Biostratigraphical value of the Mediterranean planktic foraminifera.
Škrátek, Matej ; Holcová, Katarína (advisor) ; Kopecká, Jitka (referee)
The first part of the work deals with the general biology of planktonic foraminifera, shell morphology, and ecology. The following section concerns the middle Miocene period and its biostratigraphic division into biozones based on planktonic species in subtropical areas and the Mediterranean region. The next part includes a brief overview of chemostratigraphy using strontium and its use in dating. The practical section includes dating methods based on biostratigraphy and chemostratigraphy, and their subsequent use in dating samples from southern Spain. The final part summarizes the results of both methods and their interpretation.
Preferences of moving activities of children and youths in their in free time
Kopecká, Jitka ; Přibyl, Ivan (advisor) ; Mojžíšová, Jarmila (referee)
In my bachelor thesis, I focused on finding physical activity preferences of children and young people in their free time. The theoretical part includes concepts related to free time, education, leisure sports and ontogeny of children and young people of school age. The practical part is focused on empirical research that examines how physical activity prefer in their spare time children and young people of school age. The results of this research are compared with particular interest education school facilities.
Foraminifera like paleoecological and biostratigraphical markers
Scheiner, Filip ; Holcová, Katarína (advisor) ; Kopecká, Jitka (referee)
The thesis deals with classification of foraminifera and development of foraminifera systematics in time. It also provides an complex overview of foraminifera biology, which includes cell biology, feeding, growth and life cycle of foraminifera. Next chapter describes morphological characteristics of foraminiferal test as the most important feature for taxonomy in paleontology. The following part presents basic factors and aspects of ecology. Practical part describes micropaleontological analysis of borehole Hrušovany located in SE part of the Central Paratethys. The foraminiferal assemblage allowed correlation with the Early Badenian (Langhian) and reconstruct paleoenvironment in this part of basin. Key words: foraminifera, taxonomy, Central Paratethys, Langhian, paleoecology
