Diversity antennas for wireless ranging

Bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem vhodné mikropáskové flíčkové antény na bezdrátové měření vzdálenosti. Nejdříve se práce zabývá rozdíly ve vlastnostech u lineárních flíčkových antén a antén s levotočivou a pravotočivou kruhovou polarizací. Následně jsou navržené antény optimalizovány v návrhovém prostředí Ansys HFSS tak, aby odpovídaly požadavkům pro frekvenční pásmo Bluetooth Low Energy, správnému impedančnímu přizpůsobení a také požadovaným vyzařovacím schopnostem. Po vyhodnocení výsledků je výsledná nejvhodnější anténa vyrobena a jsou shrnuty a srovnány výsledky měření.
BLE ranging key fob antenna

Tato bakalářská práce sestává z návrhu antény do klíčku auta, jež bude schopna pomocí mikrokontroléru metodou channel sounding měřit vzdálenost mezi autem a jeho klíčkem. Anténa je navržena pro pásmo 2,4 GHz, ve kterém pracuje technologie Bluetooth Low Energy. V projektu je porovnáním několika numerických modelů, vytvořených a simulovaných v programu ANSYS HFSS, rozebrána problematika výběru vhodného typu antény. Na základě získaných poznatků je následně nejvhodnější anténa optimalizována pro použití s čipem NXP KW45 a její optimalizovaná verze je pak realizována za účelem experimentálního ověření funkčnosti.

Remote control of an embedded system via a mobile application using data transfer over Bluetooth

This work is focused on programming a mobile application that will be compatible with common mobile operating systems, and demonstrating two-way wireless communication between the application and the specified ESP32 module. Bluetooth wireless technology was chosen for communication between devices, and the mobile application was designed and programmed in the Qt Framework. To demonstrate the functionality of wireless communication, the ESP32 module is configured in the role of an SPP server, to which the mobile device connects in the role of a client.
Multi-protocol sniffer and analyzer

The subject of this thesis is the design of a device that captures Bluetooth Low Energy or IEEE 802.15.4 frames and sends them via Ethernet interface to a computer for further analysis using Wireshark. The device is based on the CC2652RB microchip from Texas Instruments, which is accompanied by WIZnet W5500 Ethernet controller. This thesis describes software and hardware aspects of said device, furthermore it briefly mentions a custom designed Wireshark dissector. In addition, this thesis contains a quick handbook for Texas Instruments microcontrollers software development.
Finger Position Tracking in 3D Space

The aim of this work is to create a universal system for measuring data describing position in 3D space. This paper provides a theoretical overview of position description in 3D space and shows the possibilities of position reconstruction from sensor data. It gives a closer look at the RingOne hardware device, and finally proposes and implements a system for finger position reconstruction using this device. This system consists of the firmware for the RingOne device, a C language library allowing easy communication with the measuring device and a protocol defining the way data is transmitted and how the measuring device is configured. This work is also complemented by a modified Spacenavd driver for easy presentation of the measured data.
Smart Home Security System

This thesis deals with the security of flats and houses using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology. The aim of the thesis is to develop an electronic security system for access and intrusion control exploiting the possibilities of Bluetooth Low Energy technology for improved user experience. The thesis describes security systems, BLE technology and ESP32 microcontroller. The creation of a mobile application that is used to set up the system and its management is included, as well. The thesis also describes the design, construction of a prototype and its implementation. The last part is the verification of functionality, testing and suggestions of possibilities for further improvement of the created prototype.

The first part of bachelor's thesis Compact Bluetooth multimeter discusses Bluetooth Low Energy technology. It describes individual layers and protocols of its communication chain. There are also described some of the electronic ciruits and methods used for measuring in electronics. The second part of the bachelor's thesis describes practical design and implementation procedures of the compact multimeter which communicates with a smartphone application via Bluetooth Low Energy.

Another part of thesis looks to Zero–Knowledge protocols, which protocols with zero information, their analysis and base elements, also thesis presents technology Bluetooth Low Energy, specification of this technology in transmission simple data between computer Raspberry Pi 2 and mobile phone. The practical part of thesis works on experiment of sending simple data between Raspberry 2 and Android phone.
