Assessment of the Economic Situation in the Choosen Private Corporation Using the Selected Methods, Proposals and Recommendations for its Improvement

The subject of this master's thesis is the analysis of the external and internal environment of Seats, a company operating on the automotive market. For the assessment of its current position, there were used the SLEPTE analysis, Porter´s five forces model, model 7S, and selected financial analysis methods. The results of these analyses are summarized in a SWOT analysis. Based on the executed analyses, recommendations to improve the company's economic situation have been suggested.

New generation of biofuels

This bachelor's thesis deals with different generations of biofuels. Their advantages and disadvantages and problems associated with their use in practice. The first part of the theses focuses on legislation and acquaintance with the issue of biofuels as a whole. The second part is focused on acquaintance and description of individual biofuels with examples of use in practice. At the end of the work there is an analysis of individual generations, representation in the fuel market and their efficiency.

Far-left politics in the Czech Republic: Socialist solidarity

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the far-left politics in the Czech Republic, more precisely with the development of the Trotskyist organization Socialist Solidarity from the beginning of its establishment in the 1990s to 2019. The first part introduces besides the revolutionary ideas of Trotskyism that are necessary for a proper understanding of the functioning of Trotskyist organizations, also the thoughts and aims of the Russian revolutionary Leon Trotsky, on which the ideology of Trotskyism is based. The second part is the most important and it is dedicated to the analysis of Socialist Solidarity itself, which deals with its origin, organizational structure, ecological issues, successes and failures, Also, the attitude of the Socialist Solidarity to the current political situation is presented as well as the relationship with the anarchists, which has evolved over time into positive cooperation, is outlined. Next, also other Trotskyist organizations, which were active or still are active in the Czech Republic, are marginally presented. It is the Socialist Alternative Future, the Socialist Organization of Working People, and the New Anti-Capitalist Left. Regional parties in the Czech political system

Regional parties in the political system of the Czech Republic are a relatively new phenomenon. There are not many authors and experts dealing with this issue. Moreover, there is no generally accepted definition according to which these political entities can be identified. This thesis is based primarily on the definition of regional parties by Maxmilian Strmiska. As the research method, a multi-case study based on seven selected regional parties was used. The focus of the research lies in the empirical-analytical approach of selected monographs, websites of the regional parties themselves, and most of the information contains semi-structured interviews with selected representatives of the regional parties. The theoretical part presents several definitions and divisions of regional parties not only from Czech but also from foreign experts and authors. The main part focuses on selected regional parties themselves, their membership base, internal structure and functioning or results in the last three regional elections. This thesis shows a high diversity among examined regional parties. Some managed to be electorally successful throughout the period under study, others began to be electorally successful only recently or vice versa at the beginning and gradually lost their position. Analýza životního cyklu fosilních motorových paliv a biopaliv pro tvorbu koncepčních dokumentů zavedení daně z CO2 v oblasti mobilních zdrojů znečišťování

V rámci projektu bude řešena analýza hodnocení životního cyklu fosilních motorových paliv a biopaliv, jejichž použití se jeví jako perspektivní v současnosti a v horizontu blízké budoucnosti, ať již ve formě směsného motorového paliva, či v podobě čistého paliva. Hlavními cíli autorů studie bude vyhodnotit bilanci emisí CO2 v celém životním cyklu definovaných motorových paliv a energetickou bilanci výroby jednotlivých motorových paliv. Nad rámec současného stavu řešení LCA analýz bude také během řešení projektu zpracována analýza hodnocení ekonomických nákladů v celém životním cyklu (LCCA – Life-Cycle Cost Assessment), která bude sloužit jako podkladový materiál pro návrh zavedení daně z CO2 v oblasti mobilních zdrojů znečišťování a také pro další aplikace nástrojů, zajišťujících udržitelné využívání motorových paliv.
