Design of material handling between the planned interimwarehouse and welding shops using dynamic simulation
Vícha, Ondřej ; Urbánek, Michal (referee) ; Hloska, Jiří (advisor)
This master thesis deals with optimizing material and information flow between the production plants and warehouses during the reconstruction of the manufacturing plant of Schäfer in Hranice na Moravě. At first, a theoretical introduction to the issues of inter-company transport services is presented. This introduction is followed by an analysis of the current state of material and information flow at the manufacturing plant. The practical part of the thesis consists of a simulation model made in the Tecnomatix plant simulation program. This simulation model includes the plant's current and future states and a layout of future material flow between the welding shops and warehouses. It also contains a conceptual design of the material flow. The optimization is conducted using a matrix of experiments, which are subsequently evaluated. In the end, the most optimal solution for material and information flow is developed and suggested.
Workshop gantry crane with a load capacity of 300 kg
Vícha, Ondřej ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with worktop gantry crane with a load capacity of 300kg. In the research part of the thesis there is an overview of existing construction solutions for smaller worktop cranes with load capacity up to 1500 kg. In second part there is a design, construction solution and construction plan of the specific crane. The construction plan includes various calculations used during the design phase of the crane as well as drawings of crane parts.

Polluter Pays Principle in the Environmental Law
Vícha, Ondřej ; Damohorský, Milan (advisor) ; Müllerová, Hana (referee) ; Drobník, Jaroslav (referee)
A B S T R A C T of the dissertation "Polluter Pays Principle in the Environmental Law" JUDr. Ondřej Vícha The Doctoral Program¨"Theoretical Legal Sciences", Law Faculty, Charles University in Prague This thesis deals with the legal aspects of the the polluter pays principle (PPP) within the environmental law. The aim of this thesis is to provide an overview of current definitions of this principle and its application in the International, European and national Czech law. The text is devided into ten chapters. After the introduction, the thesis ruminates on legal principles in general, their status and function in the legal system and in the environmental law specially. The third part holds forth on development and functions of the PPP and its relation to other legal principles of the environmental law. The polluter-pays principle represents among the OECD countries, respectively at the European level, for quite a long recognized and practically applied economic and legal principles leading to internalize the costs of environmental protection, which are transferred from states to the real polluters, who pollutes environment by their production or other economic activities. The history of this principle reflects a gradual shift in meaning. At first, the Recommendations of the OECD and the EC referred to the...
Promoting protection of cultural values in protection of woody plants
Dienstbier, Filip ; Pouperová, Olga ; Vícha, Ondřej
A diagnostic feature of objects of garden and landscape architecture, that are recognised as cultural monuments, are growing elements, of them indisputably the most important category are the elements of woody vegetation - trees and shrubs. These, however, are besides the cultural preservations subject to nature and landscape protection, as they have biological and aesthetic values, as well as ecological values. For this reason they are subject inter alia to protection provided by nature protection bodies according to the Act on nature and landscape protection. Interests on protection of woody plants from the prospective of cultural preservation on one hand and the prospective of nature and landscape protection on the other, may depending on the specific circumstances supplement each other or may be indifferent, but they may also differ and collide with each other. These methods are a new instrument for effective promotion of interests on cultural preservation in decision-making on the protection of woody plants outside forests. The methods provide with a comprehensive set of recommendations, both substantive and procedural, how bodies of cultural protection and owners of cultural monuments or other entities concerned should proceed when dealing with trees growing outside forests. The recommendations are defined for basic model situations.

Promoting protection of cultural values in spatial planning process – spatial plan
Dienstbier, Filip ; Pouperová, Olga ; Vícha, Ondřej
Spatial planning instruments are key instruments in the protection and promotion of both, public and private interests when using the land. Their importance stems from their complexity, the hierarchical structure of spatial planning documentation and binding effect of the documentation for consequential spatial-decision-making procedures. Neither the protection of cultural monuments and protected zones, as encompassed in the Act on State Cultural Preservation, is not possible without consistent enforcement of heritage values in the spatial planning process. It is not only the role of bodies of spatial planning, but especially the role of bodies of cultural preservation in the position of bodies concerned and the specialized authority of cultural preservation – the National Heritage Institute. These certified methods provide with clear support and advice how effectively and successfully promote interests associated with cultural preservation. The methods are focused on the process of making the spatial plan, as it is the most frequent spatial planning document and various bodies of cultural preservation on lower levels of are involved in this phase.
