Modeling and fault detection of electric power system
Kluz, Jan ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
Thesis focuses on the topic of fault detection of power systems. First part presents a comprehensive review of area of reactive, preventive and predictive maintenace of power systems based on physical or AI–driven models. Important part is design and subsequent assembly of an experimental testing device. This device incorporates four faults: heightened contact resistance, low contact area, parallel load imbalance and sparking. Device contains precise current and linear Hall sensors. The device has successfully been assembled and tested with positive results. A lumped parameter thermal networks has been created on this experimental device and results were verified with measured data. Thesis also contains statistical analysis of voltage and current signals, that were captured during spark discharges with 10 – 90 voltage supply.
Testbend for dynamic loading of electric drives
Valášek, Ondřej ; Pruša, Radomír (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the development and implementation of a PLC program in a workplace for dynamic loading of electric drives. Initially, an analysis of the dynamics of electric drives is performed, including the principle of operation of permanent magnet synchronous motors. The effects of control and design parameters of the electric motors on the resulting dynamic parameters of the system are then described. The practical part of the work first deals with the recovery of the workstation for operation in manual mode in order to determine the important parameters for the operation of the inverter in the dynamic brake mode. Based on the obtained variable parameters, a control program is developed and soon implemented in the PLC. The designed program is then verified by loading the DC motor in both speed and torque loop with constant and variable parameter change time. The data from the validation tests are evaluated and displayed in graphs that describe the measurement outputs. Finally, recommendations for workplace optimization are given. A manual for operating the workstation and controlling it from the user interface in Connect is included.
Simulation model of a production machine servo drive taking into account the control system
Tejkl, Jan ; Pruša, Radomír (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the problem of simulation of servo using the control system of a production machine, in the control system there are various constants and recalculations for the most accurate position control. The objective of this work is to create a model of the actuator, with a control loop simulating the control system.
Design of DC motor for teaching
Hajdú, Zsolt ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is Design of DC motor for teaching. The main goal of this bachelor thesis was to create an electric motor that uses direct current, commutator brushes, and permanent magnets to generate torque. Another goal of this bachelor thesis was to achieve 50W of power at 100rad/s. We also set a secondary goal to achieve 50% efficiency across the entire speed range. To create the theoretical model, we used Fleming's right-hand rule. Using this principle and based on calculations, we constructed the motor. The main power source was a car battery. After constructing the motor, we measured its parameters and compared the obtained values with the theoretical ones.
Design of the X-ray system cabinet
Slávik, Andrej ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of an automated interface of sample exchange, as an extension for the existing concept of an industrial CT cabinet. The solution is intended for laboratory conditions. The design is based on the idea of a conveyor system that transports samples from a tray to the CT cabinet, where they are accurately placed on a rotating stage and prepared for CT analysis. Once the analysis is complete, the sample is returned to the tray. One of the main requirements of the solution is the continuous operation of the X-ray source, which is solved by adding a chamber to the conveyor system before the sample enters the cabinet. The design has been developed taking into account the legislative safety requirements. The work also includes a preliminary design of the workplace control and also technical drawings of the assembly.
Utilization of artificial intelligence in vibrodiagnostics
Dočekalová, Petra ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with machine learning, expert systems, fuzzy logic, genetic algorithms, neural networks and chaos theory, which fall into the category of artificial intelligence. The aim of this work is to describe and implement three different classification methods, according to which the data set will be processed. The GNU Octave software environment was chosen for the data application for licensing reasons. Further evaluate the success of data classification, including visualization. Three different classification methods are used for comparison, so that we can compare the processed data with each other.
Design of a small vibration exciter
Palík, Václav ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is to design a small vibration exciter. The research part is devoted to researching the market and the availability of different exciters. Furthermore, the work deals separately with the design of electro-magnetic and mechanical parts of the exciter. The design of the exciter is valorised, and the possibilities of its use are evaluated.
Testing of insulating systems of electrical machines
Procházka, Jan ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis defines basic required properties of insulation systems in rotating electric machines. The following are procedures for their testing and results of conducted tests.
Modeling the heat propagation in the linear axis with a ball screw and servodrive
Malásek, Michal ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the creation of a heat propagation model for a linear axis with a ball screw and a servodrive. Many heat sources can be found on the axis, which mainly include the motor, bearings, etc. The aim of the research part, is to approach the issue of heat loss and propagation. Subsequently, a 3D model of the entire axis assembly is created. The result of the work is to analyze the sources of losses for the selected work cycle. The next step is to simulate the temperature distribution in selected operating cycles on the created 3D model of the axis.
Energetic model of linear axis with ball screw and servodrive
Sládek, Vojtěch ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to study the Energy Models of Linear Axes with Ball Screws and Servo Drives, to analyze the individual parts of the axis with respect to losses, the methodology of calculating the losses on the electrical part and the mechanical part of the drive and creating a complex algorithm that calculates the energy consumed for the specified motion. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part, where the theoretical part is divided into the treatise on the electrical part of the axis and its losses and the part that deals with the mechanical part and its losses. The calculation is divided into the basic verification algorithm and the calculation on the given example. Each calculation is calculated for both linear acceleration and S-curve acceleration. For both types of acceleration, the result of energy and its course over time is also the waveforms of position, velocity, acceleration, angular acceleration, moments, powers, power, speed and currents over time.
