory part contain the main theoretical concepts from the domain public and private sectors, managements and teamwork, construction engineering and personal management. Furthermore, it defines theoretical knowledge of the labour market and the education system SR and their benefit for the construction engineering. In the empirical part, is thesis focused on the analysis cooperation each sectors construction industry based on interviews and using a questionnaire survey. The final part thesis summarize particular detection and dedicated to proposal for a recommendation to improve cooperation between the public and private sectors in construction engineering.

Utilization of the ESF for Solving Unemployment Problem in the District of Břeclav

This bachelor´s thesis deals with issue of unemployment in the District of Breclav and its solution through the use of financial resources from the European Social Fund for active employment policy. The theoretical part of the work focus on knowledge of the European Union and on issue of unemployment. The analytical part is devoted to research unemployment in the District of Breclav, retraining and further target groups in active employment policy. Proposal part of work deals with the questionnaire survey, to assess the effectiveness of retraining. The result of bachelor´s thesis are proposals to improve the situation regarding unemployment and retraining.
