Subjective and objective view on the importance of rehabilitation for individuals with physical disabilities

The main goal of diploma thesis Subjective and objective view on the importance of rehabilitation or individuals whit pgysical disabilities is to analyze rehabilitation meaning for the person with physical disabilities, specifically for a lady with muscular dystropgy from subjective and objective point of view. First chapters describe theoretical background of terminology, physical disability definition and characteristics, description of rehabilitation as whole and its elements. Following chapter focuses on research and case study. For the elaboration of the diploma thesis, were used analysis of professional literature, a qualitative research survey based on direct observation, interviews, anamnestic questionnaires and medical dokumentation analysis. The research revealed the importance of rehabilitation from a both objective and subjective point of view. Objective findings after intensive physioterapy during the rehabilitation stay were entirely consistent with the subjective feelings of the person who was the subject of the research. Education of children with mental disabilities from point of view of the contemporary educational trends

The main goal of this thesis entitled Education of children with mental disabilities from point of view of the contemporary educational trends is to analyze progress of inclusive education on pupil with light mental disorder at the beginning of mandatory education, evaluate the influence of external factors on the success of joint learning and draw up specific recommendations for further inclusive practice at the school where the research was conducted. The first chapters describe theoretical background dealing with the education of pupils with mental disabilities. Chapters contain definition of terms mental disabilities and mental retardation, characteristics of pupils with these disabilities, possibilities of their education, legislative documents related to the education of pupils with special educational needs. Chapters are dealing with inclusive education which is currently the leading trend in modern education. The inclusive education term is defined, its conditions, advantages and possible connected problems and also factors influencing this type of education are described. There are given the didactic principles, methods and advice for mental disabilities pupils education. Following chapter is focused on research itself and contains case study.
