Structural and tectonic analysis of the mesa in Polická basin
Dergunova, Alexandra ; Hartvich, Filip (advisor) ; Mertlík, Jan (referee)
The area of the Polická basin is in fault and tectonic structures region. Neotectonic and recent long-term movements occur along the geomorphological systems. Endogenous and exogenous processes are the main reason of tectonic activity in the area. Polická basin and its look is influenced by geomorphological processes and represents a perfect region for the study of active fault structures. This area is influenced by physical-geographic characteristics of the region and reflects with long-term processes which determine the development of this area. Two large systems of Polický and Skalský fault run across the selected area. The course of these systems is confirmed by previous studies, and it is indicated in geological maps. The area of faults crosses is area with the most affected geomorphological elements of the relief. Ostaš, Hejda and Kočičí skaly mesas is greatly influenced by Polický fault zone, mainly due to fault close location to the selected geomorphological surface forms. Result of the fault zones pressure is observed on various structures and their form. During the relief and surface features analysis and examination were used various methods, which confirmed the influence of fault zones. The fracture systems showed the same orientation as the Polický fault orientation (SSE - NNW)....
Use of supporting technologies at operational and informational centers of the integrated rescue system
MERTLÍK, Josef
The aim of diploma thesis on the topic "Use of assistive technologies in the operational and information centres of the integrated rescue system" is to evaluate the possibility of using assistive technologies in the operational and information centres of the integrated rescue system of the South Bohemian region. In my diploma thesis I first focus on the theoretical part, where basic information about the integrated rescue system and the fire brigade is summarized through professional literature, laws, and decrees. I also conducted a search of available professional sources. In the theoretical part, I also listed the most commonly used assistive technologies in the operational and information centres of the integrated rescue system. In the research part, I first focused on a survey of the opinions of the staff of the Operations and Information Centre of the Fire and Rescue Service of the South Bohemian Region on the use of assistive technologies through a questionnaire survey. Furthermore, in this part I deal with the analysis of types and subtypes of events for which it would be appropriate or inappropriate to use supporting technologies, namely, to compile an automatic technology designer. I compiled an analysis of statistics of departures and events in 2021, compiled into graphical summaries. From the evaluated answers to the given questions, it is evident that most operational technicians and officers agree with the introduction of assistive technologies. Likewise, the overall analysis shows the benefits for the use of an automatic technology designer. The contribution of this diploma thesis is the use of processed information at the operational and information centre of the Fire and Rescue Service of the South Bohemian Region.
Preventive fire guard activities
MERTLÍK, Josef
The aim of the bachelor's work on the "Action of preventive fire patrols" is to examine the familiarity of the inclusion of individual members of the Preventive Fire Watch in the workplace. Determination of staff knowledge of preventive fire watch and facilities of preventive fire patrol. The bachelor's work is first focused on the theoretical part. Using expert literature, laws and decrees that withdraw to the issue of fire protection and specifically to the activities of preventive fire patrols, there is a compilation of the supporting documents used to meet the stated aim of bachelor's work. The reader is familiar with the operation of the fire rescue system. For the theory of preventive fire patrols, the conditions under which they are set up and the training sessions must be undertaken by members of the preventive fire watch. The practical part of the work focuses on research on the knowledge of individual employees. A questionnaire investigation with 14 questions was used for research. The respondents came from one business and consisted of both members of the Preventive Fire Patrol and non-members of the Preventive Fire Patrol. The responder to the questionnaire questions were analysis for the information obtained, comparing, and evaluating the individual responses. Through the charts, there was a clear representation of the evaluation of the individual responses. After an overall assessment of all responses, the correct responses were just 7%, it´s clear that most of the knowledge of the respondents does not achieve the expected results. Staff take part in regular training sessions, vet the information received from such training has not been adequately reflected in the correct responses to the questionnaires. The benefit of this bachelor's work is the compilation of obligations under legislation that can be drawn on by an entrepreneur who is under a new obligation to set up a fire watch. Furthermore, also to a businessperson who already has that obligation, whether they fulfil all their obligations sufficiently and to the right extent.

Title: Case report patient after implantantion of left total endoprosthesis knee Objective: The aim of this thesis is the processing of case studies selected patients in countinous professional practice and become familiar with theoretical base implantation diagnosis of total knee arthroplasty. Abstract: This case study was performed during the period of 10.1. to 4. 2. 2011. This article is divided into a theoretical component and a practical component. The theoretical component consists of an anatomical description of the knee joint and its kinesiology. The issue of arthritis are described along with the complications of total knee replacement, their types, indications and contraindications. Also, surgical technique and possible complications are discussed as a reminder of basic anatomical and biomechanical characteristics of the knee joint. The practical component focuses on the aspects of rehabilitation in patients with total knee arthroplasty. The case report was completed on a patient with implanted total knee arthroplasty through initial analysis and a detailed proposal therapy rehabilitation treatment plan. In conclusion, the practical component is composed of final testing and evaluation of the therapy plan. Key words: total endoprosthesis, knee joint, physiotherapy, case report
Difference wrist mobility with players racing and recreational tennis
Mertlík, Jakub ; Pavlů, Dagmar (advisor) ; Pánek, David (referee)
Title: Difference wrist mobility with players racing and recreational tennis Objective: The aim of this work is to measure and compare the range of motion of the wrist in racing and recreational tennis players and both upper limbs (playing, not playing). To compare the values measured 2D electrogoniometry, by sex and game levels. Method: Research probands were divided into two groups, a total of 20 people. In one group, there were ten boys and ten girls aged 14-17 years who play tennis at competitive level and train four to five times a week for at least 4 years. The second group also consisted of 10 boys and 10 girls in the same age range, but tennis is played on a recreational level once maximum twice a week for at least 4 years. It was important that the criteria for selecting probands had several common denominators. These are gender, age, level of game, whether measured by an individual not had any injury, regeneration is not and should not do other activities besides tennis. Wrist probands were tested using an electric goniometer. Were measured in the frontal plane (radial and ulnar reduction) and sagittal plane (dorsal and palmar flexion). These data were measured by sitting electrogoniometry and subsequently were compared and statistically analyzed. Results: Measurements confirmed...

Cave formation initiated by dissolution of carbonate cement in qartzose sandstones
Adamovič, Jiří ; Mikuláš, Radek ; Navrátil, Tomáš ; Mertlík, J.
Besides cavities of irregular shape, European sandstones also feature symmetrical cavities of spherical, ellipsoidal or teardrop shapes. Most of them are tens of centimetres across but some reach as much as 2–3 m in diameter and may coalesce into large caves tens of metres in length. Their origin has not been clearly explained yet. Based on the field comparison between such cavities in quartzose sandstones and incompletely developed cavities in carbonate-cemented sandstones, it can be demonstrated that the symmetrical cavities form by carbonate dissolution within the limits of former carbonate concretions. The diagnostic features of post-concretionary cavities include their circular or elliptical cross-section, a uniform orientation of their long axes across the region, and the presence of a set of parallel vertical joints or grooves/ribs on their inner walls. In some sandstone areas (e.g., Petite Suisse area in Luxembourg, Kokořín area in the Czech Republic), a wide variety of transitional forms can be found between the cavities and concretions forming positive relief on a vertical cliff face, depending on the position of the carbonate dissolution front in the present landscape.

The main aim of this thesis is in analyzing and empirically testing the various valuation models and hedging schemes of foreign exchange barrier options and their robustness with respect to changing of market conditions. The purpose of the main empirical section is to get a detailed understanding of the static and dynamic performance of the analyzed models for the barrier options payoff mainly in the extreme market conditions, where we performed a benchmarking of the various hedging schemes. As a by-product, we analyzed the accomplishment of some of the model assumptions in real world setting, and the model dependency of the barrier options.
